After eight months,

I started to work in my old company. i did work into Karan's company that's why my boss gave me promotion. Now, I am working on higher position with higher salary then last.

Everyone gives me respect now. My boss also doesn't talk harshly with me. I knew the reason but I neglect it.

After coming back, my family didn't talk me about my marriage like they will have no problem if I got older without marriage. It seemed they learnt their lesson or they didn't want me to do again mistake like last time.

I am not complaining rather I am satisfied that my family are not curious for my marriage.

I am in contact with Sameera and kavish. We always talked about what's going on into our life.

In the simple words, my life is going on smoothly but I am happy while I should be.

I tried to be happy and satisfied with my current life but I knew from my heart. I am not.

I was working into my office. I was looking an important file and my mobile rang.

I looked the mobile screen. Suddenly, I remembered I had the meeting with him. I accepted the call and greeted with excitement, "hello"

I heard joyfully voice from other side, "Hey, mita, where are you right now? Do you want me to pick you?"

"No... I will meet you in restaurant." I immediately rejected his offer because I didn't want to cause any trouble for both of us.

He laughed from other side, "I know it. Come on time otherwise I will be getting late."

"Ofcourse.... See you later." I told him.

"Bye" he hung up the call and I put my mobile aside and concentrated on complete the work..

After completing, I turned off my laptop, packed my bag and got up. I looked at time. It's closing time that's why I went to my boss cabin.

After knocking, I entered his cabin and told polietly, "Sir I have to go early."

My boss looked at me with smile and said, "ok..."

I smiled back, "thank you sir and good bye."

He smiled again, "Are you going on date, Mita?"

I rolled my eyes inside my head because now, my family gave up on my marriage but my colleagues and my superiors are curious about my marriage or relationship status after I returned back.

I forcefully smiled, "no sir, I am going to see my friend."

"Oh.. you dressed up like it that's why I thought...." He said with disappointment as my relationship is his own business.

I smirked, "Sir, when I will get married, I will inform you first."

He didn't say anything but only smiled and I left his cabin.

I knew today I dressed up differently because I was going to meet Kavish. I worn branded clothes today while I used plain clothes as usual. The reason is I don't want to humiliate him. I knew kavish and Sameera never compliant what I wear but I don't want any person raises a finger towards them that they have a friend below their status to humiliate them.

I wear plain clothes usually while Sameera gave me a lot of branded clothes and stuffs but they are only for decoration in wardrobe or Richa and I use its on occasions.

I don't want to show off by using branded clothes. If I use branded clothes usually, everyone thought I became arrogant because I lived in rich family for some times. There are rumours about me in my society and office towards me after I returned but should I care? Nobody say anything in front of me that's why I ignored every rumours but I am alert for any trouble. Because I didn't want my family suffer because of me.

I left office, took auto and reached the restaurant. When I entered, I searched and my eyes spotted on him. He was drinking water with calmness.

Naturally, a smile came on my lips to look him. I went to his table, put my handbag aside on table and asked while sitting, "Do you come early?"

He looked at me and smiled, "no... You are late."

I laughed and made an excuse without any shame, "It's not my fault... It's traffic jam." I grabbed glass and water bottle and poured water into glass and gulped.

He laughed, "you became a good lair as time passing."

After finishing the water, I commented, "I am learning from you."

He made expression like hurt, "you are hurting me." I only laughed and called waiter with my hand.

He came and asked for order. I told to waiter, "one plate dosa." And looked at kavish, "what do you want? I am starving."

He smiled polietly and told waiter, "one more plate for me too."

When the waiter left, kavish said me, "do you think I am not starving?"

I laughed and nodded.

After few minutes, he asked seriously, "Are you coming?"

I knew what he was asking that's why I sighed and told him truth, "I don't know. I didn't decide till yet."

He said with desperately, "Mita, it's long time. You have decide soon."

I looked at him, "it's not easy for me."

He didn't say anything that's why I opened my mouth, "by the way, Sameera already tricked me this time."

He looked at me with amusement, "how?"

I sighed again, "she told Richa and Soham and they are nagging me to go."

He smiled, "that's good. Only Sameera can do it."

I smiled to think how my siblings are giving me pressure to attend the award ceremony which was invited by Sameera. When I declined to attend, Sameera told Richa about it. Ofcourse, it's high level party and anybody doesn't miss the chance to attend this type of party then how can my family?

But when thought about him, a sadness came into my heart. I told Kavish, "but I don't know how to face him."

Kavish tried to convince me, "Everything will be fine. At least, give yourself a chance to accept him."

I knew what Kavish was thinking but I had my reasons.

Even, Kavish explained me before about Karan's Business shortly and said, "He is not bad guy and doesn't harm anybody without reason. He has his own way to deal everything. Sorry, I can't tell more. If you want to know more, you have to ask him. only Karan has right to explain me." But I didn't make my mind what I want till yet how can I ask him?

We didn't talk to each other since last eight months. I miss him and want to talk him everyday but I didn't want to give any hope untill I decide what I want.

The waiter served our order and we were eating silently. Then kavish changed topic, "so what's going on your office?"

"Nothing special.... As usual..." I replied nonchalantly. But something clicked on mind and looked at Kavish who was looking at me with amusement.

I shook my head with depression, "I didn't know you like gossips so much."

He smirked, "who don't want to entertain themselves?"

He has a point that's why I rolled my eyes abd replied, "After that incident, nobody dares to talk me. Do you think anybody wants to offend her?" I wanted to say Karan but I won't never admit.

Actually, when I rejoined the office, there were a lot of rumours. Everybody wanted to know how I spend the time when I was missing or they wanted to know how I ended up in Karan's house.

Somebody thought highly for me while others thought lowly for me. I don't care about myself but how can I hear about Karan or his family or my family.

And most annoying thing, Mahesh started to chase me. I didn't know how to clear the mess. But one day, I was working and Mahesh sat beside my chair and asked, "Mita, are you free today?"

I knew what he was asking that's why I said without looking at him, "no... I am not."

"Ok.... Tell me when you are free, we can go outside to eat."

I said nicely, "but I like home food."

He didn't take my hint and continued, "then we can go your home or mine... As you like..."

I glared him and asked with gritted my teeth, "why would I go to your house or you come to my house?"

He smiled shyly, "Come on mita... You are not stupid, right? You know what I mean?"

I warned him, "I know what you want to say that's why I asking. But aren't you stupid? That you can't understand what I want to say you...." I took a deep breath, "ok.... Let me say you on your face of you want. I am not interested into you and anybody that's why leave me alone... Otherwise... It's right I have no connection with Mr Karan but you know I am friend to his sister. And he doted his sister. If I call her and tell her what are all of you spreading rumour about me or her family, do you imagine what will happen all of you?"

I glared at him. He was terrified with my warning. But after few moments, he composed himself abd smile weakly, "hehe... mita... I was kidding... Why are you getting serious? Don't worry. I understand and I will not disturb you."

I smiled evilly, "it will be good for you and others."

I didn't tell about it Sameera because it's hard to explain her everything. But I told Kavish about it. He laughed when I told him and commented, "you are really devil."

Did I have another choice to stop rumours and mainly stop him to chase me?

Kavish shook her head, "Even I am his cousin. I dare not."

Kavish and Karan relationship improved since I left. Even they are not close as before but they started to talk each other and spend time with each other. According to kavish, it was not bad.

I didn't say anything but he asked again, "do you not invite me into your house?"

"I can't."

He laughed, "you are really unpredictable. You said you didn't decide anything yet but you care about his feelings."

I cleared him, "it's not like that. I don't want my family misunderstand about our relationship. It's really hard to explain them." I changed the topic, "by the way, when are you going to meet me with your girlfriend?"

He choked that's why I gave him glass of water. After he regained, he told, "Mita, you know I don't have any."

I blinked my eyes, "when are you going to make one?"

He looked at me with seriousness, "why are you desperately behind me about my relationship status now."

I told him nonchalantly, "because after that,I don't need to explain my family anything."

After few minutes, he said, "I don't need to scarifice myself. Why don't you tell your family about you and Karan?"

I took a bite, chewed slowly and then answered, "do you think my family believe me if I told them about Karan and me?"

He thought for seconds and said, "you have a point. I have a solution about it. Your family will believe when karan will tell them himself."

My eyes widened, "no way"

He laughed, "I was just kidding. Look at your face."

I made my face, "just shut up.... Can't we talk anything else?"

He surrendered abd said, "Fine... Fine... So are you coming or not?"

I rolled my eyes. Again same topic... Why does my every topic ended up on him?

We chatted happily and kavish went back his city while I came to my home with good spirit.

I entered into hall, tossed my bag on sofa and sat lazily. Richa and mummy were drinking tea into hall.

Richa asked me with smile, "you are looking in good mood."

I replied, "yeah... I am."

She smirked, "what do you want to eat in dinner?"

I replied, "I already eat... I am full."

Her smile widened, "with whom?"

Then I understood what she was taking? I ignored her because it's was better for me.

She continued, "did he come again?"

I knew she was talking kavish that's why I asked with irritation, "what are you doing here? Don't you have your home?"

She didn't take it seriously, "it's also my home. By the way, you didn't answer me. Why didn't you invite him here?"

I lied, "he was in hurry and he returned soon."

She asked, "oh... When Sameera comes here, why didn't he?"

I got frustrated, "because I don't want you misunderstand about him. He is only friend of mine and like brother."

I didn't want Sameera gets to know about it as well Karan. And he would make any fuss about it. Kavish and his relationship are getting improved and I don't want it would effect because of me.

Richa said mockery, "A girl and boy can't be just friends."

I shouted with frustration, "Just shut up."

She laughed, "I was just kidding. Why are you taking seriously?"

I rubbed my temple, "are you done?" I ignored her and looked at mummy, "doesn't she have any work into her home?"

She made her Face, "when you will come back here after marriage, I will ask you same question."

I told her, "but I am not annoying like you."

She changed the topic, "by the way, I am here because Sameera called me. She said we should reach there before award party. It means we have to go on this Tuesday."

It means after four days. No I was not ready face him.

I gulped my saliva, "my boss is not giving me leave because there is audit this week."

She smirked, "ohh... I forgot to tell you. Sameera also told if there is any problem for taking the leave, she can talk to your company CEO directly."

I looked my sister with anger because she was pushing my button hardly.

She smiled, put her cup on table and pulled my arm towards her, "Let's go for packing."

Did I have any other choice? I took many deep breaths to control myself. My heartbeat increased to thinking about him. How will I face him? I knew I have to do it and face it but I didn't know how?

Even, Sameera denied us to pack anything because she already arranged everything for us but we have to do packing according to us.

Richa and I was discussing what to wear and when and accordingly we were packing.

After coming back home, it was my first trip with my family. But I was not excited. We were packing and talking.

Suddenly Richa asked, "Mita.."

I was putting my stuff into suitcase, "hmm?"

"Do you think Karan's girlfriend coming to party?" She asked with excitement.

My face got pale to hear it.

Everyone knew he has girlfriend. First because of his birthday party. But after I returned back, Karan managed to deleted my pictures in every sites and blogs because according to Sameera, it's for my safety. I understood it and I also wanted it. I don't want anybody recognised to as his girlfriend. Even, mostly have my photo but I was looking different that day than usual that's why nobody recognised me easily. And most important, my family didn't know that time about him that's why they don't see my photo.

And second most important reason, Karan appeared in every social site and he started to give interview since last eight months. In every interview, he doesn't forget to mention that he has a beautiful girlfriend who is angry with him for some reason and he is waiting for her.

That's why he became a most romantic and eglibile guy. Everyone prays that his girlfriend forgive him and reunite with him. And my sister is not exception. She wants to meet her desperately while she doesn't know who is she.

I quickly covered my expression and said, "why don't you ask Sameera? How will I know about it?"

She smiled, "I ask her. Sameera told me she will definitely come. By the way, do you know who is she?"

She asked me many times but I gave her reply same, "I don't know."

She looked at me with unbelievable, "But Sameera said you know her."

I was irritated, "then why doesn't Sameera tell you?"

She made her face, "Sameera said if her brother gets to know that she disclose his girlfriend identity, He will kill her."

I smirked, "do you think he won't kill me when he can kill his sister? Richa, seriously, you want me to be death."

I gave her fake hurt expression.

She smiled sheepish, "come on I am your sister. I won't tell anyone."

I laughed because I knew she was thinking me as foolish. If his girlfriend is anybody else, I have no problem to tell my sister. But how can I put my leg on ace myself? Thats why I have her suggestion, "we are going to party. And you will meet him personally. Why will not you ask him directly?"

I knew she has not guts to ask him directly. She made her face and didn't say anything. I was feeling relieved that she didn't ask anything else otherwise I didn't know how to give her answer.
