《Reapertale: The Reaper Finds Love》Searching the Truth in the Storm Pt. 4

(??? POV)
"I need your assistance for a moment. I believe you know what has been happening in our realm, well my realm." The man I had come to know over these long years turned to me nodding, the glow from his eye shining behind his vest.
"Yes my lady, I have noticed the threat that seems to be affecting the worlds beyond these walls. We need to find the two that defeated Chara and assist them in banishing this evil." He said closing his one eye that I could see.
I sighed looking out the windows of the library that i found myself in such a long time ago. "Do you think the knowledge I sent them will help at all? Or should we show ourselves?" I could only wonder what would happen if we were to leave this place unattended.
"Ma'am, if I might be so bold as to say that I should leave alone to fetch the Angel and the Reaper. That way this place and its knowledge are still guarded, also I am the stronger of the both of us. I am more likely to make it back in one piece than you are, without turning to dust." I nodded, he had one of the same fears that I had, and with his more physical body would be more likely to make it to those two. Yet I couldn't allow him to be seen, gods don't get along well with demons.
"Very well, but I have one rule. Do not under any circumstances be seen. If at all possible I would much prefer those two make it here alone, and you came back to me as well. I cannot lose you as well. My husband is already lost to me, as are my sons. Leave this note on their door then come back here as fast as you can." I said turning my back to him, his hand made its way to my shoulder.

"Of course ma'am. I could never leave you alone for to long, and if it is your wish for me not to be seen it will be done as such." I smiled warmly to him as he pulled his hand away, then he took the note from me waving a fer-well as he left out the doors to find those two. I might not know who they were but I hoped that they could help rid this world of any more pain.
(3rd POV)
The man made his way past the Library doors and out the portal to the world of the gods. It took him three days to reach Sans house and leave the note on the door. Before he could make it back to the portal to their Library a certain flower popped out behind him. "Well look what we have here. A demon. By the looks of you, I'd say that your are the demon of the library. That necklace there, is that how you see and write all of history?"
He turned round in surprise only to have a sudden pain shoot through his chest. "You.. what have you done?" He managed to say before falling to the grassy floor below, black spilling from the hole in his chest. A laugh could be heard in the background as he struggled to keep his eyes open. Coughing more black liquid out onto the grass.
"You idiot, leaving the safety of your library just to try and stop me. Since when did you think you could win that battle. You have no power beyond looking into that gem of yours. As for that woman you found, well she will be long dead by the time you manage to make it back there, if you survive that is." It laughed again before disappearing into the ground.
"I am sorry, my lady. I have failed you." I turned to my back and held the gem around my neck up to my lips. "There is one last thing I can do for you. I release your memories and grant you the knowledge about the fight with Chara. Gem grant a barrier around the library, no soul might leave or enter the grounds. Protect my lady, until you no longer have the power in you to do so." The gem dropped from his hand as he fell unconscious on the grass, the sun beating down upon his broken body.

(Sans POV)
We sat in those chairs for a little while when Frisk asked something, "Sans.. I never thought to ask before but where are we? I remember the last place we were was in the house sleeping on the couch, so are we dreaming or is this someplace real that we need to find and go to?"
I didn't know what to say so I looked to the open sky above us, the storm raging around us then back to the books before us. "Honestly.. I'm not sure. We learned things from Flowey's past and ours, he was involved in both of our lives showing we go further back than we thought. Yet it seems that he was.. softer maybe at least until Chara did something to him." I took my hand to my head, all of this thinking was hurting my head.
Suddenly the place started to shake and fall apart. Books falling from their shelves the door seemed to be disappearing like dust in the wind. "Sans, what is happening?" Frisk yelled to me as she fought to stay on her feet. I teleported next to her and held her up as we looked around at the place, part of the roof fell before us.
"If I had to guess, either were waking up or were being thrown out. Lets hope its the ladder and were waking up." I held Frisk close to me but she turned to me and then backed away in shock. "What is it kid?"
"Sans, your disappearing. Your turning to dust." i lifted a hand to see myself disappearing slowly, then I sighed.
"Okay, I will probably wake before you in that case. I will wait for you Frisk, just don't you go dying on me got that." She nodded and when I blinked I was leaning up against Frisk who was still asleep. They looked so pale yet they were still breathing. "Thank goodness." I looked around the room to see a blanket covering both of us and a light on in the kitchen. Carefully lowering Frisk to the armrest I got up and walked to the kitchen to see Paps and Gaster talking.
"WHEN DO YOU THINK THEY WILL WAKE, ITS ALREADY BEEN FOUR DAYS SINCE THEY FELL ASLEEP LIKE THAT. THE FACT WE COULDN'T MOVE THEM WITHOUT GETTING SHOCKED WAS STRANGE." Paps said stirring what I could only assume to be pasta.
"Hey Paps, did you say four days?" I said coming up next to him. He looked at me with wide eyes before pulling me into a hug, Gaster was leaving the room.
"SANS, NEXT TIME YOU INTEND TO SLEEP FOR THAT LONG WARN ME NEXT TIME. I WAS SO WORRIED FOR YOU AND THE HUMAN." I chuckled a little.
"Sorry Paps, I don't even remember falling asleep. This is I had the strangest dream, but I will tell you everything after Frisk wakes up alright. And you know they aren't a human anymore right?"
