《Reapertale: The Reaper Finds Love》I Wont Leave Your Side

She had been running a fever for a few days now and tibia honest I wasn't sure if I was doing the right thing staying at her side through all of this. I was going over Gasters notes hoping to find some solution to this when I just kind of gave up. "What do you need me to do Frisk? I don't understand what I need to do. we've been at Pappys house for almost a week now and you haven't said anything."
"Sans... sleep." Well anything that made since. The only thing they ever said to do was sleep. I don't sleep. It always felt wrong to sleep almost like taboo, but this kid wasn't giving me much of an option at this point.
"Alright Frisk, so you just want me to close my eye sockets for a little while. I think I can do that." I lay my head on my arms on the bed and suddenly felt strange. My eye sockets felt strangely heavy. "Well this is weird. I think I might need to take a nap after a-"
"BROTHER I'M BACK WITH THE SPAGHETTI... SANS ARE YOU OK?" Little did Papyrus know that he wouldn't be able to wake me up either.
***
When I lifted my head all I could see was darkness. "Frisk?" All I heard was silence, "Hello is anyone here?" Not a sound was made but I saw a slight glow to the right of me. I knew it hadn't been there before so I turned to look. There was a tunnel leading down deeper which tibia honest didn't seem like a good idea to head down into but I did anyway. "Guys you know better than to play with death so what's going on?" I kept calling out to no avail. When I reached the bottom about thirty minutes after I originally got down here I saw maybe three rooms.

"Frisk you down here kiddo?"
"Sans? Is that you what are you doing here you need to wake up, NOW!"
"You are the one who told me to go to sleep, now where are you?"
"Sans just run forget about me and get out of here. Hurry before she gets back."
"Before wh-"
"Before I get here you bone head." A figure similar to frisk walked around the corner.
"Who are you?"
"Oh little old me. My name is Darkness. Depending upon which universe you look into I am usually called Chara. The first of many who followed. Frisk here well their my polar opposite and as most people like to call them Mercy I prefer to call them light. You see they too have three names. They are The goddess of Mercy, The goddess of Light, and Frisk. I am The goddess of Darkness and Chara. You Sans are Reaper, Death, and just Sans. Honestly though I never expected to find you here."
"What have you done with Frisk?"
"Nothing yet. It took me for ever to even get here. They are a strong one and I still don't know which room their in. Which is why your here Mr. Skeleton to 'help' me find them."
"Now why would I do that?"
"Simple my dear Sans. So that we can kill them. That is why you followed them after all isn't it. Because we were on your quota for the year. Our soul would pay off a lot of little things for you and your brother after all."
"No that is not why I followed Frisk. I admit I was curious about them but I never intended on taking their soul."
"You don't know anything about them and your saying you never intended on taking our soul? Then why did you follow us?"

"Because I was curious. Because I had never seen a soul such as theirs. Because.." because of the one thing I just now came to realize. I couldn't tell this demon that had died long ago causing the prince to parish and my attempts to bring him back making him an evil flower. "No you don't need to know my reasoning upon following Frisk. All you need to know is your going to have a bad time if you don't leave Frisk alone."
"Oh is it what I think it is. Just like stupid Azzy all those years ago. Your what awakened her soul into summing me aren't you. Well I guess I should be thanking you then. You have given me the opportunity to live again. Through Frisks body."
"Kid I don't know what your talking about but if you want Frisk your going to have to go through me."
"All the better Death. I don't want to have you reap my soul from me when you wake up after all." I summoned my scythes and thy summoned their swords. We clashed.
"I will never let you harm a hair on Frisks head. Even if I have to comeback from Death itself to kill you."
"Funny you should say that Mr. Sans Reaper Death. After all only you can call back the souls of the dead. Except your own and I am well aware your idiot of a brother cant do it so if you die you would actually die. No ifs ands or buts about it."
Eventually I got one of my scythes across their back and the other over their trough. "Kid I'm going to kill you where you stand, but first. Its a beautiful day outside, The stars are bright, The moon is shining, on days like this kids like you, Should be burning in the depths of my Hell."
I forced their face to look into my eyes, staring at their soul I pulled my ultimate move. "I'm going to give you my favorite move kid. Reapers Death." Their skin turns ash grey their eyes go black as I send their soul to the eight dimension. Dropping the body to the floor I opened the far left door to see frisk against the wall in chains. "Frisk!"
"Sans (cough) I thought I told you to leave. Why didn't you leave?"
"Simple kid. I promised that I wouldn't leave your side."

The Emperor's Concubine
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] The heroine is good and the villainess is evil. That was the absolute truth. That rule was undeniable as well as the fact that only the heroine would receive true love and her happy ending. Likewise, the malicious villainess would always suffer and leave the stage to clear the path for the perfect heroine in the end. So, for Blanche it felt like her world came crashing around her when she remembered the truth about her life. As the villainess in the typical romance novel “To Be Empress” she was fated to be condemned and abandoned by her lover. No matter how devoted she was to Theodore Estien, the emperor of Artias, she would only be the bratty concubine that would obstruct the heroine, who happened to be Theodore's lawful wife and the empress. In the end, the villainess would be deserted and executed. It was destined to happen like this, and yet she couldn't give up. She had to change the future. Preventing the romance between the main characters would get her killed. Much like trying to steer away from the enemies' intrigues, in which she was already caught up, would. But neither the heroine nor the emperor's political rivals would change the fact that Blanche loved the man that was supposed to be the heroine's. And no matter what happened she would always stay by her lover's side. So she wouldn't just follow the book's storyline and let her own doom arrive. Blanche would survive while trying to suppress all of the selfish desires that had made her the villainess. But was she truly fine with that? Did she not desire more than just surviving? Did she even have the right? Could the villainess ask for a happy end? Was she too brazen if she just wanted to stay with the man she loved and receive his affection? And wasn't there a bit more to this novel than she remembered? She didn't know and in the end that mattered little when the world around her changed with each day as more and more questions about the future and the past arose. "The Emperor's Concubine" will be updated thrice a week (usually on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays) *The Profanity tag was added due to the characters' occasional swearing, which should not happen too often.
