"So where are we going to meet Asgore?"

"In his castle where else. Toriel told me to deliver him a pie. She might be mad at him but it does keep him from setting the whole world up in flames."

"I see. So if he doesn't get the pie the king of the sky will send a ray of lightning setting the wold world ablaze and it will all burn to the ground in a blaze of fiery hell?"

"Basically yes. That is essentially what will happen only not because of not getting a pie."

"Then why would he set the world on fire. He isn't a flame monster after all, that's Grilby."

"You ask to many questions Death. Also if you are going to talk to me i guess you could stand by my side."

"Really? Glad to see your warming up to me."

"I'm not i just hate yelling behind me to answer your questions. Witch reminds me, do you have any other questions before we get to the castle."

"Just one. How long ago did Toriel kick you out of her secret garden?"

"That... Is not a matter up for discussion. I will not be answering any questions to the nature of Lifes' and my relationship."

"Why do you start calling us by our God or Goddess name when you get flustered or are talking to them. When you talk about them to me you always say their names. Except mine. You only call me my name until you get nervous then I'm just Death to you."

"It's simple Death. I don't like referring to you or the others by your names because what happens when one of the others like error break into this universe. I've meet the guy tibia honest i don't particularly care for his presence." I chuckled a little bit and just had to ask to make sure i wasn't hearing the pun they just made.

"Did you just make a pun?"

"No."

"Really i could have sworn that it was very puny."

"Sans, no."

"Sans, yes and thank you for using my name. I much prefer it over Death. i suppose though that if one of the others were to show up you could use Death so that it won't get to confusing." A smile graced her face for just a second. If i hadn't turned my eyes to her I would have missed it.

"Anyway where her your brother Papyrus should be inside."

"AH HUMAN I SEE YOU HAVE COME FOR THE SPAGHETTI CONTEST. I'M SO GLAD YOU COULD HELP ME BEAT UNDYNE THIS YEAR."

"No problem. I'm sure this year you will defeat War and that sly robot."

"OH COME ON HUMAN DON'T YOU THINK THAT JUST THIS ONCE YOU COULD JUST CALL US OUR NAMES. AND METTATON IS NOT A SLY ROBOT."

"Sure... Pa- Pap... no I cannot do as you ask." Is she flustered? The more I look at her the more emotions i see every time. Just like at Undynes house.

"Papyrus why not just make her say your name. If she can't do it then she'll have to do something of your choosing."

"What no. No absolutely no-"

"GREAT IDEA SANS. HUMAN YOU WILL CALL ME PAPYRUS AND THE OTHERS BY THEIR NAMES OR... YOU WILL HAVE TO MAKE UP WITH METTATON."

"Paps what do you mean make up with Mettaton?"

She looked almost furious with my question, but i wasn't asking her about her relationships. "OH METTATON JUST KIND OF HURT SOMEONE CLOSE TO HER AND SHE GOT REALLY MAD. YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE FIGHT. SHE TOOK OVER FOR HER FRIEND AND REFUSED TO ATTACK. METTATON GOT IN A FEW GOOD HITS BUT THEY DIDN'T FALTER. I BECAME THEIR FRIEND THAT DAY."

"I see... but pappy what do you mean a few good hits. I thought Frisk couldn't die."

"I can't you bone head. Nither yours or your brothers scythes can take my soul. Mettaton just ruffed me up a bit. As i recall Alphis needed to stitch my head closed after."

"Didn't that hurt?"

"If you mean hurt as in pain no. Mettaton would have had to do much worse than he did that day to actually hurt me in such a way that I would feel pain. In any case shouldn't we go sign in. We don't want to be late for the contest."

"OH YOU ARE SO VERY RIGHT HUMAN. WE SHOULD HURRY." We followed paps into the house and to the kitchen. Alphis must be the judge because she is sitting at a table with her name on it

"Were here Knowledge. Read the rules so we can start. I have an appointment to keep."

"A-alright the rules. F-first off no large fires. S-second no single t-team members are to do all the w-work. Third do n-not attempt to sabotage the o-other teams spaghetti. Lastly n-no camera crew Mettaton. This is not t-to be televised."

"Oh but darling~ My life is a show and must be shared with the world."

"No Mettaton. T-those are the rules. Especially after l-last years fiasco."

"Alright Alphis dear, but you will wish you had let me when Undyne and I win the competition."

"Oh shut it you darn ass! After last year I'm more surprised they let you come back!"

"What? Frisk did you just yell at me? I've never even heard you raise your voice." The robot was right. The kiddo was livid with anger.

"Welp, I'm going to stay next to Alphis." I stated as i walked over to Alphis side. Their angry expression returning to that of the one they had before I had gotten close to them.

"Oh my. I do apologize for that i don't know whats gotten into me lately."

"I-in any case l-lets start the competition shall we?" Papyrus won just like I had expected when the competition was over. He hugged and thanked Frisk for the help while Undyne put out the fire on their end of the kitchen.

"Well i should be going. Thank you all for hanging out with us today." They still had their usual expression but something was off.

"Hey kiddo you sure your alright. You look a tad pale."

"I AGREE WITH SANS ON THIS ONE HUMAN. I KNOW YOU CANNOT DIE BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU CANT GET SICK. MAYBE YOU SHOULD STAY HERE AND REST FO-"

"No thank you Papyrus. I'm okay." They smiled and walked out the door. I shrugged and went out the door to continue following them only to see them on the ground just a little ways away

"Shit." I mumbled "Papyrus can you help me for a bit."

"OF COURSE SA- WHAT HAPPENED TO THE HUMAN?" He ran over to them. Their eyes were closed and they were breathing shallowly. Maybe dads notes were right, they seemed to grow weaker around me. Only showed emotions around me. The others had never even seen her yell. Yet she did.

"San.. don't leave me." She opened her eyes a little bit reaching out a hand to me.

"Course ki- Frisk anything you ask just tell me what i need to do."

"We need to... lay down and sleep. We are stuck in a hole we cannot escape. I didn't foresee this outcome." Her hand went limp as Papyrus picked her up walking back into the house. We went to the room i used long ago and placed her on the bed. He pulled up a blanket and left the room only to return with a chair and a second blanket. 

"Whats the chair for Paps?"

"YOU DID PROMISE TO STAY BY HER SIDE BROTHER. SO I THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE A BIT BETTER FOR YOU TO DO IT WITH."

"Fair enough Paps, but um has Frisk gotten sick before?"

"NOT THAT I KNOW OF. THEY DON'T PARTICULARLY CARE FOR TALKING ABOUT THEIR PAST. I KNOW THEY USED TO LIVE WITH QUEEN TORIEL BEFORE BUT NOT MUCH ELSE. THEY HAVEN'T EVEN SHOWN ANY EMOTIONS UNTIL TODAY. SANS I'M WORRIED."

"Me too paps. Me too."
