《My Mate the Wanderer》22. Control

As I started towards class I noticed that Tyler wasn't waiting for me by my locker.
I gathered up my books figuring that he must have headed to our next class without me.
When I reached the room I could smell wolf pouring out of it.
I glanced into the room as my eyes landed on the petite woman sitting behind the old wooden desk.
I could tell before I even got a good look at her that she was also a wolf.
I slowly walked into the nearly empty classroom and sat in one of the desks.
Tyler hadn't shown up yet so I chose a spot with a few opens desks around it so he could sit by me.
There was still a few minutes before class was supposed to start so I pulled out a notebook and began to doodle.
I could feel a familiar set of eyes on me so I looked up.
Tyler was standing at the door of the classroom staring at me intently.
I gave a quick smile and he slowly approached me with a look of hesitation on his face.
I cocked my head to the side and gave a light smile, but suddenly I could feel my heart start to race.
An overwhelming scent filled my nose, Tyler's scent.
I knew that my eyes had changed as I took in his scent.
When I had smelled him before it had smelled like a nice light cologne but this time it invaded my senses like a drug.
I could feel Accalia going crazy in my mind trying to get free and go to her mate but I held her back.
I softly moaned as Tyler stood next to me.
In that moment I wanted to jump out of my seat and run my fingers through his hair.

I slowly looked up at him and when my eyes met his I swear I could have come undone right then and there.
"Don't tempt me little one." Tyler's beast said.
I cleared my throat and looked back down at my notebook.
This period is going to be next to impossible with Tyler here, but I knew that I had to control myself.
The bell rang a minute later and class began.
The entire class period I could feel Accalia clawing at the back of my mind trying to get free.
I could feel her growling at me for keeping her from her mate.
"Ms. Kendrick can I see you in the hallway please." The teacher called from the front of the room.
"Sure." I said quietly as I lowered my eyes to the floor trying to hide my embarrassment.
I stood up and quickly followed her out of the classroom.
Once we left she tightly close the door behind her.
"Ms. Kendrick, I have heard that you are new to this world but you need to do a better job at controlling yourself. I can see your eyes flashing from the front of the room, now you need to control yourself." She said harshly.
"I'm sorry," I stammered out. "But his scent is making my wolf crazy."
A small smile tugged at the corner of her mouth.
"Ah, so you've found your mate?" She asked me more gently.
I sighed as I shuffled my feet in the spot where I stood.
"I already knew he was my mate but when my wolfs sense of smell hit me at lunch I didn't even think about the fact that I would be able to smell him better too."
The teacher lightly chuckled.
"I remember the first time I smelled my mate. I couldn't control my self and immediately shifted and ran to him." She said as she let a wistful look cover her face.

"Well under these circumstances I'll let you be excused from class, but I'll need you to get your wolf under control. We can't have any humans asking questions that they shouldn't be."
"Thank you ma'am. I'll get her under control."
The teacher turned and opened the door.
"Tyler could you please walk Aubree to the nurses office." She said as she walked back into the classroom.
I waited outside the classroom for Tyler.
When he walked through the doorway I felt Accalia claw at my mind again.
Holding her back was becoming so difficult.
Tyler gently closed the door behind him and took a step towards me.
"Let's go run. It will calm you down." He said as he grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the front of the school.

Dungeon Misfits
(Warning: The story is still currently in a poor quality state, read on at your own risk.) After the devastating great war, many people were left with poverty, hardship and starvation. Due to this, miscreants and mendicants were a common occurrence here. Thus at such hard times, many different kinds of desperate people would try to delve and discover various dangerous dungeons. And it was at such times, where different people and monsters converge, that various interesting stories and situations could happen. It could be about an aspiring necromancer seeking to find a place in the dungeon in order to seclude himself to his studies and research on necromancy. It could be a story of a struggling group of bandits, deserters and highwaymen using a dungeon cave as a hideout. Even about a bunch of struggling newbies adventurers stumbling in a dungeon. Or perhaps about a certain diabolist, a witch, and a rogue who are ostracised by others due to their professions, being forced to work together as a team in a dungeon. All the while, encountering even more eccentric people on the way. Different people, different situations, but whatever happens inside the dungeon remains to be seen.

Mayhem of Magic
The world revolves around magic. The kingdom of Raekoft lives because of it. Magic is everywhere and flows through everyone and everything, seemingly with a mind of its own. Ritz Dravus is a 17-year-old teen with a rare potential in battle magic. After years of working and saving up money, he can finally attend the best magical academy in Raekoft, Liken Academy. If only he could enjoy his time there. Liken Academy is a place taken over by the upper class. A place where power rules supreme. Ritz’s humble beginnings will struggle in a place where social standing and power defines a person. Rittz will have to go through the usual school drama of making friends, keeping up with classes, dealing with crushes, fighting against bullies, growing insanity, magic manipulation, power scaling and the ever-looming threat of a neighbouring kingdom hungry for war. If magic is the first rule in this world, then mayhem would be the second. Author Note: This is a rewrite of Magic and Mayhem. I've taken a good look at where I would like to take the series and came to the conclusion that I would like to rewrite the story with a more set structure in mind. This is a full rewrite with elements like the story, style and characters changing slightly or completely. Please do give me a chance to provide all of you with a better story for all of you to enjoy. Thank you :)

The Novel's Extra's Extra
As a reader, Cristopher always looked for things that entertained him, didn't matter what the "critics" said, all that matters was his own opinion on the novel, so he started reading "The Novel's Extra", a webnovel that despicts an author who is transmigrated to his own novel. It was fun and all with its own good and bad points, really, one of his favorites novels at the end of the journey, and that's taking into account the little fact that he didn't have too many things he was able to enjoy, not in that empty shell that was called life for him... Why could someone be born like that? With a void inside, an endless void that slowly consumes oneself... But... for better or worse... everything changed one day, the same day he woke up to discover he had the same faith of the author whose novel he just finished reading, becoming an extra in a novel, becoming The novel's extra's extra... /Ok, now that's the description I thought of... first of all, for those of you who are reading this, if any, a few points I have to make clear: 1. I'm not an english native speaker, so if you find anything wrong in the text, please let me know, that would help me learn, and I would be thankful for that.2. I'm writting this out of pure "enjoyment", so while I'll try to be constant, I'll not make any promises.3. True reason why I'm writing this is because I'm going through a moderate to crippling depression right now (and no, is not because anything trully bad and horrendous happened to me, it seems to have something to do with my brain's malfuctioning, among other things), and doctors told me to try writing as I enjoy reading. So yeah, this is more like a self-help excercise, to keep myself distracted while trying to be safe from my self.4. I choose to make a fanfiction of "The Novel's Extra" as I don't trully know how to write, and because I really loved that webnovel, though there are some points I didn't particulary liked.5. If you see some (let's be clear, really much) self insertion on this series, well, that may be me trying to escape reality, to which I make an early warning and disclaimer, and also ask for forgiveness, as I said before, this is more of an excercise, so don't take it too serious.6. I'll be a slow writer, as I have to still check a few things from the novel, even when I've read it like 3 or 4 times already, and because I know shit about writing a novel or a series.7. If you get to enjoy this, then that's good, I would be glad about it, maybe even more motivated, but I don't really expect this to be any good. Thanks to you all who may, or may not, be reading this novel./
