"Ambrosia" Victoria gushed as she half-ran down the stairs to greet her and the human was in a permanent state of confusion and fear. It wasn't at all helped as the red-haired lady pulled her into a tight, welcoming hug. It was as if she was being reunited with a long-since departed relative and Ambrosia knew she would have felt stiff in the vampire's arms, her body not responding as her mind ran in cartwheels of confusion. "Look how big you've gotten!"

"Um... I- What?" there was no way of fully describing the confusion that Ambrosia Hatton felt at that moment as her 'auntie' took her cheeks and turned her head from side-to-side, eyes scanning over every inch of her with fascinated, awestruck ruby-red eyes. Victoria smiled gently and it was greatly disconcerting for the human girl who had expected to be faced with rogue vampires who wanted to tear her limb from limb and drain her dry.

"Oh, Ambrosia. You must be so confused. And you're all wet! Riley, please go to the other house and check on everyone." Vicotria gestured for the man to leave with a swipe of her hand though her eyes never left Ambrosia where they stood in the rain. Ambrosia finally had a name for the man who had kidnapped her and when he vanished in a flash- somehow her anxiety only rose. At least Riley was upfront with his disliking for her- Victoria seemed... Deranged and that just made her increasingly terrifying. "Come inside"

The longer she thought about it, the more sense Ambrosia's terrified brain seemed to accumulate regarding the situation. Victoria had always been sweet to Ambrosia- as if she was her very own child and... This seemed as though it was a continuation of that. Partially, Ambrosia was relieved with the newfound knowledge that she wasn't brought there to die but the alternative was unknown as that point as she was forced into the pretty house.

"Victoria" she tried as they walked into a cosy sitting room area, Ambrosia was overly aware of the way she was involuntarily traipsing thick mud through the house due to the absence of a welcome mat but Vicotria didn't even respond to the development as she forced Ambrosia to sit, painfully red eyes staring deeply at her. "What am I doing here?"

"I rescued you" Victoria frowned deeply. "I rescued you from the filthy Cullen coven, Ambrosia! They took you away and they killed our James. They took him from us but it's okay because we're together now" she urged, taking Ambrosia's hands and the human unconsciously cringed away from the contact- alarming the vampire further. "Did they hurt you? I'll kill them, Ambrosia. They've destroyed our family!"

"What?" Ambrosia's voice was a ghost. She was a quiet person naturally but she wouldn't stand for people talking badly about her family- especially not the person who killed her parents. "No" she snatched her hands from the red-heads and took a step back. "No, Victoria. The Cullens saved me. They are my family. You aren't. You killed my parents! James tried to kill my friend. You and I aren't family, Victoria. We haven't been a family since you killed my mom and dad. I didn't need saving. Why-- Why are you trying to save me? You abandoned me throughout my entire life. Why come back now?"

"No, no Ambrosia. They've tainted you! I am your family, we are all one another has now. I am building us a new family, to protect us. They'll protect us. Don't you see? I wanted you! You're my baby, Rosia. You've always been my baby. And those idiotic parents of yours. They were just standing in the way! Don't you see, when we came back to Forks, we were coming back for you! James always promised me we'd come back for you" she stated somewhat dreamily and Ambrosia was incredibly disturbed by everything that the vampire was saying. Victoria thought, for some unknown reason, that because she was present throughout Ambroisa's childhood- that she was her family.

"I-I don't understand what you're talking about!" she was quickly growing hysteric through her confusion as she felt backed into a corner by the chaotic red-head. Victoria had gone absolutely insane, that much was more than slightly clear and she knew that this was the result of James' death. "I am not yours, Victoria. You killed my birth parents but Carlisle and Esme are my mom and dad now. They saved me! If you cared about me, you'd let me be with them" she returned with determination and quickly regretted it when she saw the nomads expression- It made Ambrosia's heart drop like a lead balloon. Because it wasn't Ambrosia necessarily that Victoria cared about- Victoria just didn't want to be alone. It was somewhat sad actually but Ambrosia's pity for the woman soaked up in an instant as Victoria screeched and grabbed her, hands wringing in her hair as she yanked her head to the side and bit down deep into her neck.

Ambrosia screeched in pain as teeth sliced easily through her skin and it was proof enough that Victoria didn't truly care about her. The human couldn't understand the mash of thoughts inside of the nomads head, all she could do was flail and panic, screeching at the top of her lungs as the blood was drained away from her. The pain was astronomical-- But it was the numbness that scared her the most because as the feeling of Vicotria's teeth became less prevalent in Ambrosia's mind... She knew that she was slipping.

Black spots danced across her vision and despite all the protests and screams Ambrosia Hatton released... Even she could not defeat the darkness...
