Their eyes met, and they stared together at each other, alone in space. Her shining green eyes that he had grown to picture in his mind whenever he could not see them for himself, were filled with such happiness- such elation, that he knew that the decision she had made could only have been a positive one. He didn't need to hear the words from her lips or hear them in her mind because the answer lay right before him- in her eyes. Ambrosia Hatton had done the impossible thing, the thing that signified just how much she loved him- She had chosen him.

It wasn't until she was in his arms, that the relief completely washed over him and Edward felt overwhelmed as he spun her around, showing his pure jubilation. She didn't need to tell him her decision because it was so brilliantly obvious as he slammed his lips to hers in the main room of the Cullen house, rain melting down beyond the great glass window. As he felt the soft pressure of her lips moving against his passionately- Edward knew that he would do anything for Ambrosia Hatton. He lived and would die for her.

"I love you" it was three words, so simple to say but so often untrue. As he looked deeply into the passionate eyes of the human- He knew that she spoke nothing but the absolute truth, she loved him. The feeling of love he bathed in was so simple, so perfect and everything was suddenly shone over with clarity. Edward finally understood how his family lived so happy despite their miserable immortal existence- It was love. Love was so often the answer to all life's happenings- he just did not expect it to be at that moment...

"You've made your decision?" he knew it could not have come easily to her, he could see the conflict in her eyes when he had first posed the options- but there was such certainty in her eyes now, that he didn't need to second guess her. Ambrosia was happy with this decision.

"I have waited twelve years for my family to come... Now that they finally have... How can I let them leave without me?" she spoke in such a hushed whisper because Ambrosia had always found something so intimate in the silence and Edward heard her perfectly well, and he held her calmly- His arms were carved in the image of her. "You have made me feel like the five-year-old girl in the yellow sparkly wellies, you made me feel as if I am her again, without all the misery. It is as if she finally got to grow up and the other person that I became- The quiet person that I became... she doesn't exist with you. Vampires ruined my life... And then vampires saved it. I'm ready, I have been waiting and I'm ready. I'm ready to get out of this miserable town and follow you wherever you choose to go. Because I love you. The first time we spoke in the library... We agreed... If something is meant to be- It will be. I'm not going to let our story end in tragedy."

It was perhaps the most words Ambrosia had ever said in one go but the strength and passion in them- as she stared directly into his golden eyes assured him that every single one of them was true. As he pulled her into another kiss- Physically incapable of keeping his hands off of her at that moment- A feeling rushed over him that he hadn't felt in almost a hundred years- Warmth.

"Rosia" The voice was so gentle but it held its own catalogue of emotions and despite how reluctant Edward was to release his hold on her- He let her go, for only a moment. Turning, Ambrosia's eyes fell upon the sparkling eyes of Rosalie Hale. The blonde girl had never appreciated her immortal life- Even with Emmett and all the love he provided. It always felt like something was missing, something that could make their lives complete... Ambrosia was that missing piece and the shy girl who was so often against social interaction- Went easily into Rosalie's arms.

Emmett had never seen his family so happy, he'd never seen Rosalie smile so brightly, he'd never seen Edward go such a long stretch of time without his permanent brooding frown. There were pure love and elation in Esme's eyes, and Carlisle swelled with happiness at the sight of it there. Ambrosia provided Jasper with the ability to have a human friend, despite all that had happened with Bella, Jasper felt strong with Ambrosia because even as they stood side-by-side on random occasions- He didn't desire the blood that pumped through her.

Ambrosia was the missing piece of the Cullen coven. The girl from the orphanage knew that the time was fast approaching where her joy with the Cullens would turn to sadness with her 'siblings' because the time was coming for the painful goodbyes that had made her decision so difficult. But as she hugged Rosalie, she knew once more that she had made the right decision.

Ambrosia didn't just choose Edward that day... She chose all of them. She chose the Cullens...
