Six Months Later...

"Where is he, Katherine?"

I have been searching for Dimitrius in this never-ending castle and still, I don't have a trace of where he could be. My mom, Katherine, and the three sorceresses took all their time to stall me from finding him.

"Will you just relax, Felicity? I told you, you shouldn't have any stress, " Katherine replied while making me sit back down on the chair that's been making my butt sore since I have been sitting on it for who knows long.

"My hair isn't even that long yet it looks like you're giving Rapunzel a makeover, " I whined. Katherine washed, dried, and now she's buying herself in making natural waves with waterfall braids on my hair.

"Oh, shut up, Felicity. Your hair looks amazing in my style, " she replied while adding the white diamond pins that made me look like wearing a beaded crown.

In the meantime, my mother gave me a cup of tea with calming herbs to keep my cool and not ruin everything they have been preparing for. "Mom, stop crying, " I said and looked at her with a genuine expression.

She wiped her tears with a cloth and tapped my shoulder, "Oh dear, I must be getting old. These are tears of joy, I can't stop them from coming."

Today's the day. Even myself couldn't believe how much has happened since my life completely changed. Some may say that most of the things that happened were bad but I would rather think of them as hurdles in my journey.

A year ago, I would laugh at my own words when I would even dare to call myself as a queen. Tight dresses, high-heels, heavy crowns, proper manners, everything that was about royalty was what I hated.

The responsibilities, the leadership, all I ever dreamed of was being a normal kid. I grew up learning how to walk with books on my head. I learned my education ten times faster as it should have been. I ate almost nothing every day because I had to look beautiful in all my curves for the eyes of everyone else.

Whenever I think of it, it's as if I never had a life.

But I met someone special. Someone who changed my entire life completely. He gave me something that I never received from anyone else. He showed me that I was capable of being loved and accepted for who I truly am.

He gave me the unconditional love that made my knees weak at the sight of him. The love that sent shivers by his soft and gentle touch. His love that made my ears hear melodies at his voice. He loved me so much that whenever I am with him, all I see is our future together.

Dimitrius Stone showed me that despite the scars around my body, the tragedies that haunt my mind every night, the insecurities that surround my soul every day, I am someone that is not a lost cause.

He never saw me as someone broken, weak, nor ugly. I was someone to Dimitrius that no one has ever seen. To everyone, I was a shadow of my mother, successor of the Lowell kingdom.

But to Dimitrius, I was someone of my own.

Back then, I would have never guessed for a second that I would have that much love from someone else, I wouldn't have thought that I would love too deep, too big, that the ocean isn't enough to express how much King Dimitrius Stone means to Queen Felicity Lowell.

"You look beyond beautiful, " Odette whispered while clasping the vervain necklace on my neck. For years, this piece of jewelry meant nothing but a protection to me. It was always there in case any vampire comes to harm me. Now, I believe that I don't need it anymore.

"No, " I smiled and held the pendant. "It's mine to keep but not to wear." Slowly, I removed the gem that gave me assurance that whatever may happen, there will be something I can use to defend myself but this time, I have someone by my side to shield me from the dangers that life decides to throw upon my way.

Someone who will be there to hold me when I am scared, to heal my scars when I am wounded, to cherish me, care for me, and live the rest of his life to love me forever.

"You've grown into such a beautiful and strong woman, Felicity, " Katherine said with sincerity in her heart. "Despite everything you went through, your light never faded, you shine brighter than the angels, no wonder that you attracted even the darkest ones."

"Thank you, Katherine, " I whispered back, trying to get a hold of all the emotions. Today is really happening. The day I never thought this day would come to my life. A day that only princesses dream about. I thought they were just parts of fantasies, fairy tales, myths but now is all about reality.

I stood up from the chair, careful not to ruin my hair, which Katherine fixed for like an eternity. Then, I slowly slipped off my robe and put the last missing piece.

The dress that I will wear as I walk down the aisle.

One piece of clothing that I would never thought that I would be able to wear. Something so plain yet will hold too many amazing memories.

Simple. Elegant. Beautiful. Three words to describe the gown that my own mother made for me. White, symbolizing purity and light, the light to a new journey with my soon to be, partner in life.

I'm ready.

Ready to be the queen.

Queen Felicity Lowell-Stone

Ruler of all Humans, Vampires, Sorceresses.

Most of all,

The Queen of King Dimitrius Stone.

Slowly, I stepped out of the room and found everyone in tears. "You look just like your mother, " someone said. I looked to see that it was Feliana, the person who I looked up to as my mother before I knew my biological mom.

"Thank you for taking care of me all these years, " I smiled and gave her a hug. "We may haven't been ordinary mother and daughter but I owe you my life of royalty." Even if my life and journey were rough, Felianna, Tyler, and Jonathan were there for me.

"I'm sorry for eve-" I stopped her before letting her finish the sentence. Now is not the time to say our regrets because today's the start of a new chapter in all our lives.

The Coronation and The Wedding.

Both as one event will mark the past as history. After this day, I'll no longer be the girl who hated not having a childhood, who missed a life that was filled with love and family, who was scarred by the evil Dominic and Seraphina. I will be the woman, the queen, the Felicity that will love and cherish Dimitrius for the eternity of both our lives.

"I love you, mother." A tear slipped from my eyes as I tightened my hug on Felianna. "No matter what happens, you'll still be my mom, " I added. Felianna sobbed as I walked in front of my real mother.

"And you, mom. All these years, even without knowing who you really were, I always felt and cherished the love and care you unconditionally gave me. Thank you for being there, thank you for never leaving my side, " I sobbed.

"I am proud and honored to be your mother, Felicity. Your dad would have been so proud too, " she said with tears falling. "This day's been nothing but an emotional ride. I say, let's stop these tears, look beautiful, and let's start the most awaited event of this day."

Katherine and Odette let out a small chuckle as they wiped their tears. "I'll start ringing the bells, Felicity, I'll see you at the aisle, " Odette said as she kissed my cheek.

Before Katherine left, she looked at me in the eyes and said the exact same words she once said during the day before the coronation night in the palace, "I'm happy that you'll be our Queen soon, Princess Felicity."

It brought me back to the time when I helped Katherine from being poorly beaten and punished by Jonathan, when she was tied down by certain ropes and lashed until her skin didn't heal as fast as a vampire does.

Before I could say anything toying else, everyone exited the room as I held the small white bouquet of roses in my hands, white roses with drops of red blood to honor Rosaleen Braxton Stone. The girl whom Dimitrius loved so deeply, the sister who he lost, the one who gave me my special gift, the gift of vision.

Slowly, I stepped out of the room and was greeted by another familiar happening in the past. "I shall be your escort for today, " A man on his tuxedo humbly bowed. He held out his hand which I hesitantly held. "Thank you, Hayden." The man that Dimitrius considers as a brother more than just his second-in-command.

We walked to the hallway and it didn't take long before I faced the two doors that will soon open my way to the man I love, the one whom I will wake up to every morning, sleep in his arms every night, cry on his shoulders for every pain, laugh for every happy moment and most of all, spend the rest of my life for as long as we both shall live.

"Are you ready, Felicity?" Hayden asked. I gripped the flowers tighter, sucked a deep breath, looked forward and closed my eyes before answering,

"I was born ready."

So the doors opened revealing the red carpet trailed with rose petals, the beautiful chandeliers that hung in the ceiling, the chairs filled with many people and supernatural creatures.

The decor made by Katherine surely passed more than way what I had expected. A simple ballroom turned into a mesmerizing place filled with the different colors of my favorite flowers.

My ears listened to the soft humming music of the song that Dimitrius first played in the violin for me to hear.

But most of all, my eyes didn't stop the tears from falling as soon as I saw Dimitrius standing in his handsome wedding suit, holding his handkerchief, wiping his teary eyes.

I slowly took my steps and walked down the aisle, focusing my eyes on him, never wanting to look away. My tears fell as my heart sunk deeper, feeling so lucky to have him in my life.

Funny how a fearful and strong vampire he is known to all yet here we were, eyes full of tears because it felt like we were both in the happiest moment, a moment where only love floats in the air.

My eyes looked at his lips, reading the words he mouthed, 'I love you'

Without any more second, I stopped right in front of him, interlocked my shaking arm with his as I replied, 'I love you'

Then, we faced the elder that will unite us for this marriage ceremony, the event that everyone awaited, the time when all our lives would change, forever.

Today, I'll no longer be Queen Felicity Lowell

I will be the Queen of Dimitrius Stone,

Queen Felicity Lowell-Stone
