《Captured By The King》Thirty-six • Angel

As we both exited Dimitrius' castle, I was hit by the cool and fresh breeze. I know that after the horrific incident with Dominic, my skin hasn't felt the sun for days. I've been locked up with nothing but the darkness yet still, he didn't win. I would have never let him.
"Are you ready to go?" Dimitrius asked me while he held his hand out which I gratefully took. His hands felt soft and smooth, he squeezed mine and pulled me to his arms where I met his hard chest. "This will be fast," he whispered before I felt something painful in my head.
I thought that after I blinked, we were already in the human kingdom but we were still in the same place. My head was throbbing it felt like needles puncturing my skin.
"Dimitrius," I hissed out in pain and gripped his arm tighter. "It hurts so much," I said and his replies were muffled. I held my head in my hands as I felt myself fall into Dimitrius' arms.
Then, another agonizing second passed and my eyes opened. I was no longer where we were, I was in a room, a familiar one. I looked at the walls, the bed, and everything made sense, I was in my room, in the Lowell Kingdom but Dimitrius was nowhere in sight.
Slowly, I walked towards the door and opened it, the halls were the same, there were servants passing by while I quickly realized, they weren't just any servants, they were the vampire slaves.
All of them glared at me, I heard screams which I followed and led me to Jonathan's room. I didn't have to hear twice, I knew it was Katherine's voice.
When I opened the door, Jonathan was roughly forcing himself on her while Katherine was tied down by ropes that burned through her skin. "Stop!" I screamed but he didn't seem to hear me. "Jonathan, please stop!" My voice was cracking.
Katherine looked at me while the tears in her eyes stopped. She whispered something that went straight through my heart,
"This was all your fault."
I ran towards them and tried to push him away. Instead, I was faced into another situation. My eyes scanned the area and quickly realized it was a forest, the heavy rainfall dripped on my head while thunders roared in the sky.
"Lorenzo!" Someone screamed. Again, her voice was familiar. She screamed a name which I couldn't understand. I followed the sounds of her screams and saw Odette. She was crying while her hands held a fire barrier, protecting wolves and witches inside.

"Lorenzo, where's my child!" She screamed and there he came, in a wolf form, with blood splattered all over his fur. It only took one look from his eyes to tell Odette that her child was no longer safe.
She dropped to the ground and sobbed until an uproarious scream echoed through the whole dark forest. The lightning became louder, the night cried blood, this was the night of the prophecy.
When Odette locked eye contact with me, her sobs ceased and she mumbled something to me,
"This was all your fault."
I stepped away from them, not wanting to witness anything anymore. After that, I appeared in a dark alley, I saw a girl walking, she was beautiful, her features were hard to see in the dark but the way she walked and the curves of her body that was shadowed by the moon, it made her look alluring.
While she was walking, a man suddenly came in front of her and she screamed. I knew who he was, none other than Dominic. "Get away from me!" She cried while Dominic grabbed her shoulders, steadying her as if he was preparing her for something.
"Don't move. Follow everything as I will say," he said and just like that, the girl became a puppet to his orders. I followed them until they reached a cabin, the girl no longer protested for she was under his compulsion.
"Give this message to Dimitrius and look in his eye, shed a tear, and die."
Immediately, I ran towards the girl. "Rosaleen, no!" I screamed while trying to stop her from walking towards the kingdom of Dimitrius. She was so fast that I couldn't catch up anymore. When I entered the castle, Dimitrius and Katherine laid on the floor while a lifeless Rosaleen bled in his arms.
Dimitrius cried tears while Katherine shook and stayed silent. I could almost feel their pain, the loss of someone you love. Then, Dimitrius looked in my eyes and said,
"This was all your fault."
I thought that after killing Dominic, everything would be over but I was wrong. Killing him didn't wipe out the evil. He wasn't the one I was supposed to defeat, it was the demons.
This was just the beginning.
Something was still out there, haunting me, blaming me for things that I have not done. Back then, I was just a girl, blinded and oblivious to the cruel side of this world. I never knew what was really happening.
Dominic was just a pawn to this game. I am not battling him, he was just possessed. Jonathan was a part of it too. Alpha Lorenzo was also used. I saw it with my own eyes.

As they did all those things, only one registered to me. Their eye colors were all the same. Black, the color of darkness and evil. I was opened to the deeper truth.
Not only vampires, witches, and wolves existed. Demons are here too and as I looked once more, I faced a mirror, reflecting a girl. She wore a white dress while her eyes shined gold. Who is she?
I stepped closer and my hands touched the glass, she smiled at me while white wings spread from her back. It was magnificent, she was beautiful.
She wasn't me because I would have known the moment I saw my little self and that she has a mark on her shoulder that looked like a crown. Although she looked somehow familiar, I still couldn't put a finger on it.
"Hi, little girl," I whispered, hoping for her to hear me. "Who are you?" I asked while still looking at her in the mirror.
"I'm your angel, mommy."
Just like that, everything disappeared. The pain that pounded in my head was replaced by a cool feeling. My hands quickly touched it and realized that a cloth was placed on me.
What was all of those that I just saw? The blame, the demon, and even, the girl. She called me her mommy, something I would have never thought that I would have heard.
I looked at where I was and my hands felt trapped. It was intertwined with Dimitrius' while his head was down on the bed. He looked so peaceful in his slumber. Slowly, I took my hands away from him but he gripped tighter.
His eyes shot wide open and he looked at me. "You're okay," he sighed while his worry evident in his eyes. "I was so worried, Felicity. You kept on telling me it was painful and you were shouting that it was all your fault."
I caressed his cheek with my other hand and smiled, "I'm fine now, Dimitrius."
"Then, I held your hand to ease the pain, to make it go away but you stopped. Suddenly your contorted face turned peaceful, you spoke softly and I just closed my eyes. I-I saw it, Felicity, that girl, the angel, she's so beautiful, just like you," he almost whispered.
"It's a vision, isn't it?" I asked which he nodded but he still looked worried. "She's an angel, Dimitrius," I whispered happily while reminiscing her wings, her face.
"Felicity, I have to tell you something," he nervously said. When I looked at him and gave him my full attention he said, "she's our future child."
My heart pounded when he said that. It wasn't really a bad thing that he would be the father of my child but having a child wasn't really my plan anytime soon, especially since I haven't done anything sexual in my life yet.
"How did you know?" I asked him nervously and he began taking off his shirt. "What are you doing?" I asked but he just fully took it off and that's when I noticed, he had the same crown mark that the little girl had.
"She has the mark of a Stone," he simply said and I couldn't help but touch his mark. It wasn't a tattoo because it looked so much darker than it. It was probably just an excuse to touch him but as I got closer I noticed a word encrypted under his mark.
"Bellator"
"It means a warrior," I said and he nodded. "Why do you seem nervous about it?" I asked and then, he replied with something that scared me, "Because before you bear the mark of a Stone, you must face a trial in which you will have to face and kill a demon with your own hands."
"You will train our child, Dimitrius, she will be strong, just like you," I reassured him but he shook his head, "She's something darker than the light of an angel, Felicity. To kill means to taint yourself with evil, angels are pure innocence."
"Then what could our child possibly be?" I asked him and he whispered,
"Just like you. A girl from another birth of a prophecy."
