We enter the lodge to get on slopes. I was standing next to my mom and dad when Ashley's parents walked in.

"Hi honey." Ashley mom said.

"Hi." I respond with a smile.

"How you doing today son?" His father hit me on back. Damn he is strong.

"Good. I'm just ready to get on."

"Remember that time Robert we came up here?" Ashley father said to my dad.

"Do I-"

"Dad I don't want to hear any sex stories." I said cover my ears. "Me neither." My mom said hitting my dad in chest. We all started laughing then Ashley walked in. I stopped laughing.

Surprisingly he was by himself.

"What's so funny?" He said approaching us.

"Nothing som. Where's Missy?" His dad said.

"She's with her parents. She'll come for dinner though." They nodded theit heads.

"Okay well that means you and Scar will go up together." My eyes widen. I didn't even want to look at him let alone be next to him.

"Actually I don't feel well. I'm going back to the cabin." My mom gave me hug and my dad looked at me suspiciously.

I walked off and I heard my name. I know that voice all to well. I stop and stood still.

"Why you avoiding me and ignoring me?" He said.

"I'm not ignoring you." I said. I tried to walked off but he step in front of me.

"Look Scar-"

"It's Scarlet." I said to him looking up. "Don't call me Scar." He took a deep breath. The look he gave me was like I just told him I killed his mom. He looked so devastated. He look defeated.

He nod his head. He took a big deep breath.

"Scarlet I-"

"Babe!!!!" I heard voice behind me it was Missy.

I signed of course and walked away. It was not point in staying there. She was going ignore me and he was going act like everything was okay.

My parents decided we should all go out to dinner. Of course I wasn't sitting next to Ashley. While we were looking over the menu my phone vibrated.

I rolled my eyes.

"Who are you texting?" Missy asked Ashley.

He cleared his throat.

"No one." He said putting his phone away.

"How's Adam?" My dad asked me.

"He's fine." I said.

"Who's Adam?" Missy asked.

"None of your business." I spit at her.

"Honey!" My mom yelled at me.

"What ??!? it's none of her damn business."

Ashley slammed on table.

"Don't talk to my girlfriend like that!" My eyes widen. He just yelled at me?

"What did you say?" I asked standing up.

"Don't fucking yell at my girlfriend!" His mom grabbed his arm.

"You mean that fucking whore!" I said pointing to her.

"I'm a whore? At least I'm not in love with my best friend!" She yelled. I couldn't breathe. Ashley stopped yelling and I stop yelling. We just stood there and looked at each other.

I couldn't help the water that was filling my eyes.

"Y-you are in love with m-me?" He stuttered out. My eyes widen. I didn't know what to say.

"Of course he is! Look he doesn't deny it."

"Shut up you stupid bitch!" I yelled.

"Scarlet!!!" My mom yelled at me.

"You are such a fucking idiot!" I spat at Ashley.

"I'm the idiot I don't know why I was ever friends with you!"

"Son!!" His dad yelled.

I scoffed and I walked out.

I hate him so much. I couldn't contain my tears that was falling from my eyes.

I was sitting outside on the balcony with jacket and cup of cocoa. I was by myself. I heard the door open and saw my dad.

"Are you okay son?" He asked sitting next to me.

"Yes." He came over and hug me. "I didn't know I'm sorry." He said.

"It's not your fault. It's my fault. I hate him so much." I said to my said.

"How do you feel?" He asked pulling apart.

"Nothing." I said. "I feel empty. I feel just empty."

He gave me one more hug and got up.

"Dad please don't kick his ass." He turn back and smiled at me. "You still love him." It wasn't a question is was statement then he walked back in house.

I was completely drain and I need to text Adam. My annoying new friend.

I got up and walk to my room but I hear Ashley voice yelling.

"Son sit down!" He yelled. "Calm down!"

"No, dad I want him out of my life!!" I stood at the doorway shocked. He wanted me out of his life.

"Y-you w-want m-me gone?" I stuttered out. Tears was just falling from my face to floor.

"Scarlett he didn't mean that." His dad said walking to door. I walked away. He didn't say anything he just looked at me shock. Not that I was standing there, but at what he said.

He wants me to be gone? He wants me out of his life?

"Okay. I'll be out of his life." I said to myself as I walked to my room.
