A/N - A quick upload before I finally get to sleep, also if anyone wants to suggest any ideas for pregnancy headcannons feel free to ask! ❤❤❤
-----
· Dwayne had been hands on and precautious through out your pregnancy. There was nothing he hadn't been prepared for, even the heart breaking despite his lack of focus on the bad. Overall he was unsure of what to expect given it wasn't a normal birth. It seemed like the perfect time to have you turn the moment you both found out but he respected your wishes enough to let you turn when you were ready.
· Instead of the blood, you had insisted on staying human along as possible despite the strange symptoms you experienced since learning of your pregnancy. Sunsets were a comfort of yours to watch whenever the baby wasn't draining your energy in the mornings or whenever Dwayne had released his sleepy hold on you.
· Dwayne had spent the pregnancy learning enough about normal pregnancies up to the point where he helped you make a birth plan- unfortunately it meant staying in the cave when you got to the 7th month mark. If you craved a certain food, either Dwayne or one of the boys would gladly get you it in bulk. Everything else had been provided so that you were covered and he even went as far as to sleep in your shared nest every night as well as stick himself to yourself whenever he could.
· Unfortunately, his books and preparation hadn't prepared him for when things took a turn for the worst. He had to leave you in the care of the boys to go feed and as luck had it, that was when your water had broke.
· Despite his hurry back to the cave, he had missed the initial stages of labour and his instincts kicked in. Dwayne would growl at the boys around you only to calm down once he was at your side. David was trusted to help between your legs but even he knew that Dwayne was going to want to be there.

· Dwayne hates seeing you in pain with nothing he can do. There was an overwhelming stench of blood along with clothes stained red under your rump. It seemed their couch was getting a redecoration. The first thing Dwayne does is allow you to squeeze his hand to deal with the pain along with going over breathing exercises. He makes you look into his eyes as he coaxes you through it, hypnosis making it's way to the surface but only slightly to relieve some of the burden of labour. For someone under pressure he was awful quick to remember the plan and what you agreed he could do.
· The baby squeezes itself slowly outside of your painfully stretched entrance to the point where Dwayne grows worried. The skin colour didn't look normal and then there was a cord, it was wrapped around the babe’s neck causing more stress. Dwayne would curse, warn you and ask the boys to take over letting you squeeze their hands.
· With a quick apology, he gently grips the cord and with a slanted nail, he cuts the fleshy binding as clean as he could. The baby was free all you had to do was push he insisted.
· Dwayne knew it wasn't over yet, a few laboured pushes later and you began to whimper, your breathing becoming worryingly irregular. You weren't getting enough oxygen and before he could prevent it, you had passed out. It’s a tough decision but he knew then that you were beyond labour. Urging his baby out he quickly handed the babe to Marko and pressed his forehead to yours with his eyes closed. Reaching out through the very thin mate bond was his last resort before the bottle. He tried to call out to you but it wasn't working. “Please. I know you're in their. Come back, awaken, princess. I don't want you to miss this- our girl.”

· Only his plea is met with the grim hand touching his shoulder and David trying to break the news, “I don't think she's coming back.” He stated gently, knowing how close Dwayne was to snapping. The emotions were high and the possible news threw him into denial. Dwayne wept into your neck, arms wrapping around you to hold you close. He had acted too slow and blamed himself.
· It lingers with him after the respectful burial the boys had given you. Since then, he had kept all of your possessions and held onto a few locks of your hair just to torture himself with your scent. He knew mates could reincarnate but it wasn't the same. The next mate he comes across wouldn't truly be you.
· In the end Dwayne internalizes his grief so that he can hold himself together for the baby- your baby. The boys can only do so much and despite their wariness around the brunette, he held firm that he wanted to be there. Dwayne would stick with the name you had picked along with making your favourite flower as their middle name before giving his last name. It was a perfect name, one that was both bittersweet and also a loving connection between the three.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14

The original version of the first book was published on RR in 2019 and has since seen multiple revisions based on reader feedback with this one as the final and official fourth version before the second book. While the entire series story has undergone major changes in the last year, all books have been planned since the beginning of writing. It is also my second wish to eventually make this story into a webcomic, either by myself or with a team if possible. Thank you for taking this journey with me, and enjoy reading! ( You can alternatively read books in the series as standalone fictions, but they connect to one another though a running theme and mystery that evolves and progresses with the main character. ) Alternate Blurb for the Singularity Cycle series: Essairyn had never felt truly alive on Earth. It felt like something was missing ever since she was born, but even after nearly 20 years of mundane living, she could never pinpoint what this or the emptiness in her heart was. Suddenly, she awakens in a grandiose, primordial forest and encounters mythical creatures beyond her restless imagination in a parallel world called Sol'h'meyr. She befriends, in particular, a sassy fox-spirit named Akari who reincarnated after three millennia. Essairyn is gifted with abnormal magic, and Akari is being chased by those of her dark past. Together, they set out on an adventure in a world more dangerous than its beautiful facade could hide. Finding new friends along a path riddled with tragedy, Essairyn must learn who to trust as deceit and betrayal lie behind kindly faces. Life in this deceptively promising world slowly spirals down a path of no return. This is not a game, but cruel reality. Her simple adventure became the modest beginnings in a chain of disruptions that tore even the dimensional fabric of time and space. No one, not even Essairyn, was who she thought they were. And not even the fickle gods could change the time-worn destiny of the universes... A single promise shook eternity’s existence.
