"Ok well at least try not to get mad" Raven said in a joking manner.

"Ok fine I'll try!" Beast Boy replied.

"So my dream was based on when Aqualad kidnapped me for the first time, but it was different from the real thing..." Raven explained.

"I think it was the atmosphere and just Aqualad himself. He was... different"

"How so?"

"He was just more aggressive is what I would say. He ran towards me and basically-"

Raven paused for a moment. She felt a knot form in her throat and she began breathing heavily. She didn't know how Beast Boy would react to her saying what she was about to say...

She knew that her dream wasn't real but it felt like it was. Just thinking about it made her choke up. Feeling powerless in such a situation like that terrified Raven to a deep extent.

She only had a little more time before Beast Boy asked her what was wrong. He just stared at her waiting for her to speak and she could tell he was getting worried. She had to say something.

"He... He basically raped me." Raven said quickly.

Silence then filled the room, but at the same time, the silence felt so loud. Raven just sat there waiting while the anticipation was slowly killing her. But when Beast Boy finally reacted, he gave not a look of disappointment but anger.

"WHAT!? YOU GOT SENT THAT IN A DREAM!? THAT'S JUST MESSED UP! THAT COULD DO A LOT TO A PERSON!" Beast Boy yelled.

Raven widened her eyes in shock and could only sit there feeling stupid for ever thinking the Beast Boy in her dream and the real one were even a little bit alike.

Meanwhile, Beast Boy was trying not to explode. He looked like he needed something to cope so he grabbed a pillow laying on the floor and squeezed it fairly hard between his arms.

"Now that is some major bullsh*t!" Beast Boy stated as he squeezed the pillow tighter.

"Yeah I know. And that's why I was crying yesterday when we were in the Med-Bay. It really took a tole on me for some reason"

"Oh well it's good that you finally got it out Rae! I was really worried about you ya know?"

This made Raven blush slightly. She didn't even know why it did. His concern made her feel... loved.? It was puzzling to say the least and all she could do was look down in relief.

After getting out all his frustration, Beast Boy finally let go of the pillow and noticed Raven looking down at the floor.

"Hey Rae?"

"Yeah?" Raven said as she looked up at him.

"Ummmm, can I... hug you?"

Not hating the idea, Raven agreed to this act of affection and pretty soon the two had their arms wrapped around one another.

All Beast Boy could do was smile in that moment. He, for some reason, loved hugging Raven. Not only did she feel nice in his arms, but she made him feel calm in hers. It was like she was putting him under a spell.

Then he felt that Raven relax her muscles and it made the hug so much more comforting. How could he have ever met someone as incredible as her?

Though she had her flaws, they seemed to disappear once Beast Boy realized all the goods things about Raven. Never would he think in a million years would he find what he thought to be his soulmate.

As their hug progressed, the both of them thought:

*Why can't we just go on a date? It shouldn't be too hard to ask them right? But would they even say yes is a better question. I guess I have to find out*
