Once home, everyone quickly escorted Raven to the Med-Bay. It was a bit embarrassing deeming that nothing seemed wrong at first glance. But boy was she wrong.

It turned out that her eyes were dehydrated and dry, she had rope burns, she was exhausted, and her lungs still had to salt water in them, making it harder to breathe.

Cyborg led her to a bed and began treating her. It took about an hour or so to properly treat the burns and get her breathing under control. All that was left were her eyes.

"Ok we just need to hydrate them peepers and then you're all set for some much needed shut eye!" Cyborg stated as he finished bandaging Raven's arms.

Cyborg then tilted her head back, dripping some eye drops in her eyes. Finally, she had some more relief.

Raven would end up having to stay in the Med-Bay overnight with Cyborg occasionally checking up on her. She layed on the bed she was sitting on and tried resting her eyes.

She was too tired to stay up right. It had been a long day. Laying on the bed, she realized that Beast Boy had been in the room the entire time. And he was still in his swim trunks.

He wouldn't leave her side. Even to take a shower or eat dinner. It was so unlike him. He just sat there at the side of the bed gripping her hand as she rested her eyes. His touch was comforting and she felt herself going to sleep.

"Who did it?" Beast Boy suddenly snarled, "I need to know."

Raven opened her eyes in surprise and saw what she thought to be the angriest Beast Boy she'd ever seen. His eyes almost looked blood red from anger as he glared at the floor.

"You wouldn't know him..." Raven replied slowly.

"And you do!?" Beast Boy questioned, "And it's a guy!? HE'S DEAD! I need a name and now before I loose it!"

"Ok, ok! His name is... Aqualad..." Raven said.

"Wait a minute... Is he a hero!? That's sounds like a hero name... Why would he do that!?" Beast Boy questioned in shock.

"He gave me an explanation but I'm telling you later when you're less of a train wreck waiting to happen" Raven said calmly.

"Fine I'll wait!" Beast Boy pouted, loosing the red in his eyes.

This made Raven giggle as she closed her eyes again. She had a small smile on her face that showed her teeth a little. This made the green boy blush at her.

*That was so adorable!* Beast Boy thought to himself, *I wish I could cuddle you right now Rae, but you have to get better first! And that's something I can wait for!*

"Garfield..." Raven called half asleep.

Beast Boy surprised by the first name calling again answered:

"Yes Rae?"

"Could you promise me... promise me that when I tell you everything you won't just go off to find Aqualad without thinking?"

Beast Boy hesitated at what she had just said but eventually replied with:

"Of course Rae! I can do that!"

"Promise?" Raven asked.

"Promise!"

And as Beast Boy said that, Raven fell fast asleep with their hands still intertwined. He loved her so much, but... how could he tell her?
