Ready to get in the water, everyone greeted Bumble Bee and either grabbed a surf board or floaty to get in the water with.

The water was cool and clear and they began playing around. Bumble Bee and Starfire splashed around and and played all sorts of games like swimming contests. Meanwhile, Cyborg and Beast Boy tried catching some waves to surf on.

They all were laughing and seemed to be having fun. It brought a smile to Raven's face which would usually be on the sand with her nose in a book.

Raven got in the water this time around but she still wanted more of a calm day. Therefore, she got a floaty just to watch everyone else and planned on swimming later in the day.

Robin seemed to have the same idea as he floated up right next to her. They then began chatting about all sorts of things. The team's strengths and weaknesses, the tower's condition over the years, him and Star's relationship. Those sort of things.

It was going well, but after a while, it was all smashed to pieces. The waves grew to the size of mountains out of nowhere and it looked like a tsunami was about to hit them.

They all were pretty far out deeming that it was unlikely any of them would drown, but it still surprised them. The waves weren't big enough to reach their stuff on land though.

Suspicion then grew on all their faces as they looked at the waves and stopped what they were doing. The waves wouldn't just grow that much in size so rapidly.

Raven and Robin braced for impact as a wave came crashing down on them. But as it was folding over, Raven felt herself being pulled under the water. It didn't feel like a plant or an animal, but a... person.

Their hand had grabbed her ankle and was pulling her below. Raven tried to get a look at who it was but the salty water only burned her eyes as she got pulled down deeper and deeper.

She had no choice but to fight as she was running out of air struggling to escape their grasp.

*What is going on!? Whose pulling me!?*Raven questioned in a panic, *They're going to drown me at this rate!*

Raven then tried to fly up or use any of her powers to escape to the surface but it only got farther and farther away. Plunging her in darkness.

It felt almost familiar in a way. Not physically, but mentally. Her father had shrouded her in darkness and dispair her whole life so she would turn out just like him. But the half human in her wouldn't let that be possible. Even the idea of having endless power made her sick.

She had been saved by the love of her friends and mother's beliefs. But right now, it felt like nobody was coming to the rescue.

*Why aren't my powers working!?* Raven panicked, *Is the water messing with my concentration!?*

Slowly but surely, Raven lost consciousness thinking she was about to die. She didn't even get the chance to tell Beast Boy how she really felt or say goodbye to all her friends. Going out sad and alone would be the worst fate.

And as though she was about to take her last breath, she was suddenly choked on air. On her knees, she held her throat with blurry vision and tried to comprehend what had just happened.

Raven's eyes burned with salt as she saw a human like figure walking towards her. She couldn't make out much but what seemed to be a blue body suit and long black hair.

She started preparing herself for the worst. Who could is possibly be?
