First of all, thank you for giving this story a chance! I hope it will charm you no less than it charmed me as I was discovering the dangerous and alluring world of demons and witches.
This is something completely new for me. In the style of writing, in the genre, in the emotions I'm trying to experience through my characters. This story is a dark fantasy about, well, fantasy. But it's also about the world just like ours-sometimes cruel, sometimes unjust, sometimes sad, but always hopeful. And, of course, this is a story about darkness, magic, and... love.
True, I write this story for myself. I learn things from my characters, I explore the world with them. They give me strength and resolve and remind me we can never give up. But what this story has turned into is not just for me. It is for everyone who's seeking their way between right and wrong, hovering on the line between heroes and villains. Discovering that there's no line.
Because as long as we're alive, we're all light and darkness together.
Sorry for grammar mistakes and misspellings if you stumble upon such, and let me know so I can make the story better! This is merely a draft, and I'm always happy to hear reasonable criticism.
Please, do comment and vote so I can see you're interested in reading more, so that I know that I need to fight my procrastinating nature and open my laptop and publish another chapter. It's easy for a reader, yet it means the world to a writer. Nothing is as inspiring as your support!

And now--
Welcome to the wicked city of St. Daktalion. It turns heroes into villains and saints into witches.

Other Tales of En
Welcome to The Other Tales of En, a place where I put short stories that didn't get to be told in the main series. These are scenes and tales of characters I just had to have more of, moments I needed to see, and self-indulgent interactions. I hope you love them as much as I do! Chapters are labelled with initials of the Tale first and have notes for their beginning and end. Any chance of spoilers are listed for each tale below as well as their initials. TABLE OF CONTENTS Tale 1: Taff and Adon (T&A) The tale of when Taff and Adon first met. Slight spoilers for Starchild but not really, let's just say Adon's version of the story in Stormspeaker wasn't *quite* accurate ;) Tale 2: Vai and Echa (V&E) The tale of the meeting everyone tried to prevent. It was bound to happen and this is how it went. Spoilers for Children of the Bear, particularly Fiona's Tale, I recommend reading when you are finished with that series. Tale 3 [IN PROGRESS]: Echa and Tryst (E&T) The tale of how the cowardly pirate and the bitter slave fell in love.

Origin of Evil
The world is in a state of turmoil and upheaval. The religious fanatics hailing from the desert city-state of Kenan have completed a war of conquest against their neighbors, the ancient kingdom of Forelia. The Forelian capital has been razed to the ground and looted, its people sold into slavery. Gideon is a skilled warrior fighting for the Singing Blades, a mercenary warband led by Gideon's father, who have been contracted by the Kenanite king to fight on his behalf. When the Singing Blades are annihilated on a patrol, Gideon is cast adrift to find new purpose in a world bereft of justice. But fate has taken notice of Gideon. He is destined to meet and train the woman who will restore balance to the world, at the point of a sword. Cold steel will shed gallons of red blood in this novel about bravery and the cost of heroism. Please leave comments or reviews with criticism! I'm posting this explicitly for that purpose, so anything you have to say is very welcome. Updates every Thursday. Maybe. Depends on if I think the chapter is ready.

2173: Akro-Mars Second Conflict
It's been some long 30 years since the complete self-isolation of earth's technological capital "Akro" from the rest of the world as caused by the rebel's staggering take-over operation, which also took over the Mars international colony in a simultaneous struggle. But peace finally wavers as the self-proclaimed King of the Machinery, apparently the supreme leader of Akro, suddenly announces to the whole world that whoever retrieves his daughter to the palace can make whatever they want with the gigantic and advanced city, all the while revealing that the one successful operation from the rebels in those fateful days 30 years ago, took place in Mars and Mars only. Watch the former rebel soldier Myke Laine, who knows very well where the King's daughter is, in his nostalgic journey.
