《Snow And Ice》Jade ~Ice~

"AGAIN!" came a yell. "YOU DID IT AGAIN!" Jade sighed and looked at Sapphire. The girls both agreed with their older sister that their younger brothers were annoying, but sometimes Aurora got a little over the top with yelling. Jade could cope with the boys mucking around, she could cope with rituals and chants going wrong. The one thing she couldn't cope with was prisoners escaping. She leant back against the cave wall as Aurora came over.
"They never behave," said Sapphire.
"I know!" huffed Aurora. Nightshade, Winner and Red were the least well behaved group of 11 year olds on the planet. Sapphire was 12, only a year older and so much more mature. She was 13 and was the warrior in the group, rarely found without her sword in hand. It was a beautiful sword with a green gem glittering on the golden hilt. Its silver blade was different to Winner's. His was chunkier. Hers was thin and matched her sister's. Sapphire's was the exact same as hers but with a green gem. The siblings all wore their allocated colour. Aurora was the oldest child but the two lines of purple next to her eye meant she couldn't take the main colour, so was given purple when she was born. She was still very much in charge. Jade herself had been given green as she was second born and green was the main colour, meant for the oldest child. Sapphire had gotten lucky with the beautiful colour of blue and when their brothers were born they had been given all that remained. When the lights shone brightly with all the colours and patterns it was because her brothers were actually doing as they were told. Rede, who was red, Nightshade with black and Winner with gold hardly showed the world their colours. She was the main shiner at the moment because her sister always had to deal with them. She wanted to help but had been told her colour was the brightest. Often they just gave up and joined in. Jade still hated being the main colour, it controlled her, making her responsible for the shine every night. Often Sapphire would offer to take over so there had been a lot more blue lately, but tonight they were all planning to do it.

"Let's get the chant ready" sighed Aurora.
"Well, more of a ritual really" said Sapphire as they walked to the pedestal. Jade placed her hands onto the clear stone sitting on the pedestal and it began to hum with green light. She looked out the window and there was pure glowing green. Next was Aurora and when she placed her hands upon the stone it changed colour to a greenish purple and the green light outside began to tint with purple at the edges, the purple slowly getting bigger. Then Sapphire added blue and the green was broken up and some of the purple too, making way for small patches of blue blending in so you couldn't tell where they started or ended. Red was next, tinting the stone red. He added a small hint to the sky. Nightshade darkened the stone and the lights began moving with swirling patterns, beginning to appear. Finally Winner added gold and the light erupted into full colour. They looked into the stone, which was showing a picture of a large man flying in a sleigh towards them. In a flash the lights disappeared as they walked towards the door. Nightshade threw his knife and missed. Jade and Sapphire both hit the reindeers with their swords while Aurora hit the sleigh down with her staff. Pulling the sword out of the red nosed animal's leg, Jade walked to the man and grabbed him.
"No, you can't do this!" he said "I'm Santa, I have to deliver toys to all the boys and girls around the world!"
"So what about the people who identify as neither?" she asked inquisitively, wondering if she could stump him.
"Yes, them too." She sighed as she pushed him forwards. The boys dealt, or rather, played with the sleigh while her sisters took care of the reindeers. She marched him away into the house and into the cage. Their house wasn't much of a house, more of a cave, but all that mattered was that he was locked up for trespassing on her property.

Borne of Desire
A man given a new lease on life finds himself amongst pokemon. From his memories of pokemon as a whole, he assumes the power of pokemon and the world around him runs on convenient fate, rule of cool, and cheesy friendship just like any other anime. Unfortunately for everyone else, he's 100% right. NOTE: If Borne of Caution is an attempt at a coherent and realistic look at pokemon, then, Borne of Desire is the opposite. It's all the mindless indulgence I DONT want in a serious story. It's a very seat-of-my-pants for-fun project and is written with no storyboard. Updates will be inconsistent and quality cannot be assured. Not to be taken too seriously.
