《HUNGRY EYES || J.JK × Reader ✔》chapter 29 | Game night

He is not even on his right mind anyway.
"Bro, you're the worst guy to play with so shut the fuck up," Doyun exposes him. "I'd totally love to play with you though, I'll teach you good tricks and how to shoot perfectly," he dares to start what looks like flirting, and I raise my eyes up to him, not feeling the taste of my meat anymore because of him. "Yeah, sure," she agrees but makes the awkwardness that he made her feel radiate everywhere.
"As if you were good enough..." Youngsoo sneers, but once I feel y/n lean towards me, I check up on her, but she just looks at me, and I swallow the food that is in my mouth. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing," she smiles, not talking to the guys or paying to them, I stay focused on her features, wondering what was that, but she moves forth and hands a tissue to Hojun. "The hot sauce made your lips red," she giggles, but I glance at Kimoon again, in a discreet manner as Hojun thanked her and grabbed what she gave him.
His eyes are down to her cleavage again.
What the fuck is he doing right now?
Once she gets back in her previous position, he gazes up but lifts his hand up to his hair, and he passes his fingers through it. I am getting mad now, I am really not liking this, and the more I see him, the more the wrath burns inside of me.
I might lose my composure at some point, so he better stop what he is doing. I do not give a shit if he drank too much and cannot control himself.
A sharp and heavy sigh escapes me, doing my best to handle this and not go insane.
"Have you put hot sauce on your cheeks though?" Hojun teases y/n, but the anger is too present in my veins to even laugh, I do not know what is going on in Kimoon's head. She scowls at him, playfully, but grips the edge of the seat and bends over. "This grill is burning me up from outside and inside because of the meat right now, and the heat of it is hitting my face, so stop making fun of me, alright?"
Hojun's cute laugh fills my ears, and I check on Kimoon's eyes again, knowing I should not but not knowing how to fight against this urge.
He is not looking anymore, he is literally staring. He combs his hair back, but he licks his lips, and his glassy stare goes away. "I gotta go to the restroom, guys. I drank too much," he stands up to leave the table, but the small voice inside of me assumes something else. I do not want to believe he would do such a thing because of my girlfriend, he is not that type of guy, even under the influence of some alcohol, he would not.
"We shouldn't stay here for too long," I tell Hojun, in a low voice, but he gazes at me with a questioning look. "Sure, but why?"
I shake my head and shrug, not giving him the answer I would like to get out of my chest. Kimoon is pissing me off, and his friends ruined Hojun's plan. I am slowly feeling the time bomb tick inside and get closer to the explosion point. "Are you mad...?" my baby rests the side of her body on mine, and her soft voice low-key soothes me. "I am, just...whatever."

They both look at me as they must understand that something is wrong, but y/n kisses my jawline and makes me soft.
However, not being calm enough to let this go and knowing the seconds are getting long, I put my chopsticks down. "I gotta go to the restroom too," I press a kiss on y/n's lips for those two guys to understand she is taken, and I get up, move to the side, and pass behind Hojun to go and look for the one that is disappointing me a lot tonight.
After a few steps, I enter the restroom but feel my phone vibrate in my pocket.
Hojun knows me well enough to believe the falsehood I said over there.
[ no, not at all. Don't worry, it's not you, I promise. I just don't wanna talk about it now, but its neither of you >
[ Don't worry
I lock my phone once this is read but hear a door get closed. This is not Kimoon. I know how wrong this can go if I do not control my anger right now, but this is boiling so much inside, I feel like blowing up.
I move to the sinks to wash my hands after the grease that went on it because of the food, and I fix my hair in the mirror. A few seconds later, I see the reflection of the one I have been waiting for get out of one of the cubicles, so I turn around and fix my eyes on him.
"What's going on with you, dude?" I get him to frown at me. "What?" he feigns incomprehension and washes his hands. "Your fucking behavior tonight. Don't even try to deny it or anything, I can't even count the number of times I saw you check y/n out and stare at her boobs. What the fuck are you doing?"
His tipsy state makes his actions even more irritating by seeming arrogant, with a couldn't-give-a-damn attitude. He scoffs and dries his hands. "I'm not, bro."
"You're not?" I sneer to not lose it and tongue my inner cheek. "I don't wanna fight with you, alright? So you fucking realize what you're doing and put your eyes everywhere but on her. Hojun was happy about this night out with his best friends and y/n, so those guys who were not invited already ruined it enough for you to add even more trouble. Got it?"
He stares at me with an unsteady look in his eyes. "I was not staring at her boobs. I'm just looking at the people around me, and I sometimes drop my eyes somewhere without even realizing what I'm focusing on, so chill the fuck out."
"Are you wasted or being an asshole for real?" I let out some words I might regret later, but his head tilts to the right as if he did not appreciate what he heard. "An asshole? I'm conscious of my actions right now, what the fuck are you trying to start exactly?"
"Stop lying!" I get mad at him, releasing the frustration he is causing by not even admitting the truth. "And stop looking at her, I won't say it again," I leave it like that to not insist anymore, knowing he will not own up to anything to what I saw with my own eyes. I burst out of this room and go back to the table, in the worst mood.
I sit down on the spot I was before, but I do not even look at Kimoon anymore. I do not say anything or eat anymore, but Hojun kicks me in the leg without meaning to hurt but get my attention, so I check what he wants, but he does not speak. He rests his blushing face on his hand and stares at me, and I feel y/n wrap her arms around my left one.

"What is it?" I ask him, but he smiles at me. "Nothing, just wanna annoy you."
I return the kick he gave me, and I gaze down at y/n. "Guys, does any of you still want to eat?" Hojun makes the first attempt, and none of them prevents us from putting an end to this. They all finish their drinks, y/n still holding my arm, the one who I have been mad at for some minutes now pays the check, but I grab y/n's hand and rise from my seat. I let her take her jacket, and tell Hojun that I am waiting for him outside, then I once I know he is okay with this and that y/n put her jacket on, I go out and breathe some fresh and cold air that could help me to relax a bit more.
The door closes behind me once we are out, and I toy with my tongue piercing in a nervous manner, not standing the things in of my head.
Not wanting y/n to worry about this as I can feel her caress my skin while holding my hand with both of hers, I face her and look into her eyes. "Did you eat well?"
"I did, and you?" she answers, but in a quiet voice. "Yeah. It was good."
"Hm..." she gazes down at my lips, the small traits of my face. "What about the time over there? Did you enjoy it?"
I take a deep breath and sigh through my nose. "Just wish those two guys weren't there," I do not tell anything about Kimoon to not cause any unnecessary drama, and she lets go of my hand to hug me and give me all the comfort I need. "I felt the same way."
"That's why I didn't want to stay here any longer, Hojun wanted to spend time with his friends, not those guys we barely know," I give her the same amount of affection as I can as well and squeeze her in a clasp.
"It feels weird to hug you and not punch or push you away," she manages to make me laugh, and I agree with her. "I know, right? It feels weird but good."
"True," she tightens her embrace around me, but the guys go out, and Hojun is the first one within sight. "Are you still up for the games in my room, or you'd rather stay with her?" the sadness I can hear in his voice makes me pick right away. "I'm still up, don't worry."
"Sure?" he asks to be certain that I am not forcing myself to do anything, so I nod, and assert my first statement. "Very sure."
"Okay," he brightens my mood with his smile, but I suggest something while the other guys are still behind. "Could we get into comfortable clothes like pajamas though?"
"Sure, I was going to get into them anyway. It's like a pajama party," he relieves me with his agreement, and y/n steps back, so I run my fingers through his fluffy hair to fix it, but he closes his eyes and tucks his hands in his front pocket. "Your cheeks are pink too because of the grill," I point it out to put him on the same level as y/n, and he grins. "Shut up."
"Doyun and I are gonna leave you here, guys, Hope you'll enjoy your night together," Youngsoo forgets he was not a part of this but came in with no invite, but since he is not rude or mean, I still talk to him. "Thanks. Have a good night too."
"See you another day, maybe," he smiles and bows to us, and we all do it to be respectful. Now, let's see how this goes.
•••
Someone knocking on Hojun's door cuts us off. He stands up from the floor, and I take a look at them since Kimoon is already here.
"Hey, come in," Hojun lets her in, and I lean back on the bed behind me, but once she steps in and appears in a pair of shorts and a white oversized sweater, I smile, and we both make eye contact. "We're all here! Let's decide what game we should play first," Hojun's excitement brightens up the whole mood as always, and y/n sits down next to me for us to face Hojun and Kimoon.
"Do you want to play Codenames, Monopoly, The Game Of Life, or a game with questions that is super cool when it's played with friends?" he asks for our opinion, but I let y/n pick. "You seem to like the questions game, so maybe that one?" she reads through his behavior, and I agree with her. "Alright then, thanks for choosing that one because I wanted to play to it."
"Stop being so fucking cute," I bend my head back to rub my eyes and pull my hair back, but a yawn goes out. "I'm not cute, you just love me too much."
A moan leaves my mouth, and I laugh. "You're right," I hold my arms up behind my head, and I watch him lay the cards down with y/n after she wanted to give him a hand.
"The three of us are kinda matching, just saying," he mentions what I did not miss, both of them wearing a white oversized sweater while I am wearing a black t-shirt. The only difference is that y/n is in a pair of white shorts, and this boy is in a pair of grey sweatpants like I am. "That's a sign."
"What are you talking about?" y/n gasps and finishes what she was doing to look at me. "We're soulmates. There's no sign."
"Yeah, but Hojun is into this, that's why I said that," do not lie about it, and she takes it as an excuse. "Yeah," she purses her lips but reminds me of the emojis and texts we sent at the beginning, when I was overthinking what I was doing.
"What is this game about exactly though? What kind of questions are there?" she asks him, taking a look at the different stacks of red cards. "Okay, so here, you have the questions," he shows the ones on our left, then moves his hand to the right. "And here, the dares that you can get if you don't answer a question. And those questions are very random, it can go from 'What's your favorite color' to 'When was the last time you had sex'. So...yeah."
"Oh..." she does not feel the same way about the game anymore. "Well. Okay. Let's go, I guess."
"Yeah," he laughs at her reaction but straightens his back. "Who goes first?"
"You," she answers at the same time as I do, so he starts and grabs the first card to read it in front of us. "What a beginning...well...When was the last time you dated?" he sighs and puts it down next to him. "Five years ago. Happened once, never happened again."
"Why?" she voices out with grief, feeling hurt by this answer. "Do you really wanna hear the story? Because it's too long."
"I wanna hear everything," she nods, being the only one who doesn't know about it. "Okay, so she was my first love since I was fourteen, I was deeply in love with her and back then, I was a very cheesy, romantic, and stupid boy, so I would always write letters to her, stand up for her, compliment her all the time, buy her gifts and do whatever she wants me to because I thought my life revolved around her and her happiness. On top of that, I was a shy boy, and this girl was a bit popular around everyone because she was friendly and extrovert, nothing like me, so I was feeling special and so happy about it, and she was older, so like soon sixteen, which boys always love at this age. I couldn't believe it. However, after some weeks, I found out, from one of my best friends, that she actually had sex with my other, fake best friend, but it did not stop there, after that, I also got to know that she was actually dating another guy from another school while using me like a dumbass. So...it traumatized me, and I never wanted to feel this again. I cried for days...and months later, I was still crying like a dumbass while thinking about it because I thought she did love me as much as I did."
"This girl is such a..." she bites her lips. "A fucking disgusting and worthless bitch," I end the sentence for her, and Hojun smiles. "She is, but anyway, your turn, Kimoon."
This guy I cannot even look at anymore tonight leans forth to get a question as well. "Do you own a pet? If yes, what kind?" he reads it. "I don't."
"Okay. Your turn now, y/n," Hojun claps his hands and holds them together, showing some odd excitement. She grabs a new card from the stack that is on our side, and I read over her shoulder. "What is an instant mood killer for you?" she already picks a spicy one but does not seem to be shy to answer. "Hmm...I don't know...Talking about another girl or calling me the wrong name."
"Yeah, people who call their partner the wrong name are the worst," Hojun agrees with her, and since I know it is time for me to see what I am about to expose about myself, I get the card y/n just handed me. "What do you think about when you..." I keep the last word in my head and grin, scared to say it out loud and let them know what I avoided because y/n is here. I drop the card between my thighs and ask y/n to give me a dare card.
"Bro, what we the question?" Hojun does not accept this, and y/n sides him by keeping the card in her hand. "Nothing. I don't wanna answer it, so give me that card," I snatch it away from her hold, but she hurries to steal the question away from me and throw it to Hojun.
