Taehyung had made his intentions known to Jimin and the omega seemed to have been thinking about it a lot. He'd zoned out several times while having flashbacks of the moment Taehyung kissed him in the kitchen and the time when the Alpha said he wanted to court and mate him again. The next morning after that confession was hard. Jimin couldn't even look at Taehyung for 2 minutes without getting shy and acting like a teenager who just saw his crush. Was it even sensible that after so many years he would be feeling butterflies and getting shy because of an Alpha? Was it possible to be happy again and fall in love the second time? Wasn't he too old to feel giddy when Taehyung was close to him?

"Hey Mama, what are you making?" Maya asked as she stepped into the kitchen.

Jimin was completely zoned out. He didn't even hear his daughter. His eyes were fixed on the wall but his mind was absent. Maya tapped his shoulder and he gained his consciousness.

"Oh hi Taemin...uh I mean Maya. Hey sweety". Jimin stuttered as he blinked several times trying to understand what he was doing in the kitchen in the first place. The Omega had clothes in his hand and he was supposed to go spread them outside but he found himself in the kitchen because he was thinking about a certain Alpha who decided to confuse him.

"Mama are you good?" Maya was genuinely concerned.

"Yeah...yeah I just wanted to check something". Jimin scratched his nape and started walking out of the kitchen.

"Ok, I'll be in my room". Maya said, eyes still scanning the Omega's lost state.

Instead of going outside to spread the clothes, Jimin took the clothes to the living room and back to the kitchen before he actually realized what he was doing. He smacked his forehead before finally going to spread the clothes. Taehyung was occupying the Omega's mind lately and maybe he would consider the Alpha's courtship. Just maybe.

Maya was about to put on her headphone when she heard a knock on the door. She rolled her eyes knowing that it was none other than her younger brother.

"I'm not doing your homework Taemin. Take it to Mama". The girl shouted for whoever was at the door to hear but her eyes widened in total shock when she heard Taehyung's voice outside.

"Maya it's me". The Alpha said calmly.

"Dad?" Maya asked and jumped down from her bed to get the door. She had a frown on her face, clearly confused and also not pleased about Taehyung's sudden visit. Nevertheless, she creaked the door open and peeped out to see her father who was in his wheelchair waiting to be let in.

"Mama is not here". Maya hastily said as if she was trying to make her father go away immediately.

"I'm here to see you Maya". Taehyung said.

"Well, you're seeing me right now, aren't you?" The girl was getting pissed already. She was not in the mood to have Taehyung go over the same topic of defending himself about why Maya hated him. They had that talk several times but Maya was a kid and it was hard to convince her that Taehyung didn't show up that day because he was kidnapped. All she knew was that Taehyung abandoned and lied to her.

"I'm not here to defend myself". Taehyung admitted.

"So?"

"Can we talk in your room at least?"

Maya sighed and rolled her eyes. A habit she learnt from Jimin. She opened her door for the alpha and he slowly rolled in his wheelchair. Maya crossed her arms on her chest waiting for her father to start talking.

"The first time I saw your mother, she was just a pup and I loved her a lot. I was just a kid then but my feelings didn't lie to me because even when she grew into a woman, I was still in love with her big bambi eyes. The same eyes that you have, the same eyes that reminds me of my first love. You are my greatest gift from her and an everlasting seal of the love I once shared with her and I want to hold on to that love because it's a part of my life. But how can I do that when you hate me so much. You can't even stand the sight of me. I know I failed you but I am hoping that I still have a chance to make it right. I might not be the best father especially now that I can't even do anything reasonable for you and your brother but please Maya, I need my little princess back. I need my first love back". Taehyung broke down in front of his daughter. His voice was shaking when he started talking but by the time he finished, the tears were rolling. It wasn't that he still love his dead mate in a romantic way but the memories of past feelings came crashing on him and it was worse because Maya really looked like her biological mother and Taehyung just couldn't imagine being hated by someone so dear to his heart.

"Daddy". Maya whispered. She was crying too not because she knew who her biological mother was but because the sight of her father crying was the most emotional thing ever. She knelt down in front of her father and sobbed on his laps and he patted her back to make her calm down.

"I'm so sorry princess". Taehyung apologized.

"I'm sorry daddy. I don't hate you". The girl whispered.

"I know, I know. I love you so much Maya". Taehyung told his daughter who was still crying and wiping her tears at the same time.

Maya gave her father a big hug and sank her face on his scent gland. It had been ages since he scented her and all those times she felt lost and uneasy. Even though Jimin used to scent her, it was different coming from the Alpha.

"You know if I you fall asleep I can't carry you right?" Taehyung asked his daughter when he noticed she was starting to doze off. Her father's scent had got to be the most calming scent after Jimin. The Omega's pheromones would literally knock her out in seconds.

"Daddy?"

"Yes?"

"Do you still love my mum?"

"I loved her when she was here and I cherish that feeling but now I love your Mama and I wish he'd love me back".

"Oh". Maya's lips twitched as if she was holding her smile.

"What?" Taehyung asked as he noticed that his daughter had a mischievous expression on her face.

"Well, me and Taemin are pla..."

"Hey, that was supposed to be a secret. Why do you wanna tell dad about our plan?" Taemin had almost interrupted when Maya started crying. He was standing at the door since then and he may have shed a few tears but he wouldn't just stand there and watch his sister disclose their plan to their father.

"Oh sorry Daddy, I can't say". Maya giggled.

"You two are definitely up to no good. But whatever you are planning, don't burn down my house and don't get into trouble" Taehyung told his kids they both nodded. He shook his head before turning his wheelchair to leave Maya's room.

What could this two be planning?

So I have a story that's been on my second Wattpad account for some days. It has 5 chapters up already and about 50 reads. I'm thinking of continuing it here but I'm not sure if it'll do great. What do you think?
