It took Taehyung all the self control in the world to pass Jimin's temptation. Maybe because his desire to build trust and get back his family was better than falling for temporary pleasure. If he had allowed Jimin to get to him, then the Omega would have gotten a bad impression.

On the other hand, Jimin was happy that Taehyung was able to control himself. It proved that the alpha respected him and was willing to wait for his complete forgiveness.

"Thank you for taking me there. I enjoyed myself". Jimin said shyly as he stared at his feet and tucked his hair behind his ear.

He hadn't stopped blushing since he kissed Taehyung's toe. It was embarrassing to think about it especially since the Alpha was looking at him as if he was a trophy.

"Don't look at me like that". Jimin said and looked away.

"You should get going. You need to sleep". Taehyung placed his finger on the Omega's chin and turned his face.

"Yes, yes of course. I'll see you tomorrow". The Omega opened the car door and stepped out.

The car was about to move when Jimin suddenly waved at the driver to stop.

"Sir, you'll pay extra charges if you waste more time". The taxi driver was already pissed because Taehyung and Jimin just decided to keep him waiting instead of saying goodnight.

"Hold on a bit". Taehyung said to the driver as he stepped down.

Jimin hugged the Alpha and kissed his cheek before whispering something to him.

"I forgive you alpha and I can't wait for you to come home".

Taehyung's eyes widened and he almost lost his balance. His mouth open and shut again, unable to form a word. He didn't expect the Omega to forgive him and he didn't even imagine that Jimin's forgiveness would come so fast. He had a lot of plans about how he was going to win Jimin's heart again, like taking the whole family on a vacation. Doing all the chores, pampering the Omega, being a friend and husband, being a shoulder to lean on and being the best Alpha he could.

Well, he was still going to do all that but it felt better knowing that the Omega already forgave him.

"So when are you coming home?"

"In two days".

"Then why do you want me home so fast? Huh?" Taehyung teased.

"Well, our pups need to see you".

"And your mom needs to see you too".

Jimin didn't hesitate to tell his kids and Mrs Kim about Taehyung's return. They were all excited and ready to welcome him. The Omega even had their bedroom rearranged. He dry cleaned all of Taehyung's clothes and hung them neartly in the closet. Then he prepared all of Taehyung's favorite foods and made sure everything and everyone was ready to receive the Alpha.

Taehyung was supposed to arrive at 4pm but it was already 6pm and there was no sign of the Alpha. The kids sat patiently waiting for their father. Jimin paced back and forth nervously as his mind started imagining a lot of things.

The food was getting cold and Taemin already slept off while Maya sat quietly with anger slowly taking over her demeanor.

"Daddy's not coming back". Maya suddenly spoke her mind.

"Maya baby, I promise your daddy's coming home. He said it himself. Maybe something came up and he's going to be a little late". Jimin tried to convince the little girl.

"Daddy's a liar!" Maya raised her voice.

"Then why is he not here and why didn't he call you to tell you that he'll be late?".

That was when Jimin remembered that he had a phone. He called Jk since Taehyung didn't have a phone.

"Hey Jimin, how's the welcome party going?" Jk asked immediately he answered the phone.

"Taehyung is not here yet". Jimin said sadly.

"He's not? But he left my house around 2pm. There's no way he wouldn't get to your place on time". Jk sounded worried.

"What if Taehyung was playing with me?" The Omega's voice broke as he tried holding back his tears.

"Jimin listen to me. I'm sure your Alpha will return to you. Trust me I made sure he wasn't playing".

"But he's not here. He lied to me...he doesn't love me... he's not coming back... he...."

"Jimin calm down. I'm on my way to your house. Don't do anything crazy, just wait for me".

When Jk arrived, Mrs Kim took the kids into the room since they already fell asleep. She gave Jimin an apologetic look before finally retiring to her room, leaving the Omega and Jk in the living room.

Jimin tried his best to swallow the anger in his heart but it didn't work so he started scattering everything he arranged for his Alpha's return. Well, he didn't throw the food away because he had children to feed so it was foolish to waste food.

Jk on the other hand was boiling in anger, all he wanted that minute was to get a hold of Taehyung and beat the shit out of him. But most of all, he blamed himself for not protecting Jimin from Taehyung. If he had known that Taehyung was just playing games, he wouldn't have let him back.

"I'm such a fool... I'm a fool, a big fool. How could I be so stupid?" Jimin sat on the floor as tears washed off his makeup.

"You're not foolish Jimin. I should be apologizing for encouraging you to give him another chance". Jk said pitifully.

"I should have known. I let him come back into my life to open a fresh wound. I involved my kids in this mess thinking he'd come back. What wrong did I do in life".

"Jimin please stop blaming yourself. It's his loss if he decided to mess up the chance you gave him.
