One fine evening at Jimin's workplace, the Omega was preparing to go home when one of his colleagues informed him that someone was waiting for him outside. He rolled his eyes, already getting pissed that it must be one of those stupid Alphas that were trying to woo him.

Idiots, they probably wanted to get into his pants, why else would an Alpha keep following him around. He thought.

Jimin packed up his stuff and headed out of the office. He was ready to give whoever was waiting for him a piece of his mind but there was no way he could do that, especially when the person was someone he could never forget.

"JK?" Jimin shouted, voice filled with overwhelming excitement as he jumped into the Alpha's arms.

Jk stumbled back as Jimin almost pushed him down. He couldn't control how wide his smile got, to the point where his eyes crinkled. The Alpha picked Jimin and spun him around as if he weighed nothing.

"Hey beautiful". Jk softly whispered to the Omega.

Jimin was lost for words, he didn't know where to start or what to say to the Alpha he had missed for so long. Jimin started crying on the Alpha's chest and mumbling things that no one could understand. It looked like he was venting. Like he had been waiting for Jk to return and listen to everything that had been troubling him. Seeing JK was the last straw for him finally breakdown. Just like a child would bottle up his tears and breakdown the moment his mother returned.

"I'm here now. No one can hurt you again I promise". Jk pat the Omega's head.

"Why did you go away? You hate me". Jimin mumbled.

"I'm so so so sorry Bubba. I swear I don't hate you...I just...I just had something to take care of". Jk explained.

"You're back for good?" Jimin looked into the Alpha's eyes, hoping to get an answer.

"Yes, I am back Jimin and this time I will never leave you alone". Jk promised.

Taehyung saw everything and he hated it. But on the other side, he thought Jk would be a better partner if he had the intention of starting a relationship with Jimin. It wouldn't be easy to just let Jimin get mated by another Alpha but he would try to live with it. Then that would be his punishment for hurting Jimin.

Jimin and Jk decided to spend some time catching up in a restaurant. They had lots of things to talk about. Jimin didn't even know he was so attached to Jk until that point. He wasn't really a great friend to the Alpha when they lived together but it seemed like the distance and time apart had actually brought them closer and made the Omega realize how much he needed Jk around.

"So are you going to tell me why you left after literally pulling out a whole pup from me?" Jimin asked as he took a sip of his drink.

"My letters had enough explanation". The Alpha looked away in embarrassment.

"Letters... what letters?"

"I wrote you letters. God! I'm so embarrassed. Just forget about it ok?"

"I didn't get any letter, so can you explain yourself?"

"Oh no wonder you never replied, you didn't get them. Thank goodness. I'm happy you didn't get them cause now I feel stupid for writing them in the first place".

"What was in the letter?"

"I'm never telling you that".

"Come on tell me".

"No way".

Jk may have fallen for Jimin before but he also took the time to deal with his feelings. He sincerely wanted to be in Jimin's life as a good friend, a friend that will always stand by the omega's side, a friend to cherish and trust. He wanted to be that Alpha that would prove to Jimin that someone could still love him without wanting anything in return.

They pretty much talked about everything that had happened in their lives and how the biggest asshole in the world was Taehyung.

Jk walked Jimin home after their time together and they exchanged contacts. When the Alpha was about to leave, Jimin's kiss on the cheek came unexpected to him but he was glad that the Omega was happy to see him.

Taehyung who had been following and watching them closely almost jumped out to attack Jk. He didn't like the sight of Jimin getting close to anyone. Even though he decided to let Jimin find happiness in another Alpha, it didn't feel good to see such a thing happen right in front of him.

When Jimin entered the house, Jk stood at the gate for some time, waiting for his ride. A couple of minutes passed and the cab didn't arrive so he decided to walk to the bus stop.

As the Alpha walked, he sensed another Alpha's presence and his ears perked up immediately trying to grab the tiniest sound. He already bared his fangs in case someone was going to attack him.

"Whoever you are, come out cause I'm not afraid of you. Face me Alpha to Alpha if you are not a weakling". Jk challenged.

Jk stood firmly in an attack position, waiting for the other Alpha to show himself. Taehyung's wolf jumped out of the bushes and stood in front of Jk. With the way he stood and he scent he emitted, Jk understood that the Alpha wasn't planning to attack.

"Who are you and what do you want?" Jk asked the wolf.

The wolf shifted immediately and Jk could already tell who he was. He rolled his eyes at the naked man on the ground and patiently waited for Taehyung to completely shift.

"Dude you're really shifting in my presence?if I want to see a naked guy, I know where to go ok?" Jk glared at the naked Alpha who didn't even bother covering up.

"Let's talk Jk". Taehyung asked.

"I don't want to talk to you. I know it's about Jimin and you are probably here because you're jealous after seeing us together earlier. I owe you no discussion or explanation about that".

"Listen man, I'm not here to fight. I just have a request".

"To help you get Jimin back? I'm not doing that".

"That's not it".

"To stay away from him? That's never happening".

"No, I want you to be his Alpha".

Jk blinked many times, eyes and mouth wide open as he tried to process Taehyung's ridiculous request. Taehyung just said the most difficult and impossible thing any Alpha could ever say. Jk could bet on his life that no Alpha had ever given up their Omega to another Alpha.

It was a sign of submission without fighting. That could only be done by a weakling.

"I see you've gone mad". Jk shoved Taehyung out of the way and started walking away.

"I don't deserve to be in Jimin's life. I hurt him enough and I can't even show my face to his kids. I left them like a coward. Please do this for me". Taehyung begged.

"I don't want to cross my boundaries. I want to remain an honest friend to Jimin so I can't go that far". Jk spoke calmly.

"But you love him". Taehyung insisted.

"How do you know that?"

"I read your letter Jk. I know you love Jimin so I'm begging you to be with. Then I'll be at peace knowing that he's in safe hands".

"Are you going away or what? You know what it means to give up your family to another Alpha right?"

"I know all that but I'll be fine. Just heal Jimin and be a father to his kids. That's all I ask". Taehyung knelt down and begged.

Jk offered his hand for the kneeling Alpha to stand on his feet. Taehyung was crying, he looked tired, pale and skinny and he had bruises on some parts of his body.

"Where do you stay?" Jk asked.

"In the forest".

"You've been living like a wild wolf?"

"That's where I belong".

"Can we talk properly in my house?"
