Jk never missed following Jimin to any doctor's appointment. Every change, every mood swing, every complaint, every pain, every kick, Jk was there by Jimin's side.

The Omega still didn't trust Jk but he loosened up around him and let him help. It was getting harder to do some work as the Omega's bump grew bigger, making him waddle like a big fat lazy duck.

Jk teased him everyday about how he could no longer carry himself and the Omega either laughed or pouted and on some occasions, he'd suddenly start crying.

Everyone believed Jk was Jimin's Alpha and he took the title like a champ, always pushing Jimin behind him to protect the omega from harm. His intentions were pure, yet Jimin was not going to let his guard down by falling for another Alpha's pretence. All Alphas are the same and no one could tell him otherwise.

It was Jimin's 9th month and Jungkook had accompanied him to the hospital for his appointment. On that particular day, it was as if all pregnant Omegas came out of wherever they lived, they were just everywhere. Jimin saw most of the omega's with their Alphas, happily sitting and talking or walking hand in hand with wide smiles on their faces. Some of the Alpha had their hands secured around their Omega's waist.

Jimin looked down at his large bump and bit his bottom lip to stop it from quivering. There was a fresh pain in his heart that felt as if a healing wound was opened again.

Jk noticed how the Omega became sad. His eyes followed Jimin's eyes and landed on a male omega whose Alpha was rubbing his bump. Jk sighed and offered to hold Jimin's hand as they walked to the waiting room but Jimin didn't want to hold hands. Yeah he was sad but he still had an attitude.

When it was Jimin's turn to see the doctor, JK took the opportunity to find something that could light up Jimin's mood, probably food. Even though the doctor had advised that Jimin reduced how much food he consumed to avoid birthing a large pup, one big portion of food just for the day wouldn't hurt right?

So the Alpha stepped out to get food for Jimin.

The cafeteria was a bit crowded and Jk had to stand in a long line to get Jimin's most craved dish, samgyeopsal.

Ten minutes passed and Jimin was already calling Jk since the doctor requested to give the alpha some guidance on how to take care of Jimin in the last stage of his pregnancy.

"Hey Jimin, I'm so sorry. I went to get you some food. Will be there in 2 minutes". Jk calmly spoke on the phone.

"Hurry, the doctor's waiting". Jimin said in annoyance.

"Yes your Royal majesty". Jk chuckled before the Omega hung up.

As JK put the phone back into his pocket, someone tapped his shoulder and he turned around to see who it was.

"You?" Jk glared at the male.

"Where is Jimin?" Taehyung was straight to the point.

"Do you just pop out of the blue and start asking people questions?" Jk said mockingly.

"I wouldn't be talking to a rogue like you if i wasn't informed that you are the one who's been with my Omega". Taehyung blurted rudely.

"Your Omega? Your Omega really? Now you have an Omega? Listen here Mister whoever the freaking fuck you are. I don't know why you followed me and don't care but next time you approach me, we won't be having a peaceful conversation". Jk threatened as he flashed his fangs.

"I need to see Jimin". Taehyung insisted.

"And how is that my business?"

"Because the police already found out where Jimin has been hiding and you're the only one they've seen around him. I won't hesitate to ask them to arrest you for kidnap".

"If the police already told you where he is, what is stopping you from showing your miserable self to him?"

"Because I know he doesn't want to see me. I need your help". Taehyung mellowed.

"This is how you ask for help? After being this rude? I see why Jimin doesn't want to see you". Jk rolled his eyes and started walking away.

"Look, I'm sorry ok? I'm just desperate to meet Jimin but I don't know how to approach him. I know he hates me right now".

"Jimin has been doing great for a long time. I advise you keep the same energy as when you rejected him. Stay away from him".

"Come on bro".

"I am not your bro. Stay away from Jimin because if anything happens to him or the pup, I'll make sure you don't live to see the sun rise again".

"What kept you so long?" Jimin asked the Alpha with a sad pout.

"The line was long. I'm sorry for keeping you waiting". Jk apologized and flashed the bag of food in front of Jimin.

"Samgyeopsal? Oh my goodness, you're the best". Jimin clapped excitedly.

"Yeah, I know". Jk wriggled his eyebrows.

"Come on, the doctor is waiting". Jimin dragged him into the office.

After several minutes of discussing with the doctor. Jk and Jimin realized that it was just a matter of days or few weeks before the pup would arrive. The doctor had suggested that Jungkook stayed close to Jimin because the Omega would need assistance during labour. Long story short, Jk would temporarily move in with Jimin until the pup arrived.

On their way out of the hospital, Jk spotted Taehyung trying to approach them and he was quick to distract Jimin to avoid seeing the Alpha. Jk didn't want anything that would trigger early labor or any form of stress for the Omega.

"You look so restless, are you hiding something from me?" Jimin asked the Alpha when he couldn't help but notice Jk's sudden uneasiness.

"I'm not hiding anything". The Alpha answered and put his arm around Jimin's shoulder.

Jk's actions were clearly to assert dominance and claim the Omega, it was a way for him to pass the message to Taehyung that he was not allowed to go close to Jimin. The Omega was confused as to why Jk was suddenly protective. Well, it was normal for an Alpha to become more alert and possessive around a pregnant omega but the pup wasn't even Jk's own, so Jimin wondered why he was being like that.

"Is something wrong?" Jimin asked in a low voice as he felt his knees going weak from Jk's territorial pheromones.

"I'm going to protect you Jimin. I'll make sure you and your pup are safe". Jk asserted.

"Gosh JK, tone it down on the scent. You'll kill me before you protect me". Jimin hit the Alpha's arm.

"Oh, sorry". Jk apologized.

Taehyung saw everything and he was getting infuriated by Jk's action. He knew Jk was sending a warning signal but he'd rather die than watch another Alpha take Jimin or claim his pup. Still, if he wanted to get Jimin back, he'd have to go through Jk since it looked like he was the closest person to the Omega at that point.

Two days later, Jk was setting up the crib while Jimin lazily sat on the bed like a sack of potatoes. The doorbell rang and Jk ignored it, thinking that Jimin would go check who it was but the omega didn't even attempt to move.

"You're not getting the door". Jk sighed.

"I'm pregnant and tired, go get it". Jimin defended with a mischievous chuckle.

"You're always tired even though your fat ass did absolutely nothing today". Jk complained.

"What did you say?"

"I said you're the prettiest pregnant mama in the world". Jk rolled his eyes.

"Good boy. Go get the door now".

"Yeah, of course".

Jk opened the door and it was no other person but Taehyung. He looked back into the house to check if Jimin was behind, then he stepped out and slammed the door shut.

"What are you doing here?" Jk whispered but his tone was laced with anger.

"I need to see Jimin. I can't sleep, I can't eat, I can't do anything well. I'm not even able to return to work in Japan. Please I need to talk to him". Taehyung begged almost at the verge of crying.

"Jimin doesn't want to see you". Jk folded his arms, already getting bored of the conversation.

"Was that what he said? Come on bro, you know how I feel. You're an alpha too".

"You're only going to hurt Jimin over and over again. I don't want that".

"I promise, I just need to talk to him. I'll go crazy if I'm not there when my Omega gives birth".

"He is not your Omega. Say that again and I'll make sure you don't see Jimin or the pup".

"Ok I'm sorry. I mean, I can't afford to miss the birth of my pup. I made a mistake in the past but please give me a chance to correct it".

"Get out".

"Bro, don't be like that".

"I said leave here this minute".

"You can't do this. Jimin is my Omega and he's carrying my pup. You have to let me see him".

"Joker".

Jk scoffed at the pleading Alpha and slammed the door shut against his face. He walked back into the room to continue what he was doing like nothing happened.
