Hoseok woke up without Yoongi by his side. That was the third night the Alpha went missing at night and Hoseok couldn't understand where or why he always left their bedroom at night. Other times he just slept off and ignored the urge to ask his Alpha but the third time was enough. Hoseok wanted to know what was going on.

He grabbed his robe to cover up and headed downstairs to search for yoongi. It may just be that the alpha was watching a late-night show or working overtime on his laptop.

Hoseok walked past Jimin's room but he halted immediately after hearing muffled voices. It sounded like someone was struggling and without even thinking twice, he ran back to the door and pushed it open.

He was just trying to make sure that Jimin was okay but the sight before him looked like something else.

Jimin was struggling with Yoongi, trying to push the Alpha away when he tried to force himself on the Omega but when Hoseok opened the door, Yoongi decided to play smart by falling on the floor to pretend that Jimin was trying to attack him.

"What is going on here?" Hoseok barged in confused.

"He was trying to..."

"Oh sunshine, thank goodness you're here. Your friend tried to seduce me". Yoongi accused Jimin and looked into Hoseok's eyes with the most innocent expression.

"What?" Hoseok almost screamed in shock.

"That's not true. Hoseok believe me, he tried to force himself on me". Jimin defended with tears threatening to fall from his eyes.

"Sunshine are you going to believe him or me, your Alpha?" Yoongi manipulated.

Hoseok stared between Yoongi and Jimin silently. His rage was building up as he walked to Jimin and slapped him. His breathing was heavy and anger was evident on his face. Yoongi smirked and mocked Jimin who was already crying.

"Hoseok please believe me". Jimin's voice shook.

"Don't you dare speak my name with that filthy mouth of yours. Matter of fact, I want you out of my house this minute". Hoseok pointed at the door.

"Sunshine it's late, he can stay and leave in the morning". Yoongi tried to bargain.

"I don't want him here. I don't want anyone who has his eyes on my Alpha".

"This is all a misunderstanding. I could never do that Hoseok". Jimin begged on his knees.

"Take your things and leave my house this minute. Now I see why you don't have a mate. Slut!" Hoseok barked.

Jimin stopped begging and wiped his tears before packing his things that night. This was his fate, this was the life he was unfortunate to have. This was his destiny, to always be rejected, to always be unhappy.

The Omega decided to go back to Korea. He'd get another job and rent a new apartment far away from where he used to live. He'd also delete and block all his contacts.

Maybe it was better to start life afresh with the pup growing inside him. Jimin didn't have plans to tell Taehyung about the pregnancy. Not like the Alpha was interested anyway.

Since Jimin always hid the mark on his neck with a scarf or makeup, no one saw or knew he was mated. Well, even though it was by mistake. People condemned and judged the omega as his bump grew.

It was taboo for a single unmarked Omega to be pregnant so life got even harder for Jimin.

The Omega had moved to the outskirts of Korea, to a small town where he started selling fruits and vegetables. He wouldn't get a good job in his condition so instead of begging or starving his unborn pup, he'd rather sell anything he could.

Jimin started his day just like every other day. He had displayed the fruits and vegetables on a small table under an umbrella. Then he put on his apron and hat, all ready for the day's sales.

A tall figure suddenly stood before him and he looked up at who it was.

"Wh...what are you do... doing here?" Jimin stuttered and stood up from his bench.

"This is my hometown. I'm surprised you...you do business here". The man said.

"Well, I just moved here". Jimin informed.

The man checked Jimin out for a short time before his eyes landed on the Omega's bump.

"Oh, I see you got it going with your Alpha". The man chuckled.

"What Alpha are you talking about?" Jimin asked.

"The one that almost attacked me when I returned your money. The way he wanted to bite my head off, I won't doubt if he's not your Alpha now. I mean..." Jk trailed off as he pointed at Jimin's bump.

"He's not my Alpha nor the father of my pup". Jimin's demeanor changed immediately.

Jk stared at Jimin shortly and all he saw in the omega's eyes was sorrow and disappointment but he said nothing about it.

Jk was a rogue but it didn't mean he didn't have emotions and after seeing the pain in Jimin's eyes, he felt the need to make things right.

"So can I help you sell today?" Jk offered happily, trying to change the topic.

"No, no, you must have other things to do. I wouldn't want you to waste your time here". Jimin waved him off.

"I have nothing to do anyway. So I want to be your employee". The Alpha said sarcastically even though he meant what he said.

"You wouldn't leave, would you?" Jimin asked.

"Nope".

"Fine, you can help me out today only.

Throughout the day, JK did most of the selling while Jimin sat and watched him. Unlike other rogues who were known to be wild and caused a lot of nuisance, Jk was a total gentleman and he'd wink playfully at the Omega from time to time.

Jimin would smile at him when he did anything funny or cute but he didn't trust the rogue anyway. In the back of his mind, he thought Jk had an ulterior motive so the omega needed to be alert.

"Do you live around?" JK asked after attending to a customer.

"Umm...I don't stay close". Jimin lied. He sure lived very close to where he sold his goods.

"Can I walk you home when you close?" Jk asked again.

"No don't bother, I have somewhere else to go".

"Ok, can I come to help you here tomorrow?"

"I won't be selling tomorrow".

"But I can come when you open?"

"Gosh JK...I don't need anyone ok? Thanks for helping me today but please stay away from me".

"You need someone around. You're carrying a pup. It's gonna get more difficult for you as you get closer to birthing. Let me be around". Jk offered.

"That's how nice you all are until you get what you want". Jimin rolled his eyes.

"I don't want anything from you. I barely know you in fact but I think I understand what's going on in your life and I just want to be a friend".

"I don't need a friend".

"Come on, don't be so difficult".

"Fuck off".

"Please".

"Get lost, mister".

"Nope".

"Annoying asshole".

"Come on Jimin. Let me help".

"Oh my fucking goodness! Fine, fine fine. You can help me only here but you must not come to my house".

"Ah finally! I got a job". Jk rejoiced.

"You're crazy". Jimin shook his head as he folded his umbrella, ready to go home.

Months passed and no one knew where Jimin was. Maya had cried until she couldn't force tears to fall anymore. Taehyung was secretly looking for Jimin but he still pretended he didn't care.

Sometimes when he saw Hoseok or Yoongi in the neighborhood, he was tempted to ask where Jimin had gone but he was still lying to himself that he didn't care.

What the Alpha didn't expect was to get called for questioning by the police in Korea. He had traveled home to see Maya and a few days later, Jimin's mother contacted the police to ask Taehyung what he had done to Jimin and why the Omega was nowhere to be found.

The only witness Taehyung had to prove that Jimin had left his place alive and well was Hoseok.

The phone conversation between Taehyung and Hoseok was recorded for future reference during the investigation.

PHONE CONVERSATION

"Yes?" Hoseok answered on the other line.

"Hi, Hoseok. This is Taehyung, your neighbor".

"Yes, what can I do for you?"

"I want to know if Jimin is still with you or maybe he found a place in Japan".

"Jimin is a little devil and he almost ruined my home. I don't care where he is and I don't want you calling me because of him".

"What do you mean by that?"

"He wanted to seduce my man so he'd put that thing he's carrying on my husband. But I'm smart and I didn't let it happen".

"Jimin is carrying a pup?"

"Yes and I don't care".

Hoseok hung up and the phone fell from Taehyung's hand. The Alpha was frozen and his eyes bulged out. All this while, he didn't know the whole Jimin situation was much bigger than he imagined.

Jimin was pregnant with his pup but no one knew where the said Omega was.

Taehyung's Alpha automatically switched to 'mate' mode. The only thing he wanted to do was to turn the world upside down and shake it vigorously until Jimin came out of wherever he was hiding.
