《NCT 19th Member》Hyejin vs Sasaeng

Hyejin was always mature when it came to sasaeng. She always knew how to handle the situation. Fans even would applaud her for being the badass that she is.

One day, Mark and Hyejin had been on a vlive and her phone kept ringing with calls. The first few times she ignored it, turning off her phone. She was expecting a call from her brother so she kept checking her phone.

At one point she decided to pick up the phone after getting annoyed. She walked to the side, away from the camera.

"Hello? Please stop calling this number. Bye" was all she said before turning off her phone. She went back to the camera. She received another phone call, rolling her eyes she looked at the camera.

"Isn't it so weird to stalk a 17 year old girl by calling her every hour? Must be sad to not know how to respect people's privacy." She said. Mark widened his eyes.

"Damn," he mumbled, smiling softly.

Another time, she had been returning from SMTOWN and was walking next to Doyoung in the airport.

"No no. It was not apple juice. The fans obviously know that it wasn't apple juice. I mean Jaehyun was drunk-" her sentence was interrupted by a bunch of camera flashes that was blinding her view. Doyoung grabbed her hand moving her to avoid the flash.

"You ok?" He asked. She shook her head.

"Wait. Don't leave." She said. She grabbed her phone, walking up to the sasaengs to take pictures of them. A bunch of them began looking away or covering their faces. She nodded.

"Yeah I'm invading your privacy. Know you know how I feel." She said, before running back to Doyoung and they both walked away.

Fans would not stop posting on twitter and Instagram about how brave she was. And she was happy about it at first. She really was happy that she had real fans.

The situation was controlled. Up until a couple of weeks ago. One morning, Hyejin was feeling sick, you know: girl problems. And to top it all off she got three hours of sleep because she had been practicing. But she still had to wake up and get ready for the airport.

She was barely herself. Walking around lazily, always holding onto Jaehyun's hand so he could guide her around. But she went to the bathroom. While she was in there, she was attacked by sasaeng. They came up to her in a large group, asking for pictures and pushing her around. Some even tried grabbing her bag. She was so shocked but she just ran. She ran out of the bathroom and they followed her. She grabbed onto Jaehyun, crying. He stared at her shocked.

"Hey what's wrong??" He asked. The sasaeng followed her, throwing toilet paper at her. The bodyguards pushed them back, getting the idols to safety.

"Hey are you ok?" Jaehyun asked, pulling her into a hug. She cried.

"I'm so tired, Jaehyun. I'm just so tired." She cried. He nodded, caressing her back.

When she had gotten home, she told Jaemin all about the situation. Jaemin couldn't help but tear up to listen to her suffer.

"Babe, I'm so sorry." He whispered to her as she feel asleep. Every day she looked out her window to see them waiting outside for her. She would barely even leave her house.

Another time they had taken things too far. She had been at the airport and they began throwing things at her. Hard things. One of them hit her in the head with a water bottle, causing her to fall over. In the crowd of bodyguards and her members, she fell, getting stepped on a few times.

When she came to, she was in the hospital. She had a fractured wrist and had a mild concussion.

She had begun to get really scared. She decided that it was getting out of hand and she wanted to go on live to finally say what was on her mind.

"Hi everyone." She said, to the camera softly. Hundreds of comments from fans were asking how she was and how her wrist was. She smiled at them.

"I'm doing good. So much better. Thank you guys! Jaemin and the other Dreamies showed me all the gifts you guys brought me! I read a bunch of your cards, they're so sweet!" She said, laughing while looking over at the stack in her room.

"Ok so I came here to talk about the situation. I don't really want to blame specific people. I do think I also need to apologize for how I handled the situation." She said. A bunch of fans started comforting her in the comments, letting her know that she didn't have to apologize.

"At the beginning when I was taking pictures of the people, I was doing it out of rage. I guess I also tried to get back at them because they didn't know how it felt. So I apologize if I took it too far."

"I also want them to please stop. I mean it has gone on too far." She said, pointing at her broken wrist.

"I'm getting really scared. I'm only 17 and I feel scared to just go outside because I'm afraid I'll get hurt again. We all love you guys and thank you so much for your support. I am really truly greatful. And I really love meeting you guys at stores and other places because most of you guys are calm and respectful and I really love that.

I am really asking that you guys respect our privacy and our free time, I mean we rarely get it. Sometimes in the position that we are in, our fans and other people, even myself, forget that we are normal people too. And I don't think a normal person would like it if they were chased out of a bathroom or followed to their favorite restaurant.

So I really am asking if you guys could please respect us and our privacy. Thank you."

She turned off the vlive, going to bed. She only hoped that the next day would be different.
