On March 16, Jia released her main single SOLO. She sat down with us to talk about the meaning behind the song. The music video shows the more independent, mature side of Jia. She hasn't really portrayed an image like this in NCT DREAM, however she has had more serious concepts in NCT U. However this song helped bring out the strong feminine side of her. She says that they lyrics are about her breaking up with a man and not needing him.

She describes her success in the lyrics "you're sittin' on your feelings, I'm sittin' on my throne" When we asked her if she was talking about Jaemin, she refused happily. 'actually, i'm not talking about anyone in particular, it's about me breaking up with that stigma about how women need a man to be successful. It's also about independence and in the music video, you can clearly see how independent I can be without my members.' Jia said in an interview.

Jia sat with the dream members in the living room. Haechan ran into their dorm.

"Hyejin! Why the hell didn't you tell me that the music video came out already!" He said. Everyone came out of their rooms.

"What?"

"Already?"

"YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO TELL US!" Chenle screamed. She sat on the couch with an innocent smile and shrugged. They all ran into the living room and turned on the TV. As they all sat down they started the mv.

"Hey who's dog is that?" Jisung asked. The scene where she was sitting on the chair in the pool

"Woah..." Haechan gasped.

"I don't think I've ever seen you wear a dress." Renjun commented. She smiled.

"You look pretty" Jaemin muttered in her ear. She blushed, intertwining her hand in his. They were now watching the part where she was wearing the big dress near the flowers.

"WOAHHH" Chenle yelled. She giggled.

"Wow. You actually look like a girl!" Haechan joked. She threw a pillow at him. They were at the part where she was in the laundry room.

"Oh no," she mumbled. She took of the pink dress, throwing it into the washing machine, earning loud screams from the guys.

"My eyes!" Jisung yelled.

"HOLY SHIT" Renjun screamed.

"YOUR A BABY!" Jeno screamed. She sat there shaking her head.

"Just watch!" She yelled. Jisung furrowed his eyebrows.

"Why is it snowing?" He asked. She rolled her eyes.

"Are you wearing fishnet stockings?" Jaemin asked. She turned to him.

"Why, does it turn you on?" She asked. He rolled his eyes, but a small blush appeared on his cheeks.

"Are you in a club?" Haechan asked. He gasped when a guy appeared on the screen.

"More importantly who is that?" He yelled. Chenle shook her head.

"That is NOT Jaemin hyung." He said. Jaemin looked at her.

"yeah that is not me." He said. She chuckled.

"Just watch!" She said, pointing at the screen.

"God, even more dresses." Renjun said. Jeno turned to him.

"Will you shut up about the dresses!?" Jeno argued.

"You never wear red lipstick, but you should." Haechan retorted. She laughed.

"Who's phone is that? we all know you don't have the iphoneX" Renjun teased. She pouted. They got to the part where she was sitting in the alleyway crying.

"Who broke your heart?" Haechan asked.

"It was probably the other dude!" Jaemin, teased.

"Jaemin hyung is better for you!" Chenle yelled.

"Wow, you can cry?" Jisung asked, amazed. The MV ended and they all got up to hug her.

"It was actually good" Haechan yelled. She laughed and shook her head.

"I can't wait to watch the other ones. Maybe next time you'll let us know... before it comes out," Jeno said. She smiled.
