"I insist. We would have a good time together." Hyejin said. They were still in the dreamies dorm. Hyejin was trying to find a way to get Chaeri away from Jaehyun. Jaemin started to notice how weird she was acting.

"Hyejin What are you doing?" He muttered. She moved away from him. He scoffed.

"I mean she is the guest. So she should get to choose how she wants to spend her vacation" Jaemin said, looking at his girlfriend. She clenched her teeth together.

"Thank you Jaemin," Chaeri said, looking at Hyejin, with a smug look. She sighed.

"He's right. What would you like to do, Unnie?" Hyejin said. Chaeri looked at Jaehyun.

"I would love a relaxing day with my friend here," She said,locking arms with Jaehyun. Hyejin clenched her fist. Jisung looked at her and then at Chaeri.

"U-uh is that all you want to do noona? I kind of miss hanging out with you." He said, looking at Hyejin.

"What about we all hangout together at the mall like we used to?" Jaehyun said. They all cheered and agreed. Everyone except for Chaeri and Areum.

"Ok well come back here to pick you guys up in an hour," Jaehyun said, leaving with Chaeri. Hyejin closed the door behind them.

"What is your problem with her?" Jaemin said. Hyejin crossed her arms.

"I told you already-" Hyejin started but got interrupted. Jeno stood up.

"Guys I don't think " Jaemin silenced him with his hand.

"Why are you trying to get her away from Jaehyun?" Chenle decided to speak up.

"Jaemin hyung I don-" Chenle was also interrupted. Hyejin furrowed her eyebrows.

"Are you jealous that there's another girl around?"

"Jaemin stop."

"Just stop! No one believes you so just stop trying!" He said. Everyone stood their in silence. Hyejin didn't say anything. Jaemin put his hand over his mouth.

"H-hyejin im."

"Wow. Okay then. It's always my fault, right Jaemin? . Because it usually me doing something wrong that leads to us fighting, right?" She said, walking to her room.

"What is wrong with you?" Jeno said. Jaemin sighed.

"Im so stupid"

"Well?" Chaeri said. Hyejin shrugged. Chaeri groaned.

"Ok well, Ms. Overprotective.' when did you become so depressed?" She asked. Hyejin sighed.

"Jaehyun wouldn't care about what your wearing. He cares about your personality." Hyejin said, staring at her phone. Chaeri groaned.

"Well I'm gonna go... do something else." Hyejin said, standing up. Chaeri scoffed.

"I thought you wanted to be with me you so I won't be around Jaehyun." She said. She turned around to look at her.

"You win. You can go out with him. Just be careful. He's a good guy, a really good guy. Don't hurt him." She said, walking away. Chaeri shrugged.

"That was easier than I thought." She said, as she continued to look for clothes.

Hyejin went to the food court where Mark, Haechan, Jeno and Chenle were. She walked over to the booth that they were sitting in.

"Get me a honeydew milk tea." She said, handing Haechan a $10 bill. He looked at her with his eyebrows raised.

"Please?" She added. He sighed and took out his own wallet.

"Im paying for you only because you got yelled at by your boyfriend this morning," He said, walking away. She groaned, plopping into the booth.

"Are you kidding me. Does everyone now know about Jaemin and I?" She said. Chenle shrugged, taking a sip from his bubble tea.

"Aren't you supposed to be with Chaeri? Your supposed to give her girl advice or something like that," Mark said. She shrugged.

"No im good. She probably knows more than I do." She said, crossing her arms.

"And why is that?"

"I'm a sixteen year old girl. Sh-she is more experienced. She has had more years in life. Jaemin was right. She knows you guys more than I do. And I don't know what im talking about." She said. Everyone was quiet.

"Hyejin, my mom always told me that if I don't feel right about something I shouldn't give up on trying to fix it." Jeno said. She furrowed her eyebrows.

"And did you?" She said, reaching over to grab one of Chenle's fries.

"Well, a lot of people didn't think I would get this far. They thought that I would only make it because im pretty not because I have talent," He said. She furrowed her eyebrows.

"W-well, There obviously wrong. Your an amazing dancer and rapper. So You followed your gut" She said. He took a sip of tea.

"And that's why I am here in the first place." He said. She sighed.

"Are you saying you believe me now about Chaeri?" She said. He shook his head.

"Nope." He said. Hyejin rolled her eyes.

"Im saying that you only need one person to believe in you. And that person is you." He said. She sighed.

"Your really think I could be right?" She asked. He shrugged.

"They don't call it a gut feeling for nothing." He said.

"Ok. Im gonna go... try again." She said, walking out. Haechan returned with her drink.

"A-are you kidding me. I was only gone for five minutes. H-how did she change her mind in five minutes? And I paid with my own money," He said, shaking his head.

They heard footsteps heading towards them. Hyejn grabbed her boba and ran away.

"Thank you for the Boba, Haechan!" She yelled from a distance.

Jaemin, Renjun, Jisung and Jaehyun were walking to the food court to meet up with the others.

"Jaemin I've never seen you not be into shopping.

What's wrong?" Jaehyun asked. He sighed.

"I said something to Hyejin that I probably shouldn't have said to her." He said. Jaehyun looked at him.

"You better not have hurt her," he said with a low voice. He sighed.

"I need to talk to her. I have to go find her." He said walking away. Jaehyun shook his head.

"What happened?" Jeno asked from behind them. The other guys walked over to them after receiving Renjuns text message.

"Something between Jaemin and Hyejin. Do you all know what happened?" He asked. They all looked at each other and then avoided eye contact with Jaehyun.

"You know something," he said.

"Uhhhhh. We should probably go catch up with Jaemin." Jisung said running in Jaemin's direction. The other boys ran after him. Jaehyun shook his head and followed them.

Hyejin ran into the store and stopped when she reached Chaeri. She stood their, gasping for air.

"You finished?" She said, in a smug voice. Hyejin shook her head.

"N-not yet," She panted. She inhaled and sighed loudly.

"Ok Im good." She said.

"Well?" She said. Hyejin stood up straight.

"Y-yes Your older than me. And y-yes you know the guys more than me. B-but I wont let you come here and bully me to give you what y-you want" She said. Chaeri scoffed.

"Your younger than me. No one will listen to you. So I will keep taunting you till I get what I want. And the only person who can help me get what I want is Jaehyun," She said. Hyejin took a step back and furrowed her eyebrows.

"How is Jaehyun gonna help you if you want him?" She asked. She stopped and looked at her with hatred in her eyes.

"You don't even like him! Your using him!" She said. Chaeri gasped.

"Wow. So your not as dumb as you look." She said. Hyejin scoffed, taking a step closer to her.

"you can pull on my arm as much as you want." She said in a low voice. She took one step closer, causing Chaeri to take a step back.

" You can rip my hair out until i'm bald." Chaeri was up against a clothing rack.

"But you will not use me or Jaehyun or anyone else to get you your fifteen minutes of fame." She said. Chaeri scoffed. She pushed the girl

aggressively until Hyejin's back was against the wall.

"Listen you brat. Jaehyun is the closest to me and nothing you say will change his mind about me. So I will force my way into his life and maybe yours." She said, a bit loud.

"What do you mean my life?" She asked. Chaeri grabbed her arm.

"When everyone gets tired of you, their gonna want someone else. Don't you like the sound of 'Chaeri: NCT only girl'" She said. Hyejin pushed her arm away.

"They cant even do that" She said, scoffing. Chaeri released her arm and grabbed her hair.

"Unfortunately the cant. I bet no one likes hearing your annoying voice." She said. Hyejin was tearing up out of frustration.

"I'm done listening to your negative comments about me. I'm going to tell Jaehyun." She said, trying to pull away. Chaeri gripped her hair harder.

" He is not going to believe your stupid little-"

"Chaeri!." He said. Chaeri looked over. The other boys walked over.

"What's going on- Hey what are you doing?" Jaemin said. Chaeri quickly let go of her hair.

"J-jaehyun" She gasped. Jaehyun looked at Hyejin and then back at Chaeri. Hyejin his behind Chaeri. Jaemin looked at Hyejin with worry in his eyes.

"S-she was right. A-and we didn't believe her." Jaemin said.

"R-right about what?" Jaehyun said.

"Hyejin suspected her from the beginning,-"

"Its fine, Jaemin." Hyejin said. Jaehyun sighed.

"J-Jae. I-I'm sorry." Chaeri said, reaching over to him. He flicked her hand away.

"If you ever think to come over, text me and do what you did to Hyejin again, I will get a restraining order" he said lowering his voice. She scoffed.

"You wouldn't. She has a boyfriend, why do you care so much about her?" She asked, folding her arms. He moved closer to her.

"She's my younger sister. You mess with her and we have an issue. So I hope you enjoy the rest of your vacation. Don't ever speak to me again. Now get the hell out of my way." He said.

She scoffed and moved to the side to reveal Hyejin, who refused to make eye contact.

Jaehyun slowly walked over and grabbed her hand.

"Hyejinnie, Let's go home." He said. All of them left, following their Hyung.

"So you didn't think to come to me after she hurt you the first time?" He asked, placing a cup of hot chocolate in front of her. Hyejin shrugged.

They arrived at home safely after explaining to her manager what had happened.

"I thought you wouldn't believe me. You know her better and she's older-"

"But if something or someone is bothering you, you shouldn't have to hide your feelings. I would have at least confronted her with the situation."

He said. She looked at the ground. He put his hand on hers.

"She was going to use you and the rest of the members to be famous. She just wanted fame. I didn't care that she pulled my hair. I just couldn't picture you being hurt." She said. He scoffed.

"And I can't believe I trusted her. For all my life." He said. Hyejin looked at him.

"I kinda want to punch her in the face." She said. Jaehyun chuckled.

"As bad as it sounds, so do I." He said. Hyejin started tearing up. He looked at her with dad eyes.

"She made me feel so small. She made me feel useless. I haven't been bullied by anyone like her since I was younger." She said. Jaehyun sighed.

"I want to hurt her for what she did to you. You shouldn't have to go through that." He said. She smiled.

"There is a reason why you are my favorite, Oppa" she said. Jaehyun chuckled.

"Oh so your not gonna say I'm your favorite?" She said. Jaehyun looked at her and then looked away.

"I see how it is. You and Chenle Hyung have some sort of bond." She said. He laughed.

"Yeah but if I had to make a list, you would be in the top 3" he said. She sighed.

"I wouldn't be first, though," she muttered. Jaehyun chuckled and shook his head.

Hyejin closed the door gently behind her, afraid of alarming her members, who were asleep.

"Your back," a low voice said from behind her. She spun around quickly holding her breath. She saw a shadow sitting on her couch. She turned on the light and sighed with relief when she saw Jaemin's face.

"Oh god. You scared me." She said. She put her bag down and sat on the couch. She did not sit next to him.

She sat a bit far and refused to look at him. She played with her fingers for a while before he spoke up.

"She was like an older sister to me. She helped me with so much. However your my girlfriend. And I should have given you a chance to explain, or defend you. And I didn't I'm so sorry." He said. She sighed, still refusing to make eye contact.

"you didn't have my back." She said, her voice breaking a bit.

"Your always supposed to support me and be there to defend me." She said, looking up at him.

"I always defend you or protect you even when your wrong. I do it because I love you. And I'm there for you. But today you weren't." She said. He moved closer to her.

"I haven't been a good boyfriend lately. I'm sorry. But I love you so much. And I want to make it up to you. Because fighting is gonna make things worse," he said. She sighed. He put her head into his hands.

He pulled her close to him. Her smooth plump lips connected with his. He let his lips hover over hers, making it harder for her to pull away. She climbed on top of his lap, deepening the kiss. His hands wrapped around her waist.

He nibbled on her lip, causing her to let out a sigh. She slowly pulled away from the kiss to catch her breath.

"D-did I do something wrong?" He asked. She sighed.

"Y-you can't fixed this by making out with me." She said. He looked up at her.

"Ok. I'm sorry." He said. She sighed.

"You we're talking about fighting before we kissed. And I just realized, we've been doing a lot of that lately." She said. He looked up at her.

"You think we fight a lot?" He asked her. She ran her fingers through his hair.

"Yeah. Well we have been fighting a lot recently. And you can't argue with me when I say I'm not the one who always starts them." She said. He sighed.

"You can't be serious. You interrupted the moment to talk about how much I've failed to be a good boyfriend?" He said. She sighed and stood up.

"I don't want to argue with you right now Jaemin. Good night" she said, walking away. Before she entered her room, she looked back.

"I will apologize for yelling and raising my voice at you. But I won't apologize for following my gut. When I have a feeling about something, I'm not gonna stop just because you tell me to." She said before closing her bedroom door. He sighed and buried his face in his hands.

"What am I going to do with her" he mumbled before going to his room to sleep.
