"All right, are we ready for warm-ups?" Coach Bombay asked as he walked into the changing room in a suit. Everyone started to comment on the suit.

"Nice jacket. Did you get two pairs of pants with that?" Averman said, making the team laugh more. (Y/n) watched as Fulton and Dean approached Coach Bombay. Immediately she knew what was going to happen.

"Good night last night, coach?" Fulton asked.

"Yeah, it was fine." Coach Bombay said before looking at today's lineup.

"What'd ya do?" Dean asked, knowing what he did.

"Oh, I...Just watched some t.v, got to be early." Coach Bombay lied.

"But not without a little deseret, right?" Dean asked before walking away.

"A little ice cream, maybe?" Fulton added before leaving. Before Coach could think more about it, Averman showed up.

"Nice haircut. What, ya lose a bet." Averman said, when he didn't receive any answer he walked away with (Y/n).

As the team warmed up, (Y/n) and Averman stood on both sides of Goldberg.

"Live from Los Angeles, welcome to the junior goodwill games." Averman said into his stick.

"Tonight's matchup, Team U.S.A faces off against team Iceland." (Y/n) adds while talking into her stick.

"We have with us Greg Goldberg, goaltender for Team U.S.A." Averman said.

"Greg, what is it gonna take to beat these feisty Icelanders tonight?" (Y/n) asked before she and Averman moved their sticks in front of Goldberg.

"I think it will take a supreme individuale effort by me, Greg Goldberg." Goldberg said before a whistle cut them off.

"Let's play hockey kids." the referee said.

"Okay, cut it." both Averman and (Y/n) said while moving their hands.

'Hi, everybody. Welcome to today's game. This is a very important match up, Team U.S.A. against Iceland, in what could be the preview of the championship game.'

Team U.S.A huddle together before cheering and breaking apart. Half the team sat on the bench while the rest got into positions.

(Y/n) was starting the game for the first time in a while. She stood in front of the puck and glared at the Iceland player before her. The Iceland player then spoke in icelandic.

"What does that mean?" (Y/n) asked.

"You'll find out, babe." The iceland player said making (Y/n) cringe in disgust.

The moment the puck dropped the two players started shoving to try and get it. Dean then split the two apart making the iceland player fall.

"Come on, fool. Get up." Dean said. The referee then came up and started talking to him.

"You ran at him unprovoked." the referee said.

"Huh?" Dean said before moving his hand and accidentally knocking the reff down.

"Calm down, son. You're out of the game." the referee said.

"Give me a break!" Dean exclaimed as he skated towards the door of the ring.

"You're throwing him out?! You can't do that! It's three seconds into the game!" Coach Bombay exclaimed, not wanting to lose his best enforcer.

Dean groaned before slamming the door open and walking towards the changing rooms. It didn't take long for Iceland to score. In the crowd the same kid from before yelled.

"Hey, Goldberg! I bet if that puck was a cheese burger you'd stop it." He exclaimed before laughing. On the Ice Dwayne got hit making him flip before falling. This continued happening to all of Team U.S.A making them wish Portman was there.

Dwayne got control of the puck but started showboating again giving Iceland the opportunity to steal it.

Inside the changing rooms, Dean started throwing things in frustration.

"I can't believe this is happening! I should be out there!" Dean exclaimed as he watched his team mates getting crushed.

Back home, Jans watched the whole game on his t.v. His eyes widen when he sees Bombay.

'Here's Gunnar Stahl again for Iceland. Team U.S.A. can't stop him. Back hand save by Goldberg.'

Adam takes the puck behind his net before moving forwards.

'Captain Adam Banks has it for Team U.S.A. now he gets knocked over heels.'

Before Adam got knocked down, he managed to pass the puck to Mendoza. Mendoza flies down the ice with the puck before getting tripped causing him to slam into the border.

"Are you okay?" (Y/n) asked as she helped him up.

"Yeah but the ref has to call something." Luis responded. On the bench coach switched someone out for Ken. Poor little Kenny didn't make it far in the game before getting smushed. He then sat back down while someone switched with him

Back in the changing room, Dean broke a chair when he slammed it on his knee.

"Come on give me one more chance against these guys!" Dean exclaimed.

Ice land managed to score one more point before the half time started.

"Where is your concentration? You guys are running around like headless chickens!" Coach Bombay said.

"We're trying our best." Jesse said.

"Well, your best isn't good enough anymore. Blow this game and we are one loss away from illumination .You guys might want to head home, but I sure as heck don't." Coach Bombay said before walking away.

"My, that was inspiring." Averman said.

"Someone better give him a medal." (Y/n) added as she sat next to her best friend.

'Four nothing Iceland, as we head for the final period. I hope bombay's got some magic up his sleeve.'

Iceland scored again making Coach take Goldberg off the ice. Julie took his spot, only to be thrown out when she hit two Iceland players.

Fulton got control of the puck, before aiming and landing his signature hit. The Iceland goalie caught it but ended up with a bruised hand.

(Y/n) got control of the puck before skating down to the goal. She then got purposely slammed into the side making her fall onto the ground. She slowly got up and made her way towards the bench in obvious pain.

Dean saw this on the tv and started hitting stuff.

"I should be out there making sure she doesn't get hurt!" he exclaimed before hitting stuff again. At the same time Julie walked in and just stared at him.

"Hi." Dean said while panting from frustration and anger.

"I know how you feel." Julie said before walking away.

Adam had gotten the puck before avoiding multiple Iceland players and scoring. Team U.S.A. started to cheer as Adam smiled. He then stretched his hand out only for an Iceland player to slam a stick in it. Team U.S.A started crowding Adam asking if he was okay.

As the referee placed the Iceland player in the box, Dean recognized him as not only the player that hurt Adam, but the same player that hurt (Y/n) and got him kicked from the game.

"Sanderson!" Dean exclaimed, now fully dressed and out of uniform. Dean then walked down to where the box was.

"You're mine! I want a piece of you, Sanderson! Your mine!" Dean exclaimed, Sanderson only chuckled pissing Dean off more.

"Oh, you think it's funny?!" Dean exclaimed before jumping onto the glass. Two police officers then showed up and pulled him away.

The rest of the game continued with Team U.S.A getting beaten by Iceland. In the end Iceland won twelve to one. The team made their way back inside the changing rooms where they found Dean and Julie. The first thing Dean did was pull (Y/n) aside.

"Are you alright?" he asked, worry evident in his voice.

"Yeah I'm okay." (Y/n) responded softly. Before either could say anything else Coach Bombay walked in. As everyone sat down, Fulton stood next to Dean who stood behind the bench (Y/n) was on.

"Twelve to one. You know what word comes to mind when you think of that? Pathetic!" Coach Bombay exclaimed.

"You guys were brought here to play hockey." Coach Bombay said.

"What about you?" Jesse asked.

"What about me, Jesse?" Coach asked.

"Coach Stansson knew everything about us. They were ready for us." Julie added.

"Yeah, and you spend your time driving around in convertibles and talking to those sponsor fools." Luis said.

"Or hanging with the Iceland lady. We saw you two Saturday night." Fulton said, not caring if he got in trouble anymore.

"Eating ice cream with the enemy, huh, coach." Dean added. The rest of the team, minus (Y/n), started whispering among themselves.

"Hey. What I do is none of your business. Is that clear?" Coach said. The team then started taking off their gear.

"Don't take those pads off. Everyone stay in your gear. We have practise." Coach said, making everyone groun.

For the next couple hours the team spent training and doing sprints. By the time they got home it was almost ten and everyone went to sleep.

{I know ten isn't that late but you'll see why.}
