The team finally arrived in California. The team looked around as they arrived at the colosseum. Later that day the team is winning with a lead of six-to-nothing against Trinidad.
Adam had the puck before passing it to Connie. Connie avoided some players before scoring. The U.S.A bench got up and started to cheer. As Jesse sat down a voice behind him caught his attention.
"Yeah, high-five some more. Man, my little brother could score on these guys." a young boy yelled from behind the glass.
"Then why don't you go bother him, then." Jesse exclaimed.
"Ha-ha! I ain't even got a little brother." the boy said. Before Jesse could say anything else Coach Bombay appeared.
"Hey, Jesse! Quit gabbin' and get on the ice." Coach Bombay ordered. Jesse then got on the ice and got control of the puck.
Jesse neared the goal but knocked off his feet before he could score. Obviously pissed, Jesse got up and tried to fight with the other player, which led him to getting put in the penalty box. Knocking on the glass made Jesse turn to see the same boy from before.
"He dissed you bad, G!" He exclaimed before blowing on the glass. This only pissed Jesse off more.
Back on the bench, Dean and Fulton looked at each other before nodding and fist bumping. Both boys put on a bandana under their helmets before getting on the ice.
"All right, Fulton, let's have some fun!" Dean exclaimed as he skated behind the net.
"Yeah, Portman, let's do it!" Fulton exclaimed as he followed Dean.
Both boys started pushing the players aside, while Mendoza and (Y/n) skated with the puck behind them. Both boys laughed while coach silently watched as they neared the goal.
"All right, Portman, take it!" Fulton exclaimed as
(Y/n) passed the puck to Dean before backing off with Mendoza. Dean gladly took the puck and scored. The team cheered as they all joined in for a hug.
"Thank you! Thank you very much!" Both Dean and Fulton said as they bowed in front of the crowd.
"Look at those guys! They're the Bash Brothers!" Tibbles exclaimed with a laugh as he stood with the rest of the sponsors.
Back on the bench Adam looked at the crowd instead of the game. Charlie noticed this and decided to speak up.
"Hey, ya got a girl in the stands?" Charlie joked.

"No, scouts, man. Look at 'em." Adam said as he pointed out two older guys with books.
"Don't worry about scouts, Adam. Just play your best." Charlie said
Back on the ice (Y/n) loses the puck. The Trinidad kid races down the ice, avoiding players before scoring. The Trinidad bench starts cheering, while people in the stands start to play music. The team then huddle and start to dance on the ice.
"Why don't we have something like that?" (Y/n) asked as she stopped next to Guy. Guy chuckled before getting off the ice. (Y/n) quickly high fives Connie before sitting down.
Connie gets control of the puck before avoiding players and passing to Ken. Ken then takes the puck behind the net before turning and scoring. All of team U.S.A huddle on the ice to cheer for their win.
🏒🦆🏒🦆🏒
"Ladies and gentlemen, team U.S.A hockey. And the man chosen to lead them to the gold, Gordon Bombay." Tibbles announced as the team lined up behind a mic stand.
"Can we get the Hendrix bear up here for pictures." Tibbles adds as a bear moscot appears and stands next to the kids. A blonde reporter then raised her hand to ask a question.
"Team U.S.A, how does it feel competing on an international level here in Los Angeles?" She asked.
"Uh-" coach Bombay tried to say before the kids cut him off.
"Love it!" one of them said.
"Feels good!" Goldberg added. Another lady then stood up behind Tibbles.
"Coach Bombay, the vikings from Iceland are the heavy favorites. Their coach has already guaranteed victory. How are you going to handle them?" The reporter asked.
"Um, hard work. I think our team is ready to go up against the best in the world. We're not worried about 'em. Iceland may be tough but we're team U.S.A and we're going all the way." Coach Bombay responded. The team and the reporters started to cheer as they got ready to leave.
"Team U.S.A is going down." someone said making the team turn and spot Iceland and their coach.
"See you on the ice Bombay." The Coach said before leaving.
"That's Stansson. Coach of the Iceland team. He's wound a little tight." Tibbles said while standing next to Bombay.
"Stansson from the N.H.L.? Wolf 'The Dentist' Stansson is coaching. You didn't tell me that." Coach Bombay said before walking away with Tibbles.

"That guy's a dentist?" Ken asked.
"That was his nickname. Played one year of pro, and collected more teeth then goals. He even punched out his own coach." Charlie answered.
"I heard they ran him out of the league and the country." Julie added.
"That's his team? Those guys are huge!" Ken added before leaving with Charlie and Julie.

At the dorms Goldberg, Luis, and Ken popped up from the ground next to a sleeping Dwayne. Goldberg slowly moved his hand so that Ken could put shaving cream on it. Luiz then reached for his cowboy hat and took the feather out before putting the hat on his head. Goldberg slowly dragged the feather down Dwayne's face.
Dwayne then wiped his hand across his face making the boys hold in their laughter. While the boys continued to laugh and mess with Dwayne, across the hall the two Bash Brothers got ready for bed. Dean and Fulton both downed a tall glass of milk before placing the cups on a dresser.
" Little tune-age to go to sleep by?" Fulton asked. Dean nodded making Fulton play some rock music. Dean then turned off the lights before getting into bed.
"Sweet dreams, dude." Dean said.
Back in the other room, Dwayne's face was caked in shaving cream. The three pranksters kept laughing while Dwayne snored in his sleep. Dwayne then opened his eyes and started screaming causing the boys to break down before running away.
With the Bash brothers, they were using their hockey sticks as guitars while jumping around the room. They continued doing this until their bedroom door slammed open and the light turned on. (Y/n) entered to see both boys frozen on their beds with glasses and their hockey sticks.
"The girls and I can hear everything." (Y/n) growled while pointing at the wall towards her room.
"Now either both of you shut up or I'll make you." (Y/n) added making the boys nod their head. (Y/n) smiled sweetly before speaking.
"Good-night." she said before turning off the light and closing the door. After that little scare both boys went to sleep.
🏒🦆🏒🦆🏒
'It's been all team U.S.A tonight. They lead Italy six to nothing. They've really dominated this game. Italy with the puck across the ice.'
Team U.S.A. tries to protect their goal while Italy has control of the puck.
'D'Agistino shoots. Glove save by Goldberg.'
"Have no fear! Goldberg is here!" Goldberg exclaimed after throwing the puck at his teammates.
On the side of the ring, the referee jumps onto the wall just as Portman slams someone into the side. Portman then passes the puck to Mendoza who passses it to (Y/n). (Y/n) stops and aims before shooting and scoring a goal.
"Yeah!" she exclaimed as the team hugged her. Team U.S.A beat Italy that day eleven to nothing.
🏒🦆🏒🦆🏒
That night the Bash Brothers and (Y/n) had snuck out to get food. As they passed a group of guys catcalling (Y/n), Dean placed his arm on her shoulder. He then spotted two girls walking and nudged Fulton.
"Fulton, talk to 'em." Dean said. Dean walked behind with (Y/n) while Fulton tried to talk to the girls.
"Hey, ladies. Nice night for a stroll wouldn't you say." Fulton said. Both girls laughed before walking away. (Y/n) started laughing while leaning into Dean. Dean on the other hand encouraged his friend.
"Hey, man, no curfew is going to keep us down." Dean said making (Y/n) and Fulton agree. Something caught (Y/n)'s eye making her face shine with happiness.
"Dean, can we get ice cream?" (Y/n) asked while tugging on his arm and pointing to the shop. Dean smiled at her before agreeing.
As the trio approached the shop Coach Bombay and the iceland trainer walked out of the shop. Fulton quickly backed up behind a tree, while Dean grabbed (Y/n)'s waist and pulled her back.
While the two adults walked away talking about the difference of Iceland and Greenland the three teens slowly walked out of their hiding spot.
"Look at this. She's an Iceland chick. What's he doin' with her? Great coach we got." Dean said. (Y/n) stayed quietly not really believing what she was seeing. Before Dean could walk away (Y/n) grabbed his hand and pulled him towards the ice cream shop.
"We're still getting ice cream. We can be grumpy after." (Y/n) said, making Dean chuckle and let her pull him. Fulton watched the two for a second with a smile on his face. The girl he considers family and his best friend ending up together doesn't sound bad.

Jingyi Bo is in Fates Parallel (An Irreverent Fanfiction)
Fates Parallel is a gripping cultivation story, following the adventures of a half-spirit girl with nothing as she grows both as a cultivator and as a person after arriving at the Grand Academy of Spiritual, Martial and Arcane Arts. It features fleshed-out, believable characters, wonderful world-building that informs the course of the plot, and girls who hold hands. Fates Parallel is a very good story, and you should read it! Jingyi Bo is in Fates Parallel is a somewhat tongue-in-cheek look at this same world from a different angle, following a totally regular girl who brings bad luck with her wherever she goes. It features shallow, joke-name characters, a focus on the least interesting parts of a fantastic world, and girls who hold hands (potentially). Jingyi Bo is in Fates Parallel is an amazingly hilarious (so says me) fanfiction and you should read it! (This is a Totally Author Approved Spin-Off (Fanfiction) for Fates Parallel, which you can find in a number of places including here on RoyalRoad! Please do read it!)

To Blunt The Sharpest Claw
The Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels are a series of New Fable genre novels that involve cats and dogs and high adventure and romance and espionage and food-fights and hotels and explosions and car chases. With large casts, exotic locations and an absurdity only possible in the absence of human characters, the Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels blend Wind in the Willows with James Bond, though with more cafes and fewer badgers. This submission is the third title in its Morigan Trilogy, beginning two-thirds of the way through the series' longest adventure yet. Here's a quick recount of what's happened so far: When Oscar Teabag-Dooven, a Velvet Paw of Asquith, is ordered to investigate how a mysterious poet, the Ar'dath-Irr, is able to travel instantaneously around the world, two very bad things happen. Firstly, he meets Lydia, an insane librarian who punches everyone in the face, and secondly, the Ar'dath-Irr reveals he is intent on taking over the world. Although this second thing might be considered worse than the first, Oscar feels differently following Lydia’s destruction of a cafe, a library and his face in one afternoon. In comparison, thwarting world domination just seems easier. Along with Binklemitre, a fellow Velvet Paw of Asquith, and Lydia, Oscar infiltrates the Ar’dath-Irr’s realm of dark poetry to discover the dog not only intends wrenching the world apart but has no intention of cleaning up afterwards. As a result, Oscar decides it’s all too hard and goes home to have a bath. After lots of arguing and the sort of food fight that posh restaurants were invented for, Lydia and Binklemitre convince him that they must stop the Ar’dath-Irr for several reasons, one of them quite serious. A vibrant cast of characters collide as Oscar, Lydia and Binklemitre battle the Ar’dath-Irr and his disciples in an adventure involving exploding cafés and appalling hotels, car chases and inadvertent surgery, dreadful poetry, lots of arguments and at least one temper-tantrum, all of which draw the three into dark and convoluted corners of a world they weren’t aware existed. Moreover, any chance of sitting down and discussing things over some buns disappears when Lydia punches the Ar’dath-Irr in the face. This results in her having a psychotic episode and Oscar getting run over by an ambulance. Although Binklemitre suffers neither, he witnesses both, which is almost as dreadful, though not nearly so messy. An enormous battle ensues, followed by a dinner party and then everything explodes.
