I do this thing with my hands when I get nervous. I clench and unclench my fists and crack my knuckles. My dad told me that I used to do than when I was a child too.
Yet I don't think that I have ever done it as much as I have today. I feel like a love struck fourteen year old who just got asked on their first date. It is unlike me.
I have gone on dates before, I have had boyfriends. But it never felt like this.
The clock is now 14.57 and I am waiting for him to knock on my door. You could almost belive that I am counting the seconds.
Three knocks.
I open the door and there he is. I have seen him standing there so many times before and everytime it feels special.
"Hi." I breath, not really knowing what else to say.
His eyes fickers over my whole body before he says anything. "" He says with a grin on his face.
I am getting more curious as times passes by. He holds my hand as he leads me out to his car. My cold hand looks tiny in his big warm one.
He opens the passangerdoor and I get in the car. "What a gentleman." All the anxiety I felt before is now replaced with a warm feeling.
"" He grins and starts the car.
The car ride is long but pleasant. We laugh, we talk, we sing. I try to get out of him where we are going but he refuses to tell me.
We have been in the car for an hour and Blain says that there is an hour left. We are no longer in the small town where we live.
The music is now more quiet. My hands is still in his. I can feel him sneeking quick glances at me and I do the same to him. I think of the lyrics playing in the background, they are perfect.

He draws patterns over the back of my hand and over my knuckles, it makes me feel dizzy.
He brings my hand to his lips and places a perfect kiss on my hand, at this moment I feel perfectly happy. Happier than I felt in a long time.
