The protagonist wanted to live without drawing attention, but he got acquainted with the dark elf Ariana and received her request.

Also keep in mind that this story is technically unfinished. I put this aside in October of 2016 after completing what you can call the "first season" of what was going to be a multipart series. Even though the entire story remains unfinished, things do end in a somewhat satisfactory manner.
