A few days passed with a lot of work in the court. Anirudh had recovered now. They had a lot of cases to handle and Anirudh had even more work about the zamindari laws. Kadambiri was thankfully saved and her father had got her married in another village. Bondita had even taught her for some days, but she seemed least interested, being madly in love with her fiance.
"Dada what's this letter?" Batuk had asked Anirudh one fine evening, when they both were sitting in his study. Anirudh looked up from his files at him and snatched the folded letter from his brother and tucked it inside a file.
"How many times do I need to tell you, not to touch my things, Batuk?"he said with a stern voice, making Batuk look down. Though Batuk had started going to the college, he was still a kid at heart. And he really didnt like when his Dada scolded him.
"You only love Boudi now!... You have forgotten me Dada, right?"he said with little tears brimming in his eyes. Anirudh sensed his sadness and got up and walked towards him.
"You know it's not like that!... I love you the most!... My little 'Mote Zamindar'!" He said poking his stomach and making him tickle.
"Don't call me that!!!" Batuk cried in between his laughter.
Anirudh hugged him and softly patted his head. He had always been the best friend to his brothers and wanted to be a good brother for them too.
Soon Bondita came in with a tray and kept it on the table.
"Here Pati Babu your coffee!... And here's your Chocolate milk, Batuk!" She said handing them their respective beverages.
Batuk quickly gulped in his favourite drink while Anirudh sipped his coffe slowly, enjoying it to the fullest. Batuk kept the glass on the tray and wiping his mouth, he said, "Boudi, you know, Dada said he loves me the most!... Even more than you!" He smirked and Anirudh nearly choked on his coffee.
"When did I say so?"he asked Batuk, but Bondita interrupted with a sweet smile.
"That's completely fine Batuk!... I also love you more than Pati Babu!..."she said winking and making Batuk laugh. Batuk soon went away.
"Don't forget to brush your teeth before you sleep, Batuk"Anirudh shouted from behind and as he saw him leave, he kept the coffee cup on the table and inched closer to Bondita, tucking his hands in his pant pockets.

"So what were you saying?... You love him more than me?"he asked raising his eyebrow.
"So?... You too said that, right?" She smirked at him, leaning onto the table.
"He is my little brother."he argued.
"So is mine!"she replied.
"Bonditaaa"he said in a fake anger.
"Patii Babuuuuu"she too imitated him and they both bursted out laughing.
"Okay that's all fine, but I have something important to tell you!"he said and pulled out that piece of paper fron the file.
"Here, this is a letter I recieved yesterday. Its from a subordinate of Sri Aurobindo Ghose!"he told proudly.
"Aurobindo Babu?!"she said with excitement."The one who was once a famous nationalist and now has renounced everything to become a Maharishi?!" She asked recalling what she had read in the newspaper.
"Yes, him!"he replied. "And, as he has left all these things long back, he wants me to help him collect some important information!' He told her.
"What information?"she asked nervously.
"Its just that I need to attend a British Viceroy's party and go and collect some personal information about the next attack, the company is planning! And then this message will be passed to the Krantikari sangathan and they will stop this attack on it very initial stage!"he told her softly, knowing that she would be worried.
"But it might harm you!"she said as expected.
"But if I don't do this, it will harm a lot many people, it can cause their death!!!" He said, trying to convince her.
"But Pati Babu...."she argued, but he stopped her midway, raising his hand.
"Desh ke aage kuch nahi Bondita, na Pyaar, na Rishte, na Jaan!.."he said in a firm voice. His words were clearly scaring her.
Bondita looked down for a moment and then walked a few steps ahead.
"Mere liye bhi Pati Babu!.. Aur iss hi liye, main bhi chalungi aapke saath!.... Uss party mein bhi aur vo information dhundhne bhi!..."she announced.
"No Bondita, I can't take you along!.."he said coming forward. "I can't risk your life at any cost!" He argued.
"Sorry, but this time I am not asking you, Pati Babu!... I am just telling you my decision."she said. "And if I am brave enough to risk your life, you are still braver!... Please let me come along."she said.

"Hmm..."he nodded with a forced smile. "Fine, you can."
She got happy and hugged him tightly. He too hugged her back and kissed her head being proud. He was proud to have such a wife.
"Now will you come for the dinner?"she asked and he followed her with a smile.
"Acha Bondita, what I was saying is...."he said when they reached half way out the study. She turned back and interrupted,"I know, its a secret! And I wont tell it to anyone!... Actually, I am quite excited!" She told him and he just smiled.

The next day, Bondita was helping Bihari babu in cleaning the hall, when Anirudh entered with a young man. The man had worn a white dhoti kurta and had a great physique. He had perfectly oiled moustaches and his hair well combed. He was slightly taller than Anirudh and had a stern face even at such a young age.
"Bondita!"Anirudh called out. "Please come to study with us and ya, ask koyeli to bring tea for us too." He added.
"No! The man interrupted."I don't drink tea!... Its a foreign product, Barrister Babu."he told.
Bondita stopped and looked at him, she was impressed by his love for the nation and smiled sweetly.
"So, shall I get you a glass of Aam Pora Shorbot?!" She asked. "That is quite Indian."she said proudly and the man nodded, smiling at her. He liked how freely this woman was talking to an unknown man, without any fear.
"Shall we proceed?"Anirudh asked, noticing them smiling and both the men headed to the study.
Bondita came in after a few minutes with the glasses of shorbot. She was leaving when Anirudh stopped her.
"Bondi!.. He is here for that mission, I think you should stay."he suggested and Bondita sat down on the sofa beside Anirudh.
"Is your wife too a part of your mission, Barrister Babu?"the man asked.
"Yes, she is... a part of everything I do."Anirudh said, smiling at Bondita and she looked down blushing.
"That's Great!... Infact, if I am not wrong, you are Bondita!... Barrister Bondita Anirudh Roy Chowdhary?!".... He said, recalling the familiar name. "Oh yes!... The first female Barrister of Tulsipur!... And one of the bery few in Bengal!" He added excitedly, while Anirudh looked at Bondita with pride and she just blushed at such an introduction.
"Yes, I am that." She replied " You know a lot about me...and I am keen to know about you!..." She said smiling at him, which unknowingly, made Anirudh's heart twitch. He himself didn't know wy he felt so, but he just did.
"Well, I am a servant of my motherland, my Bharat!... Thats all my identity. And for my name, My parents named me Chandresh. But I like being called a 'Krantikari'. You may call me the same."he saud sweetly, to which she smiled even more sweetly.
"Or... Dada, maybe!..."Anirudh blurted out.
"No, I like Krantikari Babu!..."she announced and both of them giggled, leaving Anirudh in a weird situation, which he himself couldn't decipher.
"Okay, so let's talk about work!"Anirudh said. "So Bondita, Chandresh Babu is gonna accompany us in the party, as my brother. He is gonna be with us throughout, so that if in case, we are stuck in a problem, he can bring us out safely. But still, we have ti be really careful." Anirudh told her and she too listened attentively.
"Yes!.. And Bondita ji, it would be better if you keep a little, kitchen knife with you.So that, if in case you are in a problem, you can save yourself."Chandresh tild her and she nodded.
"Okay then, the plan is all set!... And ya, the party is today evening!... So lets hope for the best!" Anirudh said.
"Yes! .... Thankyou, Barrister Babu." Chandresh said and stood up, bidding a farewell.
"Where are you going?.... Ths kunch is all ready, you need to have it with us today krantikari babu!..." Bondita announced with a smile.
"No, no!.. I have to leave." Chandresh replied.
But Bondita made a puppy face saying, "Please, Krantikari Babuuuu!"
"Okay, how can I refuse to that innocent smile now. You remember of my childhood friend!.."he said smiling at her and they all headed towards the dining table.
