Bondita's POV....

I was sitting alone in the beautifully decorated room..... My mother-in-law and other women had came to drop me to the room and make me comfortable.... But obviously their jokes only made me more nervous!....Though I know Anirudh ji.... Oh... I mean Pati Babu!.... And he is not a stranger to me.... But we have met only for two times before our marriage!...

The first time we met was just like a typical arranged marriage meeting!... We were sent to talk alone.... But Couldn't speak a word!...just talked about our casual surroundings!... And the second meet was yet more weird!... It was a party organised by Binoy uncle... I mean... Binoy Baba!...There too we couldn't talk much.... He just smiled at me once!...

I sat down on the bed... Thinking what is gonna happen next?!... And yes... I was really nervous!... The flowers on the bed made me feel special though!...Afterall, I have always loved flowers!....

Suddenly the door opened.... And He slightly came in... With his eyes lowered!... I could hear a few of his friends talking outside.... I was sure he too had to undergo the same embarrassment and nervousness as me...

He came and sat on the bed in front of me.... I must say he looked really handsome!... And I know this since the very first time I saw his picture in the newspaper!... Baba showed it to me nearly 2 years ago.... When he was probably in London!... Since then I had started feeling something for him... Something which I never felt before!..... He looked upto me... I could see his eyes as deep as the ocean!.... But what I could not see was happiness!... Love!... Maybe he was nervous!.... And that had masked all his feelings...

Suddenly he spoke up!....

Anirudh-: Bondita.... Vo... Mujhe aapse kuch kehna hai...

Bondita-: Ji Barrister babu!... Kahiye na!...

Anirudh-: Vo...main... Main vo... (He closed his eyes and took a deep breath)... Main kisi.. Aur se Pyaar karta hu!.. Aur yeh shaadi bas ek samajhauta hai.... Main nhi chaahta tha ki aapki Zindagi barbaad ho!... Par main kya karta!... Meri maa ne mujhe Kasam di thi... Ki main aapse vivaah karlu!...Isliye main inkaar bhi nahi kar paya!.... Main jaanta hu maine bahut bada gunaah kiya hai!... Iske liye main maafi bhi nahi maang sakta!... Aap mujhe jo saza dengi, mujhe manzoor hogi!.... Main bas aapse pyaar nahi kar paaunga!.. Aap chaahein toh yeh rishta tod sakti haim!... Main samhaal lunga.... sab kuch!...

He said it all in one go...he knew if he stopped... He wont be able to continue...

Bondita felt as if the world around her just stopped!... She felt as if her world was turned upside down!... A moment ago she was so happy!.. The feeling of starting a new life was making her nervous yet happy!... But now!.. Now her happiness had turned into her misery!... Her new life ended even before it could start!... The flowers around her seemed like thorns to her now!... Her heart had broken into a thousand pieces!... But still... She collected her courage and the shattered pieces of her heart... And spoke up with her trembling lips and teary eyes which looked straight into his nervous eyes.....

Bondita-: Kisse pyaar karte hain aap?!...

Anirudh-: Saudamini Bhaumik!... Vo... meri bachpan ki dost hai.... Hum dono bachpan se saath hi khele hain!... Vo bhi mujhse bahut pyaar karti hai!... Par humaari shaadi sambhav nahi!...kyunki mere Ma-baba aur Kaka ko Saudamini bilkul pasand nahi!... Vo thodi straight forward haina... Aur...modern bhi...aur main kabhi sapne mein bhi unke khilaaf nhi jaa sakta!....

Aur chinta mat karo!... Agar tum chaaho toh Humara divorce bhi ho jaayega!...bas 6 mahine saath rehna hoga humein.....

Bondita-: Nahi Anirudh Babu!... Shaadi koi gudde gudiyon ka khel nahi!.. Jo jab mann kita Gathbandhan karliya aur jab mann kiya tod diya!... Shaadi toh janm- janmaantar ka bandhan hai!... Aur aap naa chaahte hue bhi... Mere saath iss pavitra bandhan mein bandh chuke hain!... Ab toh humein saath rehna hi hoga!... Aur vaise bhi jis tarah aap apni maa Ki baat nhi taal sakte!... Vaise main bhi apni Ma ko diya vachan nhi tod sakti!... Maine vidaai ke wakt unhe vachan diya tha... Ki chaahe jo ho jaaye main yeh rishta kabhi tootne nhi dungi!... Aur grah pravesh ke samay aapki Maa ne bhi yahi vachan maanga tha ki iss shaadi ko main kabhi tootne na du!... Ab main samjhi kyun kaha unhone aisa!... Toh ab toh humein jeevan bhar saath rehna hi hoga!...

Anirudh-: Par main Saudamini ko nahi bhula sakta!... Use bhi pata hai ki aaj vivah hai mera!.. Aur usne bola tha ki chaahe jo ho jaaye vo mera intezaar karegi!... Kabhi bhi vivaah nhi karegi vo kisi aur se!... She is ready to stay unmarried just for our love!... I cant leave her like this!...

Bondita-: Maine kab kaha ki aap unhe bhool jaaein!... Main khush hu aap dono ke liye!...Aur sabse badi baat toh yeh hai ki Aap unse pyaar karte hain... Aur vo aapse!... Aap dono ke beech aane waali... Main kaun hoti hu.... Aap Pls Saudamini ji se keh dijiyega ki mujhe koi pareshaani nahi hai unse... Aur meri taraf se unse maafi bhi maang lijiyega.... Ki main unki Prem Kahaani ke beech aagayi!...Aur rahi baat humaari... Toh aapse mujhe kuch nhi chahiye!... Aap mere kaaran Guilty feel mat kijiyega!.... Aap bas Saudamini ji se pyaar kijiye.... Aur agar mere bas mein hua toh main aapke jeevan se chali jaaungi... Par jaane se pehle... Aapko aapke prem se milwa kar hi jaaungi!...

Par ab humein saath hi rehna hai jeevan bhar toh aise ajnabiyon ki tarah toh nhi reh sakte na!... Aap mere pati nahi ban sakte.... Lekin kya aap mujhse dosti karenge?!...

She said forwarding her hand...

Anirudh was shocked by her action!... He was really surprised to hear what his bride said!... Did she just say that she wants to befriend him?!... With the person who betrayed her?!... Who has spoilt her whole life!... The person whom she should be angry on!... She wants to befriend him?.... Is she even real?!... How can she be so pure?!...

Anirudh asked in confusion -: Tum mujhpe naraaz nhi ho?!.... Tu.. Tum gussa nhi ho ki maine jeevan barbaad kar diya tumhaara?!...

Bondita looked at him smiling sadly...

Bondita-: Kis baat ke liye naraaz hou main aapse?!... Isliye ki aap kisi aur se pyaar karte hain?!... Ya isliye ki aap mujhse pyaar nahi karte?!... Par pyaar pe kisi ka zor thodi na hota hai!... Pyaar toh bas ho jata hai!... Aur mera jeevan aapne barbaad nahi kiya!...yeh toh meri kismat hai!...Shayad yahi likha tha bhagwaan ne mere bhaagya mein!...toh aapse naraaz kyun hou?!.... Aur vaise bhi!... Naraaz vahan hua jata hai... Jahan koi haq ho!.. Mera toh aap par koi bhi haq nahi!... Dosti bhi nahi sweekaar ki hai abhi toh aapne!... Toh rishta hi nahi abhi toh koi!...

Anirudh was surprised by her words!... He really liked her positive nature!...

He shook hands with her... And accepted her friendship!...

Bondita-: Friends?!

Anirudh-: Friends!

Anirudh-: accha tum Thak gyi hogi.... Tum yahan bed pe so jaao... Main couch pe so jata hu...

Bondita-: Aray nhi nhi!... Main so jaati hu couch pe...

Anirudh-: aray lekin...

Bondita interrupted-: Lekin-vekin, kintu-parantu kuch nahi!... Aapne height dekhi hai apni?!... Uss chotu se couch pe kaise fit aayenge?!... Main toh choti si hu... Aaraam se so jaaungi uss pe!... Aap pls yahan bed pe aaraam se so jaaiye!...

Anirudh had no more stamina to argue... So he nodded and slept on the bed... Bondita too went and slept on the couch....

They both were really worried!.. They didnt know how to react?!.. But as they were really exhausted Sleep soon took over them!....
