《Sanders Sides One Shots: Volume 2 [COMPLETED]》Pocky Picnic (Logicality)

Patton's POV:
You know, I've noticed that I really love most things that start with the letter 'p'. Think about how many things start with 'p' that are fantastic: pizza, pineapple, popcorn, parties, purple, palace, PUPPIES!! The list goes on and on! Partner, paint, periwinkle, pickles, peacocks, and I know where your mind is probably going and I'm not going to say what you're thinking, but I will just say... I mean, I'm gay so... you're probably right, but get your mind out of the gutter!
I'm bringing this up because I'm going on a picnic with Logan! Picnics are a ton of fun when the weather's right, and boy is the weather right today! It's perfectly sunny, but not blazing hot. There's just enough clouds and trees around to provide enough shade.
It's been about a year since Logan and I started dating so he decided to take me out on a date outside the Mind Palace. It was his idea for a picnic and I'm so happy we're going on one.
I smile as I skip toward the a big tree to lay out out picnic blanket. Logan's carrying the basket with our food in it which he places down in the center as he sits on the blanket. I sit down next to him, flashing him a big smile as he looks at me. He returns it as he opens the basket.
We share our little meal in peace, (another 'p' word!) and have a lovely little conversation. I do most of the talking, but I don't mind because Logan likes to listen.
About half an hour into our picnic, he pulls out a box of pocky. My eyes go wide as he slips a little stick of it out of the box and puts it in his mouth. I never even thought of pocky when I was brainstorming my list of great 'p' words. Pocky is really, really good.

He's still got the stick of pocky in his mouth when I speak up. "Could I have one?" I ask, resisting the urge to bite the other end of the stick in Logan's mouth.
He nods and goes to get another one out but the urge gets too strong. I lean forward and bite the pocky stick. He freezes, eyes going wide as he looks at me. I grin as pinkness rises into his cheeks. I lean forward, biting the stick down until our lips are close enough to connect. Logan rolls his eyes as I kiss him but I can tell he likes it just as much as I do. I pull away once the pocky's gone and grin at him.
"You could've just been patient," he says and I can't help the little laugh that escapes me.

Sweet Minds
"No one can see it, some can feel it, and only the few can use it. We belong to the few." Marith Merryfield felt anything but merry that morning. She found herself waiting for a delayed train on a deserted platform, in the freezing cold of the Dutch autumn. Just when the strangeness is making her consider turning around and going back home an empty train rolls into the station. For reasons unclear to this day she decides to get onboard. An unlikely, and quite impossible, train accident is about to hurtle her into a world she had always suspected existed. It was a dark and absurd place she had rejected and suppressed when she was young. Now she would need that dormant part of herself to survive. After a brief hospitalization she must choose between two continents and finds herself reluctantly boarding a plane to Oregon to be reunited with her shadows. She returns to the town she grew up in, which is where her father still lives and her childhood memories linger. By the end of the week the mysterious train accident turns out to be the least of her problems. Her life was never supposed to become this serious this fast. Through an improbable and unfortunate series of events she is soon introduced to a motley crew of characters that appear to be carrying the same struggles through life. They possess a familiar sense of inadequacy and insecurity. Marith realizes that for the first time in her life she has found herself a tribe, or, as they prefer to call it, a Chain. She is introduced to a world of Prophets, Runners and Mages led by an Oracle and a Watchmaker. Over the course of several weeks Marith learns that, together with her Chain, she is expected to save this fabric of reality, by fighting a mysterious and immortal creature and his aggressive pet. In order to have a chance at overcoming this force of nature she has to revisit the darkest and most desolate corners of her mind. ***** The total word count of the first 12 chapters amounts to about 85.000 words.
