《Sanders Sides One Shots: Volume 2 [COMPLETED]》Silly Celebrity Crush (Prinxiety) (Part 3)

To say Roman screamed was probably an understatement. Patton had thought there had been a home invasion situation and that he was being murdered, but he quickly understood the screaming when his friend shoved his phone in his face. Logan, on the other hand, did not understand the screaming even once he understood what had happened. To him, it seemed illogical to scream over something so unimportant.
"Roman would you please stop yelling and pacing? You're giving me a headache," he said from the dining room table, glaring over at his princely roommate.
He'd been walking back and forth across their dorm for about fifteen minutes, ranting and theorizing about the significance behind Virgil Black following him back on Instagram. Patton was sitting on the couch, giddily encouraging his behavior much to Logan's dismay.
"Sorry Logan, but I cannot BELIEVE what is happening right now," he replied, frantically running his fingers through his hair as he laughed a little to himself. He stared at the screenshot he'd taken of the notification. "Seriously, am I dreaming? Please pinch me if I am because I'd rather find out now that I'm dreaming than when he starts liking and commenting or something-"
He was cut off by a dull pain in his upper arm. He gasped and rubbed it, looking toward his roommate, who had gotten up from the table and punched him in the shoulder. "What the hell? I said pinch me not punch me," he scolded Logan.
"Punching is more effective than pinching," the intellectual young man replied. He adjusted his glasses just to give the statement an even more nerdy sound to it. "Besides, you deserved it."
"Well sorry for being EXCITED about something for once," Roman sneered back, pouting and still rubbing his arm where he'd been punched. "You wouldn't know what it's like to be excited about anything, Logan."

Patton perked up at the statement, amusement glistening in his honey-colored irises. "Actually, you should see how he gets about Doctor Who and Stranger Things," he chimed in with a giggle. "It's actually hilarious, his eyes are all wide and he talks super fast-"
"Okay, that has nothing to do with the matter at hand," Logan interrupted, cheeks looking a little pinker than usual. "I'd like to understand the significance of this young man following you."
He was looking pointedly toward Roman, who had begun pacing again. He stopped and looked between his roommates. "Okay, okay, so I sent him a message," he began. "After I watched the episode where he got the Golden Buzzer, I sent him a direct message on Instagram to tell him I thought he did wonderful and that his song choice was great and everything. I didn't get a reply but now it's been read, and then the following happened."
"Right, But why is this a big deal? It's not like he's Robert Downey Jr. or Taylor Swift. He's only just now earning his popularity," Logan said.
The princely young man nodded. "Well, yeah, that's true, but usually, even people like him wouldn't reply to a message from an unknown person let alone FOLLOW THEM BACK." He emphasized the fact that Virgil had actually followed a random person on Instagram (him) simply because of a nice message. "Plus, I've been checking his recent activity, and he's not been on a following spree or something. I'm the only person he's recently followed. So you tell me Logan, why is this a big deal?!"
"Well, I suppose that if you feel special because of this singer following you back, I can't really fault you, but please, for the sake of my sanity, stop yelling and pacing," he pleaded, walking back to the table where his laptop awaited his return.

Roman sighed but reluctantly agreed to stop yelling, simply staring at the photo giddily. That's when a message came through his notifications.
virgil.black: hey thanks for the message roman, it was really sweet of you to go out of your way to message me like that, I really appreciate it :)
"OH MY GOD!"
Logan sighed heavily and slumped back down in his chair, defeated.
