《Sanders Sides One Shots: Volume 2 [COMPLETED]》Conspiracy Chaos (Logicality)

When Virgil announced he was making a YouTube channel, his best friends, Logan, Patton, and Roman all congratulated him and wished him good luck with becoming a big star. The first name in that list didn't expect it to cause any changes in their daily life but he was soon proven wrong.
You see, it was a well-known fact about the emo nightmare of the group that he loved conspiracy theories. They all found it a little odd, given his anxious nature, but he adored Shane Dawson and used his free time to dive deeper into the depths of conspiracies and cryptids. He often tried to show them to his friends, but they freaked Roman out, didn't fully land with Patton, and Logan was so strictly a factual person that he didn't even bother trying to show him.
Nonetheless, Virgil began his own channel dedicated to conspiracy theories and spooky mysteries. It surprised him that it grew fairly quickly, but he wasn't complaining. Logan noticed that he was working more often and grew curious.
"Might I ask what you're writing down there?" he questioned one afternoon upon finding the emo young man scribbling down notes in a spiral.
He looked up, blinking in realization before a small smile tugged at the corner of his lips. He handed the notebook to him to look at. "It's just some planning and a little bit of scripting for my next video. I've started uploading three times a week, and just winging it isn't going to cut it if I want to maintain the fan base I've been gathering," Virgil explained.
"Ah, I see," he replied, a bit of skepticism in his voice.
"Hey Lo, don't be so quick to judge the conspiracy theories," the emo said, arching an eyebrow at him. "Go watch a few of my videos, and you'll understand what all the fuss is about. They're pretty intriguing."

He shrugged, straightening his glasses. "I suppose it couldn't hurt to check them out," Logan said. "I shall do so when I have a moment."
Upon returning to his room, his curiosity got the better of him, and he opened his laptop. He typed in the familiar URL of YouTube.com and typed in his friend's name. His most popular theory popped up at the top of the search. It was a conspiracy theory about the earth being flat, making Logan roll his eyes.
As if there could be any actually compelling evidence that the earth is flat, he thought as he clicked on it, humoring his curiosity.

Patton smiled to himself as he headed for his room after a nice walk. Everything in their apartment seemed calm. No one was yelling at anyone, nothing chaotic seemed to be happening, but as he passed Logan's bedroom door, he was forced to reconsider his analysis.
He paused, hearing sharp inhales of breath and hiccups from the other side of the door. Concern shot through him and he quickly knocked on the door. "Hey Lo? Are you alright?"
"Y-Yes, I'm just fine, P-Patton," a stuttering voice replied.
It didn't convince him in the slightest, so he quickly opened the door and entered the room. He found his intellectual boyfriend curled up in the chair at his desk, his laptop open and playing a video. It took him only a couple seconds to recognize Virgil's voice. He was crying and shuttering, not looking at his older friend as he rushed across the room to him.
"Logan! What's wrong?!"
"It... It can't be true! It just can't be!!" he cried, pointing toward the video. "But it makes perfect sense!! Why does it make so much sense?!"
Patton let out a sigh of relief, having thought something was seriously wrong. He knelt down in front of the other man and took his hands in his own. "Logan, it's alright, that stuff is all exaggerated and fake," he said, smiling comfortingly. "Virgil even includes disclaimers that it's not proven or intended to be taken seriously."

"B-But it makes sense," Logan whimpered, looking at him with wide, tearful eyes.
"That doesn't mean it's real," he replied, rubbing circles into the back of his hands. "Trust me baby, you're alright. The world isn't falling apart as you knew it, it's still the same old, amazing, somewhat unpleasant world it was before you watched Virgil's video. It's okay!"
The intellectual young man nodded, slowly inhaling and exhaling until he was calm again. "Okay, okay you're right," he said. "I apologize for my... irrational emotional response."
Patton smiled and leaned up, pressing a quick kiss to his boyfriend's cheek. "It's okay, Logan."

Bitter
The story of a girl who finds her life is not what she wanted. So she gets another one. Schedule: Story has been completed. Book One is available free on Amazon and EPUB. Books Two to Five are out now. Final Book out soon. Chapters will be around 500-1000 words. This will not change so if you don't like reading very short chapters wait till the end of the week or even end of the month. This many chapters a week isn't easy to pull off so please bear that in mind. This is a VRMMORPG story, but the ones I've read tend to use VR as an excuse to get into a fantasy world and then don't really play up the game aspect other than pulling up a status screen every now and then. To me, MMOs are about more than the fantasy setting. Bugs, exploits, devs who don't understand their own game, OP classes, over the top nerfs, p2w, ridiculous RNG, cash shop fiasco, lockboxes, raging players, broken mechanics, limited bag space, tedious crafting and above all that, a company trying to squeeze money out if its playerbase while pretending they're just in the business of having fun. Of course, then there's the orcs and elves. This story is about finding yourself in a completely immersive fantasy game, but it's also about what a game like that would really be like.

A New Beginning
Humans don't understand how someone can be both dead and alive, and that fact scares them, it opens up the possibility of a threat even if there is no evidence of malevolent intent. So, the only solution in the minds of humanity is to dominate and subjugate the unknown variable until it no longer has even the potential to be a threat. They choose to pretend that the unknown variable is lesser, that humanity is superior on no other grounds than that it's humanity. Buried underneath that, however, is a young child who is scared and confused, a child that hasn't seen the light of day in years. That child never expected to see the bright side to existence, to see the light shine in the souls of the righteous. That all changed with one group of heroes, and one family of Bats.Cover doesn't belong to me.Cross-published on two other sites*Undergoing heavy editing, nothing plot-wise is changing, I am only editing grammar, mechanics, vocabulary, sentence variation, and formatting and overall I am just making it a more pleasant and refined read :) I am also deleting the A/Ns at the beginning and end of each chapter
