《Sanders Sides One Shots: Volume 2 [COMPLETED]》Cozy Cuddles (Prinxiety)

It all started when Patton went to talk to Virgil and didn't find him in his room. He spent five minutes searching every other room in the Mind Palace for the anxious Side, but couldn't find him. At that point, he worked himself into a panic, demanding that the logical and creative Sides help him find the emo nightmare.
Roman wasn't concerned, considering the fact that Virgil could disappear and reappear whenever he wanted to places they were unaware existed. It wasn't the first time he'd gone missing. He had a habit of doing this, whether it was taking off to the Imagination for a day or two without telling anyone, so the prince wasn't sure why Patton was so freaked out about not being able to find him.
The creative Side decided to check his room again, because who knew? Maybe he'd gone out and came back without telling anyone and that's why he hadn't been in his room when the moral Side checked.
Despite the unnerving feeling he seemed to get whenever he entered the place, he steeled himself and entered the room inhabited by none other than Virgil Sanders. It was just as dim and gloomy as it had been the last time he'd been there. There was no trace or clue that the anxious Side had been there recently, but Roman decided to snoop around, thinking maybe he could find something that would at least point him in the right direction.
He looked at his dressers, having a staring contest with his pet spider for a moment before moving on to the book shelf. Rather than books, there were lots of spirals and sketchbooks, making him grin.
That's when he heard the sound of music, coming from somewhere he couldn't place. It was faint and muffled, making him frown. His eyebrows were furrowed as he looked around for the source. As the prince moved around the room, it suddenly grew slightly louder as he passed the closet.

Roman raised his hand to the door handle of the closet, pulling it open. His eyes widened as he realized how big it was; I mean, the Sides could have whatever they wanted when they were in the Mind Palace, but he didn't take Virgil for the type to want a walk-in closet.
The creative Side stepped inside, trying to find the source of the music. There were several hoodies and other outfits hung up on the racks around him and drawer units with shoes and other miscellaneous items. It was in the far back corner that he found the source. On the floor, rather than another drawer unit of some kind, there was several fluffy blankets laid out with countless pillows and stuffed animals. There were fairy lights taped to the walls of the little corner of the closet, like this was a little hideaway. Blinking past his shock, he realized that Virgil was sitting among them, with his knees drawn up to his chest. He had a peaceful smile on his face and he had a pair of headphones on; the source of the music.
The prince grinned, kneeling down to tap him gently on the knee. Virgil jumped, eyes snapping open wide as he looked up. His mouth formed an 'oh' as he reached up to pull his headphones down to his neck with a flustered expression.
"How long was I missing?" he asked bashfully. "I assume that Patton's got everyone searching for me, hence why you found me."
Roman smiled, sitting down beside him in the cluster of blankets, pillows, and stuffed animals. "We only noticed you were 'missing' like twenty minutes ago, but I don't really know how long you've actually been in here," he explained. "Patton was gonna ask you if you wanted something to eat, and freaked out when he couldn't find you in the Mind Palace."

The anxious Side nodded, chewing on his bottom lip with pink tinted cheeks. "So, what's all this?" he asked, nodding down at the headphones but really meaning the set up tucked away in the corner of his closet.
"Well..." he began, blushing even brighter red as rubbed the back of his neck. "It's just a little something I made... I wanted someplace to relax in private and feel cozy and peaceful."
"It's adorable," Roman said, laughing softly as he leaned against the pillows and scooted closer to the emo. "And also, a really good idea. This is really cozy indeed. I love it! Would you mind some company?"
Virgil looked shocked, but shrugged, fighting back a smile as he leaned back. He unplugged his headphones so the music would play softly out loud for them both to hear better and sighed happily. The prince grinned at him and slipped an arm around his waist to pull him even closer. The anxious Side looked up with wide, questioning eyes, so he took his other hand in his, intertwining their fingers together. He smiled and relaxed against the creative Side's shoulder, feeling content.
Before either of them knew it, they fell asleep, snuggling close together with smiles still on their face.
