《Sanders Sides One Shots: Volume 1 [COMPLETED]》Mistletoe Mistake (Prinxiety & Logicality)

Thomas' POV:

Okay, okay, I'm getting sick of Princey and Anxiety acting like they hate each other. In all honesty, they're not fooling anyone! Even the Fanders have it pretty much figured out. I swear, it's just stressful for when I try and make videos. They're so busy trying not to come across as in love that they forget their lines, add insults, and cause conflict between shots. I just want them to get together so I can stop getting headaches whenever they're in the same room.

I smirked to myself as I came up with a devious plan. With Christmas coming up, my apartment was looking festive to the max! Well, almost to the max. I could barely contain my excitement as i put up the mistletoe above the stairs.

My plan was to get the two of them under the mistletoe so that they'd have to kiss. I was almost certain that they would because they'd likely start arguing before just doing it. I'll be honest, it's a little weird, seeing as the Sides all look like me and act like me to a certain extent. However, they're all different enough that it's still pretty cute.

I smiled as I looked at the mistletoe, in perfect position for where Virgil pops up. I knew he'd be the first to notice, and then he'd avoid it if he could. If could get Roman over there before he pops up, they'll be under it before he could react. Humming to myself, I went to the kitchen to get a snack when I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. I didn't realize I had any friends over... or maybe it's one of the Sides already in the real world? I looked over toward the stairs from my place in the kitchen as I bit down into a piece of peanut butter fudge. Around the holidays, a couple of my more skilled baker friends made the BEST desserts. I noticed Logan walking down the stairs slowly, nose buried deep in a book. It was then that I noticed Patton was out here as well, about to head upstairs, not paying attention as he bumped right into the logical Side of me. I concealed a gasp of realization, waiting for them to notice.

Patton's POV:

I groaned as dull pain shot through body as I landed on the stairs. I heard a familiar sharp gasp, making me look up in concern. Logan was on the stairs too, book accidentally tossed to the side and glasses a disarray from our collision. He was rubbing his back with a slightly pained expression, making me rush forward.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry Logan!" I said hurriedly as I picked up his book and helped him to his feet. I ignored the pain in my own back, more concerned about him. He blinked at me in surprise as I reached up to fix his glasses for him. "I wasn't paying attention! I'm sorry! Are you alright?" Logan looked shocked by my action of fixing his glasses, making heat rise to my cheeks with embarrassment. "I'm fine, Patton," he reassured, concern in his eyes. "I also should've been paying attention. Are you injured?"

I shook my head as I handed him his book. "No, no, I'm fine," I reassured him. He nodded in acknowledgement as a slightly awkward silence fell over us.

Logan's POV:

My eyes wandered as I searched for words, heart rate increasing as they fixated on something above Patton and I's heads. My cheeks felt uncomfortably warm as I recognized it and its purpose of a festive decoration. Patton's eyebrows furrowed in confusion until his eyes followed mine. His face flushed bright red as the realization hit him.

"We- um..." he managed, laughing awkwardly. "It's- it's mistletoe..."

"I-I wasn't aware Thomas had put any up in the house," I replied, straightening my glasses though they were already straight. I could practically feel my heart in my throat, which was biologically impossible, but an accurate expression for the feeling nonetheless.

Patton fidgeted with the sleeves of his cardigan, blushing furiously. "Um, isn't there a sort of t-tradition with mistletoe?" he asked uncertainly. I nodded, feeling the heat in my cheeks grow more intense. "Wasn't it- like, um..."

He clearly knew what the tradition of kissing under the mistletoe was, but wasn't sure what to say in this moment. I rubbed the back of my neck as I contemplated the best choice I could make to make this situation less awkward. I noticed him bite his lip, looking so nervous that it made me smile a tiny bit. I made up my mind, leaned down and pressing a quick kiss to his lips, and pulling away before he could respond.

Thomas' POV:

I bit back another astonished gasp as Logan kissed Patton. Sure, it wasn't long or anything, but it was a kiss. One that definitely had an effect on both of them. Logan looked incredibly nervous as he waited for the dad-like character's reaction. Said character was frozen in shock, staring at his logical Side counter part. It was kinda hilarious despite watching me basically just kiss myself, but hey! Can't get anymore self loving then when the actual parts of your personalities fall in love! I'd say that's a good thing for my overall mental health; maybe these two would work together better.

I snapped out of my thoughts as Patton giggled a tiny bit and pulled Logan by the necktie into another kiss that lasted much longer. I felt myself blush in embarrassment upon seeing them kiss, stifling a small laugh as I smiled into my peanut butter fudge.

When they broke apart, I saw Patton pull Logan by the necktie upstairs. My eyes widened as I imagined what they might be going to do. My mind immediately went to dark places, but I remembered with was Patton and Logan. They'd only just kissed. Logan, being Logic, was awkward and uncertain when it came to romance, so he wouldn't want to do anything. Patton, being my heart, was affectionate, but wasn't really lustful. If I was honest, lust typically came from Princey. I've smiled as I shook out my head, settling on that they were probably just going to cuddle or cute like that.

I put away the fudge before I could eat too much of it, knowing Logan wouldn't be happy with me if I did. I realized that my plan to get Roman and Virgil together kinda backfired. Logan and Patton had gotten together instead. I shrugged; maybe it would still work. It was as I closed the door that the two Sides came back down stairs, giving me another idea.

"Hey! Logicality!" I called, getting their attention and successfully making them both blush. "Come here!"

They obeyed, entering the kitchen with me. It was as they stood in front of me that I realized that they were holding hands. Okay, that was adorable. "You guys wanna help me get Princey and Anxiety together? I put that mistletoe there to try and catch them off guard, but you two ended up together instead."

Patton gasped excitedly. "Oooooh! Yes!! I already have plan!!" he said, turning to Logan. "I'm going to convince Virgil to come out here, you go get Roman and find an excuse to make him wait on the stairs!"

With that, they both sunk down before I could react.

Roman's POV:

There was a knock at my door, making me walk over to answer it. I was met with Logan. "Salutations, Roman," he greeted. "Would you kindly accompany me to Thomas' apartment? I'd like to run over his YouTube schedule with him, and you should probably be there."

"Of course," I replied, sinking down with him into Thomas' living room. It was then that Logan realized something, snapping his fingers with a frustrated sigh.

"My apologies, I forgot to grab my copy of his schedule," he explained. "Here, just wait on the stairs for a bit, I'll be back shortly."

Without another word, he sunk down, leaving me to stare at where'd previously been, slightly confused. I shrugged, sitting on the stairs and pulling out my phone. I was about to start playing a level of Rolling Sky when someone popped up right in front of me. I gasped in shock and surprised as I met his eyes.

Virgil's POV:

I popped up to find myself literally face to face with Roman. I was promise cookies in the kitchen by Patton, and had promptly decided to get some. However, now I needed to deal with this obnoxious prince who was centimeters away from my face. "Princey?! What the heck are you doing here?"

He looked almost offended as he reeled back. "Hey! I didn't know you were going to be randomly popping up out of nowhere and is that mistletoe?" he was quickly sidetracked from his original statement as his eyes wandered upward. I followed his gaze, feeling my cheeks burn as I realized he was right. We were both silent, looking each other up and down with narrowed eyes. "Well, are you a good kisser?"

Roman's question was snarky and clearly a challenge. I glared at him. "Excuse you, I am an amazing kisser," I replied, covering up how flustered I was with annoyance.

"Oh? Prove it Hot Topic!" he snapped back. So I did, grabbing his shirt and pulling him into a passionate kiss. His hands quickly found my hair as mine pulled him closer.

Thomas' POV:

Patton was hiding behind Logan as we watched the two of them bicker before attacking each other's lips. I looked away with embarrassment, expecting them to be less sweet than Patton and Logan, but still. I smiled as they pulled away, blushing as they slowly smiled.

I was surprised that worked, but I was very glad the two pairs were together. It was about time.
