Roman's POV:
My heart was racing with excitement as we prepped to film a video. I always loved filming time! It was a time for me to allow the viewers to bask in my gorgeous glory! Oh, and help Thomas, yeah, that too.
Unfortunately, we had a worrying problem as Thomas called Anxiety.
"Virgil!" he said, looking at the stairs, expecting the emo nightmare to pop up. He didn't, earning confused looks from the four of us. "Virgil?"
"Are you sure you're summoning him?" I asked worriedly. Why wouldn't he be appearing? Had I done something to cause him to duck out again? I thought I'd been getting better about that!
Thomas nodded, looking confused. "Yeah, I'm definitely summoning him, but he's just, not coming," he said.
The three of us tried summoning him, but nothing. He just wasn't showing up! I'm starting habitually get worried. I feel like it's my responsibility as the prince to keep the other Sides safe, and I was starting to worry that something was wrong with him.
"What should we do?" Thomas said. "I mean, he's probably fine, and I can still feel his presence."
Logan straightened his glasses. "I believe you have enough footage for the moment, perhaps we could take a break and try summoning him later?" he suggested. "We have been filming for almost two and a half hours already."
"Yeah and I'm STARVING!" Patton said with a giggle. Thomas rolled his eyes, but seeing the clock read 6:30 he nodded.
"Ok, I'll order a pizza at 7:00, and start editing what I have so far," he said. "Sound good?"
The other two nodded, but I couldn't help but feel like they weren't concerned enough with Virgil's strange unresponsiveness. It wasn't like him not to show, other than that one time, and if Thomas could still feel him, that meant he was just not coming up, and I needed to know he was okay.

"I'm going to check on Virgil while you do that," I said, sinking down and missing the three of them exchange smirks.
I headed down the hallway to his door, squashing the worries down as I neared it. He was probably fine.
But as I got closer, I heard it. Crying coming from inside his room. My eyes widened and my heart clenched. Why was he crying?! I opened the door quickly to find him asleep. I figured out that he was having a nightmare really quickly based on the whimpers and crying. I hurried to his side, trying to wake him. "Virgil!" I said loudly as I took his shoulders and shook them. "Virgil! Wake up! It's a nightmare!"
He didn't wake; in fact, his conditioned worsened. "Don't hurt me!" he cried in his sleep, flailing his arms out to defend himself.
I wince a little as he hit my shoulder with surprising force. He kept flailing and hitting me, so I grabbed his arms and pinned them to the bed. "Virgil! VIRGIL WAKE UP!!" I yelled, trying desperately to get him to wake up. Nothing worked! What am I supposed to do?!
A thought flashed through my eyes as they widened. I couldn't do that, he'd kill me! But it might wake him... this nightmare seems really bad... I just want to help him!
Summoning my courage, I leaned down and pressed my lips forcefully to his. He froze, but didn't wake as I kissed him. Then he started kissing me back, making me gasp and my eyes flew open. His eyes were still closed, leading me to to think he was still asleep. I pulled away slowly, making him gasp as he panted for oxygen. His eyes slowly fluttered open, seeing me above him with wide eyes and pink cheeks.

"Holy shit... it's actually you..." he murmured. I found myself sputtering as I quickly got off him.
"A-Apologies I- uh... I um..." I didn't know what to say. Virgil looked at me curiously, but didn't look angry.
He reached out to take my hand, pulling me back onto the bed to sit with him. "Roman, you... you kissed me, right?" he asked, blushing. I nodded, face also red. "That's so weird... when you kissed me, my nightmare changed... it changed to just a peaceful dream. We were in the Imagination, and you were kissing me. Then I woke up and you had been actually kissing me apparently..."
I hid my face. "Y-Yeah, I actually kissed you..." I murmured. "I couldn't think of how to wake you up, and you were having a horrible nightmare, so I did the only thing I could think of... I guess when I kissed you, my creativity and light overpowered your nightmare... I get it if you're mad and don't want to talk to me now-"
"Roman, I'm not mad at you," he said with a bashful smile. "There's a reason I started kissing back..."
I gasped, looking at him in shock. "You mean?" I asked, with a hopeful smile.
Virgil nodded, smiling wider. "Yes, Roman, I have feelings for you. That was the kiss of my dreams," he said. "I've loved you for a while..."
I slipped into the bed and pulled him close to my chest happily. He snuggled into it, clinging to me like a koala. "I love you too, Virgil," I told him.
He hummed, drifting off into a peaceful sleep in my arms. I glanced at the clock, seeing it read 6:37. I smiled, knowing Virgil would be happy to know that he could get about twenty minutes of peaceful sleep, and then get fresh hot pizza when he woke up. I pressed a kiss to his cheek, running my fingers through his hair. He purred at the contact in his sleep, making me smile even wider.
"You really are like a little kitten."

Ancient prophecies say that once every thousand years, one shall rise to bring about a new age of darkness. A harbinger of evil, a being born for the sole purpose of sowing misery and disgrace. Through them, the world shall know of war, famine, pestilence and death— the four seals that herald the end of times. Besieged by the maws of evil, humankind shall suffer in agony as they watch everything they once knew be unmade before them. To oppose such a being, the whole world has had to stand united, in the battles that came to be historically known as the Great Holy Wars. Guided by the Saintess of Irithel, brave heroes coming from the four corners of the world had to sacrifice their lives in order to fight against the Harbinger and cast away the darkness. In the kingdom of Valtia, a small nation belonging to the Union of Western Kingdoms, an urgent missive bearing the royal seal arrives at the hands of Earl William Taylor.
