《Sanders Sides One Shots: Volume 1 [COMPLETED]》Analogically Crushing (Analogical)

Logan was being crushed. He was being crushed, by the inevitable fact that he had a crush. The shy nerd had undoubtably fallen for his classmate. He hadn't even truly talked to him, but his heart metaphorically did flips whenever he entered the room. He subconsciously found himself following his movements with his eyes, or lingering in the same area in hopes that he would strike up a conversation. His cheeks felt frustratingly warm whenever his gaze landed on him. Yes, he was certain, he had a crush.

His crush wore mostly black with touches of purple, and a fair amount of eye shadow UNDERNEATH his eyes rather than actually on his eyelids. His purple bangs fell in front of his eyes in a way that made Logan "swoon" as he heard some people describe it. What he was painfully unaware of, however, was this crush, was also being crushed.

His crush's name was Virgil, and he too, had a crush. His crush, however, did not wear makeup, or heavy black clothing. He wore a simple black polo and a blue, striped, tie. His hair swept perfectly to the side rather than falling over his eyes. His heart skipped a little whenever he straightened his glasses in such a way only HE could make attractive. His whole presence near him made his body warm and prickly, in a good way he supposed. He was uncomfortable, but in a way that meant, "don't think bad of me, I really want you to like me".

One more fact about Logan's crush that he was unaware of, was his saddening habit of cutting himself. It came from his very, very intense anxiety, and his depression. His depression hadn't gotten too bad, but he self harmed, which was bad enough.

One afternoon, Logan had left his books in his sixth period, which happened to be his art class. He was walking to it a few minutes before the final bell in order to pick them up. He wasn't in love with art, but there was a certain person who was incredible at it who's he loved to admire as it came together; however he wasn't in his period. Unbeknownst to Logan, Virgil had it seventh, and he recognized his books as the final bell rang. He panicked, knowing how much Logan loved to read from seeing him get lost in them in their shared classes. He grabbed them and ran out the door, hoping to catch Logan before he left on the bus-

BAM!

Virgil ran straight into Logan, who had been walking the opposite direction at the time. They were both on the ground now, the books scattered on the ground. They each looked up as the rubbing the back of their heads, locking eyes with shocked expressions.

"O-Oh my god, I'm so s-sorry," Virgil stuttered nervously as he started picking up the books, unaware his sleeve had been pushed up. His cheeks were on fire as he avoided looking at Logan, who had begun to help him with the books.

"No, no, I apologize, I should've been looking where I was going, this is my fault," Logan rambled, smiling to hide his nervousness. "I was just on my way to get my books-"

He stopped as he looked down at the book he was holding, eyes widening as he recognized it. "Wait, are these mine?" he thought out loud as he looked at the covers.

"Y-Yeah, I have art s-seventh and I saw them. I wanted to give back before you left for the bus," Virgil explained, embarrassed. "I-I didn't know you were going to come back to get them..."

"Thank you," he said in shock. Logan's chest fluttered. He'd been going to return his books? He recognized that they were his? Was there a chance his crush liked him back? "How did you know these were mine?"

Virgil's cheeks went bright red. "I-I've seen you around a lot," he explained. "You're extremely distracting."

"How so?" Logan asked, confused as he tilted his head. The other boy's eyes widened.

"Shit, did I say that out loud?" Virgil asked quickly. Logan nodded. He blushed even darker. "Uh... you're- uh... you're very handsome..."

Logan's cheeks felt extremely warm as his heart soared. He thinks I'm handsome! Oh my god! his thoughts screamed.

"Oh, haha! Not really, I'm just a nerd," he replied bashfully as he straightened his glasses.

"Well I think you're very handsome," Virgil said with a small smile as his insides did flips. He was actually talking to his crush and not messing it up!

"I appreciate it," he said with a smile as Virgil handed him the books he'd picked up. Logan took it, but didn't take it because he froze. His gaze was fixed on his wrist. Virgil looked down to follow his gaze, blood running cold as he realized what he was looking at. He was trying to inspect it.

"U-Uh..." Virgil stammered, trying to pull his arm away. Logan met his eyes, causing both of them to freeze as he resisted.

"Please..." Logan murmured, trying to look at his arm. Virgil bit his lip, let him look at the cuts. There were old scars so pale you wouldn't even notice; than there were new ones that had only recently stopped bleeding. The sight made his heart ache, and almost brought tears to his eyes. "Oh Virgil..."

He had been looking away, glossy eyed, but looked back when he said his name. "H-How do you k-know my n-name?"

Logan raised Virgil's wrist to his lips, pressing a gentle kiss to some of the scars as he whispered a reply. "Because I haven't been able to get you out of my mind for months..."

Virgil's skin felt like fire where his lips had touched him. "R-Really?" he asked, understanding that he'd just confessed feelings for him. Logan nodded, pressing another kiss to some of the other scars before looking at him. "I-I kinda like you too..."

Virgil's voice was a whisper, and sent chills up Logan's spine. Logan leaned forward, sliding his hand under Virgil's cheek. They were searching each other's gaze for something. Logan finally spoke. "Can I... can I kiss you?" he murmured.

Virgil's breath caught in his throat as he nodded. Logan closed the distance between them, placing a kiss to his lips so gently it was like he was scared he'd hurt him. They broke apart, meeting each other's eyes. "Please don't hurt yourself anymore..." Logan murmured. Virgil looked away, causing him to take his chin and gently pulling it to look at him. "Please... you're not a monster, or worthless, or any of the horrible things your mind may have told you you are..."

"You don't even really know me, Logan..." he said sadly. He smiled sadly touching their noses together.

"I don't need to to know that you're amazing," Logan told him. "And I'm telling you as your boyfriend that you are so you need to listen to me."

Virgil did a double take. "My b-boyfriend?"

"If you want me to be," Logan said a little shyly with a smile. Virgil smiled brightly.

"Of course!"
