Roman had tried his best... He loved him more than anything... he knew what he was going through and had helped him as much as he could...
But he failed.
He woke up that morning feeling uneasy. Something felt off. Something felt as though it was not right. He was siting on the couch when Virgil came into the room. He came and sat down next to him. He kissed him for a long time, surprising Roman but he didn't mind. They were boyfriends after all.
"I love you," he said, looking him in the eye. "Just know that."
"I love you too," Roman replied, thinking nothing of it as he got up and went back to what he was doing.
The idea struck Roman to treat his boyfriend. He rushed out to the store, get him his favorite chocolate and a bouquet of black and purple roses. He came back, and knocked on his boyfriend's door. There was no reply, causing his heart to race. That thing that had been bothering him all morning was back as he called out to his boyfriend. He opened the door, dropping the roses upon what he saw.

He rushed forward, throat closing up as he collapsed to his knees. "No, no, no, no," he said over and over again has he pulled Virgil toward him.

"No!" Tears streamed down his face as he looked at his face. He looked down at his wrists flinching and turning away. He couldn't look at them.

"Virgil," he sobbed, cradling him to his chest. "Please don't do this to me."

"You said you loved me, why would you leave me?" the prince looked at his even paler face. "Virgil you may as well have killed me too! Don't leave me..."

"We were going to get married and love each other forever," he cried into his hair. "Please! I tried so hard, what did I do wrong? Please..."

Roman sobbed as he felt Virgil disappear in his arms. He hugged himself as he faded completely.

The story like Origin is about a group of college students who find a ship that is the last remnant of an ancient human space faring civilisation, they fix her up and go back into space. Along they way they'll meet alot of aliens, religious fundamentalists and conmen.
