logan looked at roman. "oh god, i wanna die." logan laughed.
roman shook his head, smirking slightly. he looked down at his phone while logan looked at him sadly. he wished someone would notice he wasn't joking.
they literally lost their best friend virgil because they never took them seriously. logan was never truly happy after virgil killed themselves. virgil and logan were so close, logan knew virgil was suicidal but virgil had begged him not to tell anyone else, they found it very embarrassing.
logan tried to support them as much as possible but it was hard because virgil began pushing everyone away. it felt like last night when it had happened.
logan looked at virgil hurt when they called logan a stupid bastard. he was only confident in his intelligence so it stung when it was questioned or insulted like that.
"fine. i'll just leave if that's how you truly think of me." logan turned around, wiping away stray tears. logan began to walk away.
"wait! logan i wasn't thinking, please." virgil grabbed his wrist but logan pulled away.
"no, v. there was some truth to that statement or you wouldn't have said it." logan got in his car and drove off before virgil could say anything else.
logan winced at the memory. the place where virgil killed themselves is now boarded up. "i.. i gotta go." logan said suddenly, getting off of roman's couch. "goodbye."
"later, nerd." roman said, not paying much attention to logan. logan closed the door and didn't bother getting in his car. he was walking to his destination.
he received a text on his way to the abandoned building he was going to.
logan locked his phone and continued walking. he began nearing the abandoned warehouse. there was an old rusty ladder on the side so logan began to climb it.

once he got to the top, he finally checked his messages after declining roman's call.
one missed call from roman
logan called roman. "put me on speaker. make sure patton is with you."
"okay, we're both here. not what the hell is up." that was roman.
"nothing. i just wanted to tell you both how much i love you. i really do underappreciate you both. you do not deserve it at all."
"aw logan we love you too!" that was patton.
"yeah. we do. seriously. what is going on? why are you acting like this?" that was roman again.
"someone i once knew," virgil. it wss virgil. "t-they said treat everyday like it's your last. so on your last everything will be said and done. i never did that. i want to make it up to them by doing this."
"that's amazing advice. who said it?" patton again.
logan choked back a sob. "v. v did." he said. "i love you guys. you mean the world to me. i'll miss you both." logan hung up the call after that and searched through his contacts for virgil.
logan looked down. so this is how virgil felt? everything just felt.. so surreal. almost as if this was a bad dream and he would wake up any moment. but he never did.

Junkyard does not discriminate. This place where rejects gather is impartial to your past. Almost completely cut off from the Overworld, its limited resources put the residents at odds, as they struggle for each scrap they can get their hands on. You can decide to live in peace, but poverty, or try for a chance to leave. If you choose to leave, then be prepared to steal, plunder, fight, cripple, and kill if necessary. Gather items and become stronger. Crush your opponents as you take theirs for your own, and roll the weighted dice. Marco has watched for years how humans treat their lives like gambling chips. He saw delusion, confused with hope, and warnings falling on deaf ears. A million believing they are the one. Because don't you just need a few rare items to be unstoppable? Some EXP to dominate? Just a little luck? Surely, if you keep trying, fate will work out in your favor, no? Marco knows better than that. He's learned that patience is a virtue. He hopes others will listen; that they would learn. In time, things could be better. He plans to see to that himself. But when he meets Jeanne, their values clash. They both desire the same, yet their means differ. One would risk it all on a hunch, the other waits until the perfect moment. Does either understand the consequences of their methods? How does patience fare when time is not your ally? Do not hesitate. Doubt will drag you down. Beware of friend and foe. Because Junkyard does not forgive mistakes.
