- It took a couple years, but eventually Carmen & Gray reconnected with one another after parting ways in S4.

- They begin talking and befriend one another again, and everything is going great for a while. As they reform their relationship, their feelings for one another return. They both realize that they never actually went away.

- Carmen invites Gray to visit her in Argentina with her mother and he happily agrees. When he arrives, Carlotta mistakes him as Carmen's boyfriend, to which they both laugh and correct her.

- Carlotta really likes Gray and warms up to him very fast. He's a very engaging person and she likes how charming he can be. She can tell he means a lot to Carmen and presses her to take him up on his offer to visit him in Sydney.

- With her mother's advice, Carmen goes to see him in Australia, and it's crazy how wonderful things are going. A couple of nights later, though, Carmen has a nightmare from her time and VILE, and she wants to go home. Gray who was awake for the same reason, though, overhears and is there to comfort her. He holds her till she stops shaking and ends up falling asleep with her.

- The truth was, Carmen was having trouble sleeping because of her nightmares. Tonight is the first night she sleeps peacefully for a long time.

- They take up a habit of sleeping with each other for the rest of the two weeks she's with him. They're just helping each other deal with nightmares, after all. It's totally platonic.

- When Carmen is about to return to Argentina, Gray realizes he isnt ready for her to leave again and tells her he loves her. Carmen hugs him back in tears and repeats his answer into his chest.

- Carmen decides to go bavk university, and wouldn't you know it, the university of Sydney has a great psych & anthropology program.

- When Gray hears that she's extending her stay in Sydney, he is elated! Now they can reset their relationship and try again in their own terms.

(And that's how the relationship starts!!)

- Gray is a very sweet boyfriend. He will actively hype Carmen up, and he HATES when she feels insecure in any shape or form.

- PDA is generally just hand-holding, but Gray likes to press quick kisses to Carmen's cheek just to because he knows she likes it.

- He DEFINITELY is huge on nicknames, but pet names are usually reserved to baby. Carmen usually just calls him Gray or settles for babe.

- Gray looooooveessss cuddling on god. Most nights, he's the big spoon but if Carmen's hair is getting in his face, he's little spoon no question.

- All Carmen has to do to get him wrapped around her finger is to make him his favorite coffee and then play with his hair while giving him an innocent smile.

- When they first moved in with one another, it was a bit of an adjustment. Gray isn't super messy but he's not as particular about keeping things neat as Carmen is.

- Carmen is also very particular about people not touching her food and Gray has to learn the hard way that no one comes between her and her Empanadas.

- They also have to deal with the shower getting clogged by all of Carmen's hair, lol.

- One of Gray's favorite things to do while Carmen is trying to get work done is to lie his head on her lap & whisper sweet things to distract her.

- Gray is huge on teasing and loves making her blush. Or laugh. Or smile. He'll do anything to see Carmen happy, really.

- Carmen sometimes zones out while Gray is going on about something just because of how cute he is.

- Dates are usually at cafes and theaters. They're go-to spot is that cafe in Sydney they first met up at after the lost his memories.

- Gray is quite frugal and cheap, having grown up as a poor orphan, but he insists on paying for things anyways.

- Gray is very spontaneous, and jumps right into things without a second thought. This gets him and Carmen into quite a few tricky predicaments, but it is very endearing to her.

- LATE NIGHT DRIVES WHILE BLASTING INDIE MUSIC IN THE CAR!!

- STAR GAZING AT 3 AM WITH FLAVORED MILK FROM A 24 HOUR CONVENIENCE STORE!!!

- Gray and Carmen are a very active couple. Some of their favorite activities together involve hitting the gym, going on hikes, kickboxing, sparring, and parkour.

- Carmen loves to steal Gray's hoodies and T-Shirts all the time, so to get her back, he often parades around the house with her red coat & fedora get-Up.

- Gray and Carmen both don't get jealous easily, but Carmen is a little bit more prone to it than he is. If she's jealous, she'll just slide up to Gray when he's talking to person she's jealous of and grab his hand or give him a quick kiss.

- When Gray gets jealous, he'll make up small faults like "I heard they only shower once a week" about the person he's jealous of.

- They have a TON of inside jokes. They're witty like that.

- Gray loves to whisper "Good Morning Miss Sandiego" and kiss her awake.

- Gray always makes sure to kiss Carmen at least once before he leaves for work.

- Carmen cannot cook for the life of her. For their anniversary, she tried to make Gray some pavlova but nearly set their apartment on fire by trying to toast the meringue.

- Gray is decent at cooking. He's no Gordon Ramsey but since Carmen absolutely cannot function in the kitchen, he's in charge of the meals.

- He loves to use corny pickup lines on Carmen and at this point, it's just a game to see how many he can think of.

Ex: "are you a piece of bread? Because I want thou to be my BAEgal...."

"Are you part French? Because I think Eiffel for you..."

"Do you like raisins? Well, how do you feel about a date?"

"If you were a transformer, Carmen, you'd be optimus fine."

"Are you a chicken? Because baby you sure are impeccable..."

- Carmen, in turn, loves spouting random geography facts to Gray. They could be doing practically anything, riding a rollercoaster, doing the devils tango, or sleeping at 3 AM, and she'll go "Did you know that the Qing & Yuan dynasties were the only time foreigners sat on China's imperial throne?"

- Gray loves to make Carmen do cheesy shit with him like dancing in the rain.

- Make out sessions on the regular, and both sides insinuate.

- Gray tends to lead during sexy times, but only because Carmen likes it that way (she could easily be the top😌)

- Gray was the first to say "I love you." His love languages are physical touch and words of affirmation, so he likes to come up behind Carmen and hug her waist and whisper I Love You Into her neck.

- At the beginning of their relationship, Carmen said I love you a lot less often. To her, the words were sacred, almost, and she didnt want to ruin the depth of their meaning. However, she eventually realized that even though Gray told her he loved her about a thousand times a day, he meant it every time.

- They both adopt 2 kids but never have any of their own. They had a talk, and Gray told Carmen wanted to adopt children in the system and give them a better life than he had. Carmen was totally fine with adopting as they were family nonetheless.

- Neither Gray nor Carmen feels pressure to get married. They don't really feel the need to define their relationship with the title of "husband and wife" because they already know how much they mena to each other.

- When they do get married, it's late in their thirties or early forties where they just run off to Paris and have a quick and private ceremony.

- Their children are named Sydney & London or maybe even Vera if Carmen has a sense of humor about it, but it's a city/country name.

- They still go to their cafe in Sydney deep into their elderly years, even long after the establishment is shut down and replaced by a motel. It's there special place, after all, even if that means they have to now make their own coffee when going to visit it.
