Sarutobi was undergoing a major battle with his opponent and was loosing. There infront of him was lied his opponent " paperwork ". He prayed for distraction & was rewarded with his office door barging open.
Looking up he saw depressed Naruto. Asking what was bothering him. Naruto asked about his parents & was replied that he is supposed to keep this information hidden.
Naruto accepted & was glad that all his questions about family will be answered and his worries will disappear.
He as told that his parents were none other than 4th Hokage: Minato Namikaze and whirlpool princess Uzumaki Kushina.
Suprised but understanding he asked if they loved him.
Sarutobi replied that there parents loved him to death. Naruto finally gave Sarutobi a genuine smile, being happy.
His thoughts were cut short when Sarutobi revealed that he told the information because he will be receiving his inheritance after chunin exams and also since he was the heir of whirlpool, what would he like to do with it. And did he want his heritage known or not.
Naruto after thinking for an hour told the Hokage that he will keep his heritage a secret but after recieving his inheritance he will give 20% to the village and will think about whirlpool later and left. Whereas in his mind he was going through slight different thoughts then what he told. He was thinking that since life of ninja was short and unpredictable, why would he waste his time by making the people of konoha accept him. And since he gave a part of his inheritance to konoha quickly, he erased he doubt in Sarutobi's mind of him being not extremely loyal. He taught that he will make his own village.
He was a little vary of Sarutobi because knowing his parents was his right but was told very late. And afterall all ninja's have their own secrets.
He decided he might discuss the idea with Sakura, because she is a good listener and will advise truthfully on what she thinks is best to do.
With that thoughts and what to do next he slept.
