Y/N's POV :

Today's practice has been hell. Coach Orion has been working us to death. I was doing terrible during practice and I was so frustrated with myself. Everything has been so much harder on me not having Adam on the team. When practice was over we all head into the locker room with Coach following right behind us. "Is this really all you guys got?" He yells. He then turns to me and tells me "I expect more from you y/n. I expect more from all of you." Hearing that felt like a stab in the heart. Coach puts the schedule for next weeks practice on the board and walks out of the locker room. I was hurt by what he said , I knew he just wanted me to give it my all but things have just been rough lately without having my boyfriend Adam on the team by my side. Julie and Connie see I was hurt by his comment and they both come and hug me and tell me how amazing I am and to keep my head up. Everyone got changed and I just sat on the bench by myself , Julie sits beside me and says "hey wanna come eat with Connie and I ?" I slowly shake my head no and say "I'm just gonna shower and clear my head but I appreciate it, maybe tomorrow when I'm feeling a bit better. I love you both!" Julie gives me another hug showing she understands and walks away and smiles at me before her and Connie leave the gym.

I was there alone , just showering to clear my head, I got a text from Adam asking where I was and I told him the locker room showering.

Adam : Hey babe! I just saw Connie and Julie outside walking , where are you? I thought you'd be with them, do you need me?

Y/N: hey ! I'm in the locker room showering , had a rough practice, I'll see you later tho.

( you put your phone in your locker and get into the shower )

Adam : Are you sure you don't need me ??

Adam : babe??

Adam: please answer y/n I'm worried

You turn on the radio in the locker room to listen to music while in the shower. I'm singing the songs that are playing. I then hear someone clear their throat, I turn around trying to cover my body with my hands and see Riley from the varsity team standing there holding my clothes.

He stares at me and says "what a beautiful girl Adam has , maybe you should be mine instead." His evil smile sickened me. He starts to walk closer to me while I'm screaming to the top of my lungs. Riley says "honey Adam isn't saving you , stop trying." Before Riley could walk any closer to me Adam runs behind him and punches him. Adam screams "do not ever mess with her , look at her , or speak to her ever again you piece of shit. I cannot wait to show tell your dad about this. Say goodbye to Eden Hall Riley. And don't ever. And I mean EVER harm a female. " Before Riley could get up again Adam kicks him and grabs me and carries me back to my dorm room and lays with me. I cannot stop crying, I just look up at Adam and say "I'm so sorry Adam." Adam looks at me and starts to cry and says "y/n. This is not your fault. You did nothing wrong. I promise we will get this handled, I will never ever let anything happen to you." He holds me tightly the rest of the night kissing my head. "You are my hero Adam." He smiles at you and spends the night with you in your dorm to keep you safe. Adam makes sure to come get you after each practice you have to keep you safe. He truly is my life saver.
