Y/n P.o.v

Five days until the funeral.

The bald man stared at me for a moment, acknowledging my sudden discomfort; he spoke, "You don't have to, I'm only suggesting."

I stared at him for a long moment, my eyes slowly fell to the floor.

"I don't think a kit is necessary... It h-happened at least two we-weeks ago, sir..." I pursed my dry lips together and awaited a response.

"So i'm assuming you've changed your mind?" He asked, turning the door knob and opening the door just a bit.

"Yeah... I-I guess..." I sighed shakily, the grown man hesitantly nodded, "I'll send you back to the meds, please don't change our procedures again." And with that, he exited the empty room and shut the door.

The thing is, when I arrived here, the doctors wanted to clean me up and examine me. But I was so hooked on trying to get Carter help I had begged them to take me into the interrogation rooms first.

I had to believe he was okay.

I sat back against the chair, I stared blankly at the wall, the dim light in the room reflecting off of the clean yet barren walls. I took a deep breath and bit my bottom lip, waiting to be taken back for doctors to study.

What would they find out about my baby?...

My dead baby...

~

I slowly exited the empty room, my slim arm being held firmly by a young woman who wore a messy brunette bun in her hair.

I followed slowly as the young woman and a younger man escorted me to the back for examination.

~

I sat completely stiff, attempting to keep my back straight.

But it only sent a chilling pain through my body, I cringed and slouched forward. The young woman narrowed her eyes at me, the male doctor holding my dress in his hands as he quickly left the room. "I'm very sorry if this makes you uncomfortable, Ms. L/n. But we need to treat all the wounds, and you've got a lot..." She mumbled, focusing on my naked body.

She scrunched her nose at the sight of various stitches that spread across my vulnerable body, bruises scattered around my skin whilst scratches peeked about here and there.

"Wh-What's your name?..." I whispered, completely avoiding what she had just said.

She took a step away and made her way to a metal tray that sat at the foot of the bed I sat in, she began to fiddle with a few of the tools when she responded.

"Mrs. Phillies," she swallowed and lifted a small needle from the tray, staring directly at the pointy tip of the object.

"Please just call me Agatha." She finished and picked up a small jar from the tray, she placed the tip of the needle against the small cork of the jar and drew some of the liquid inside of it into the needle.

She set the jar down and flicked the needle, she proceeded to make her way back to me. Using her free hand to drag the tray with her and closer to my naked body.

I took a deep breath as my eyes widened at the sight of such a sharp needle, it was so pointed, I could practically feel the needle stabbing through my skin at this point.

Agatha stopped in front of me and held a hand out, "Your arm," she said in a calm tone. I nodded slowly and handed her my arm, she grabbed me by my wrist and placed the tip of the needle just above the skin of my wrist.

She then pressed it into me and shot what I assumed to be medication into my stream.

I held my breath and closed my eyes, Agatha sighed and rolled her own.

"What the hell did this guy do to you?" She asked, making her way to the other side of the bed to examine my back.

Her jaw dropped at the realization that my spine seemed extremely visible due to my skinny frame.

"Damn..." She whispered under her breath, cupping a hand over her mouth at the sight of my spine swerving harshly to the side and then straightening once again.

"That's not normal... How the hell are you moving as well as you are?" She asked, placing a soft hand against my back. She began to study the dark purple bruise that covered my bare back.

I gulped at her words, "He's a clown..." I mumbled, earning a huff from Agatha.

"Really now?"

"Yes..."

"Okay! Let's all just... Be quiet so I can get to work on you, I think you'll need to get a little bit of surgery on your back though, alright? There's no telling what your body could do to you if we don't fix that." She explained, making her way around the bed and back to the tray.

I nodded slowly.

"Just make me f-feel better..."

~

It was dark outside, at least one in the morning. But how could I tell?

I've been in and out of operating rooms and interrogation rooms.

Millions of questions being asked and only a few being answered.

I mean, I don't know everything.

I curled up into the hospital bed and wrapped my frail body with the thick blanket, I curled into a small, shivering ball. I could hear the ventilation kicking in from outside of my room.

I rested my head against my pillow and closed my eyes.

Not that I was expecting to fall asleep easily, I struggled to go to bed anyways.

Now with all the horrifying things that have plagued my mind, I doubt i'll even get an hour of sleep.

I placed my small hand against my stomach with a sigh. The doctors had been so caught up with my stitches and cuts that they didn't even bother to check on my baby, I was almost certain my baby was dead. But I needed to know for sure.

I took a deep breath and relaxed my nerves the best I could, I could see the light of the room shining through my closed eyelids. I had requested for my lights to remain on.

I took another deep breath, in and out.

I placed a hand under my cheek as to become more comfortable.

I clenched my eyes shut, the light only frustrating me the slightest bit.

Strangely enough, I still felt tired.

~

I leaned away from the clown that sat in front of me, my baby still wrapped up in his lanky arms.

This is the most quiet Pennywise has been.

I drew in a deep breath and reached my handless arm out, only to pull it back when I remembered I was missing a bit of an important limb.

Pennywise let out a quiet giggle, he lowered his blue eyes to look down at the baby, the small infant let out a small whine.

I sighed loudly and threw my head up, my baby was alive?

Maybe in my dreams.

I stared at Pennywise for another moment, he was focused on my baby.

His baby.

He began to rock the baby side to side as to calm it, this only reminding me of my past actions with the now deceased baby Pennywise had given me just a day ago.

I frowned at the sight before me.

Was he mocking me, or being sincere?
