Y/n P.o.v
Five days until the funeral.
Carter lowered his head and looked around, he then slowly stood up.
"C-Can you stand?" He asked.
"Well- How else w-would I have gotten here?" I questioned in a sarcastic tone, though it probably wasn't a very good idea, considering our current circumstances.
Carter rolled his eyes and watched me intently as I carefully climbed to my feet, using the wall of the well to hoist myself up and into a standing position.
I looked up at Carter, silently asking what we should do next.
"W-We'll get out of here, okay?" He asked and I nodded quickly, I placed my hand on my forehead; my movements making me dizzier than I already was.
Carter shifted to look around before flinching at the sudden sounds that echoed from inside the well that sat planted to the ground behind me.
It was the sound of tapping.
We both knew who it was, we quickly looked at each other, panic building up in our locked stare.
Carter grabbed my arm and swiftly dragged me to the back of the well, he shoved me to the floor and held his hands out in front of me.
"Stay there," he commanded in a hushed tone, he hurried back to the front of the well. He threw himself to the floor and acted as if he had been asleep.
I slid to the dirt floor, my heart pounding out of my chest as I cupped my hands over my mouth to shield my heavy breathing. I couldn't see what was happening due to the walls of the well hiding me, but I could hear.
"Hiya, Carty!" Pennywise giggled, I could hear him shuffle around in the well, climbing out of it and hopping to the floor. My body tensed at his presence, if I didn't calm down, he might figure out I was here.
Carter slowly sat up, giving a slow, fake yawn before his eyes widened.
"Hi..." He mumbled slowly, his eyes shifting to the floor.
I listened carefully as Pennywise leaned towards him, the bells that collected on his suit giving a small jingle at his movement. "I got a few more questions for ya!" He grinned, clapping a few times to make the situation more uncomfortable.
Carter nodded slowly, "O-Okay..."
There was a long silence, but I could hear the movement of what I assumed to be Pennywise getting in a comfortable position.

"How do humans have little-" Pennywise paused to breath in, I could feel a hesitation in his voice.
"Have infants?" He asked.
The silence was horrible.
Awkward.
And then the panic rose up in my gut, I grew nauseous. If Carter told him, he might piece everything together.
He might find out the baby was his!
I breathed in and clenched my eyes shut, I could feel my heart beat nearly breaking out of my chest.
"H-Hum... H-Humans... They um..." Carter took a deep breath, obviously uncomfortable about the situation.
And the fact that there was another human in the room.
But most importantly, a grown male, in clown face, was asking how humans had babies.
"They have t-to do a certain... " He paused, clearing his throat before continuing.
"A certain... Thing..." He finished.
I could feel the confusion and slight hint of anger in Pennywise's voice as he responded.
"What thing, Carty?" He asked, I could hear that he had bared his teeth together as he spoke. Carter took a moment before going in depth with his explanation.
"Y-You have this... Right?..." He hesitantly asked, doing an awkward jacking off motion at the front of his dirtied jeans. Pennywise tilted his head and furrowed his brows, "Of course." He responded in a low voice.
I could just imagine him looking down at his crotch and being offended that Carter would even question if he had what humans had.
It would be funny if this wasn't I life or death situation.
Carter nodded slowly and began speaking once again, "You know what um... G-Girls have?..." He asked hesitantly, I could feel a burning heat slowly spreading across my cheeks.
Pennywise breathed in, "I think so..."
He must have done something this symbolize what Carter had been talking about because the next thing I heard was Carter, "Y-Yeah..." I knew he was probably blushing terribly at the moment.
"Those things e-end up kind of... C-connecting?..." He questioned his words for a moment before adding on.
"The-Then me and you... S-Since we have... Uh... This-" he gestured to his crotch.
"That thing... Ahem... Would do something... And eventually g-girls could-could have a b-bab-baby from it..." He mumbled, reaching a hand behind his head to scratch the back of his neck.
The silence filled the room once again, Pennywise rose to his feet and stepped forward, getting closer to Carter.

I could hear a low growl escape his lips.
"You mean to tell me... is how humans have tiny little babies?..." He questioned, I could hear his long, black claws escape his white gloves.
Carter let out a whine.
"Y-Yes!..."
I knew Pennywise was upset.
I don't know if he had pieced it together or not, but he must have realized that I had lied to him.
The long silence returned one last time.
Only to be broken by an eldritch cry filling the room.
And the sound of a body hitting the floor, I shifted my eyes to the side and turned my body to peer around the wall of the well. Pennywise sat on his knees, his head hung low while his black claws kneaded at the dirt floor.
My eyes widened at the sight, Carter sat in front of him, staring in horror.
Pennywise letting out eery whines of what seemed like sorrow.
I slowly climbed to my feet and watched, I made sure I was still silent.
Carter's eyes shifted to make eye contact with me, he gave me a look as if asking 'Why is this clown crying now?'
In all honesty, I didn't know if Pennywise was actually capable of human emotions. So I gave a hesitant shrug. I slowly emerged from behind the well and quietly shuffled passed Pennywise's body, his movement were as if he really was crying.
But I couldn't see his face at the angle I was in, so I kept moving.
Pennywise shifted his body a bit and dug his sharp talons into the dirt.
I couldn't tell if he was crying out of frustration or sorrow, but I didn't wanna stick around to find out.
I reached the stairs and stared down at them, they were far to old to be quiet.
We'd be found out just after the first step. I turned and looked at Carter, he watched me with wide, worried eyes.
He shook his head slowly.
And I silently agreed.
We couldn't leave until Pennywise was gone.
I watched, completely out in the open as Pennywise slowly arose to his feet.
I could see him now, tears were streaming down his deathly white cheeks. I almost felt bad.
But I was more focused on surviving.
Pennywise stared down at Carter, "I have some business to attend to, Carty." He sniffled, before turning in my opposite direction and shuffling his feet towards the well.
I quivered at the thought that he might of been planning on returning to his den to hurt me- or worse.
I cupped a hand over my mouth to keep from crying, I pinned myself against the wall and watched every movement Pennywise made in a terrifying silence.
Pennywise swiftly turned in Carter's direction once again, and I almost crumbled to the floor out of an anxious break down. But I forced my knees not to buckle under my weight.
"I'll be back, my friend!" And with that, he shook the human emotions off of his and slowly slithered into the well before disappearing from our view.
We both refused to move, obviously we both feared he might just be fooling us and hiding out until we started talking.
So we waited a long minute or so before letting out loud sighs of relief in unison. Carter shakily attempted to stand, so I made my way towards him and held my hand out for him to grab hold of. He looked up at me with a grateful look plastered on his face before reaching upward and grabbing hold of my hand, he then hoisted himself up and looked around.
"G-Go..." He commanded, pointing at the worn down stairs.
I obeyed and rushed towards the stairs, my feet landing on the first step only to hear a loud creak escape the wooden floor board.
I looked back at Carter who stood directly behind me, he looked down at me and gave a reassuring nod.
"It's okay..." He said in a hushed tone, stroking my cheek with his thumb before lowering it to his side, he was copying what I had done earlier when he had broken down.
I gave him a small nod and hesitantly began up the steps, my eyes never leaving the last step that lead to the floor above us.
I panicked the slightest bit at the sound of steps behind me creaking, I looked back and sighed at the sight of Carter quietly following me up the steps.
I turned and continued up the stairs.
Into an unknown future.
