It was the 20th of January and the 3 adults were -as usual- in the styles house, Louis was seated between Gemma and Zayn and they were worried because he's been looking at that same wall since he sat down 30 minutes ago

Gemma gave Zayn and look and he shrugged and poked Louis a few times

Eleanor smiled and nodded, she took Louis hand and led him in then sat him on the couch and sat beside him and held his hands

"Well, he is but he isn't" both Louis and Zayn turned to Gemma and gave her a weird look "he might break up with nick soon, he's been too busy with his band-"

"It's not my band gem, it's Sarah's" Harry said from the door

"HE IS RIGHT, IT IS MY BAND"

"OK SORRY YOU GARNISHED SAUSAGE, he's been busy with SARAHS band that he is the lead singer for"

"Oh..."

"Yeah"

Harry walked into the living room and smiled "hello"

"Hello H" "I see you every morning" "Hi Hazza"

"Introduce us to your band"

"LISTEN PRETTY BOY, ITS MY BAND NOT HIS"

Harry laughed softly at how Sarah was pointing at Zayn

"Sarah that's Liam's boyfriend Zayn"

"Ohhhhh"

"Yeah so no screaming at him" Liam said leaning on the door frame

"LIAM"

"Hi Zee"

"where's my hi..."

"NIALL" everyone screamed in unison making Niall's eyes widen and make him laugh

"THAT WAS LOUD"

Gemma looked at Harry and nibbled on her bottom lip "Harry dads coming"

Just like that the smile on Harry's face fell and he nodded slowly "o-oh... umm ok"

"Yeah, he'll be here in 30 minutes"

Harry nodded before walking out and leading his friends out, Zayn stood up and dusted himself off

"Mum wants me home, we're having family dinner so... even though it always ends in fights and my father screaming 'ALRIGHT IN YOUR ROOMS' 5 minutes into it"

"Yeah, Gem would you mind if I stay"

"Course I don't" Gemma said smiling before leading Zayn out

She came in and grabbed Louis by his arm and led him upstairs him stumbling before she pushing him in, going in after him and closing the door

"Listen, don't talk about band, or anything about Harry that he doesn't say. If you see Harry telling my father that he still does football you stay quiet ok?"

"Gem-"

"Please Lou, our dad isn't supportive as it seems, Harry will be extra quiet when our father is here"

"But-"

"I'll explain everything later, but I need to change now"

"Ok... why?"

"I said I'll explain later, now get out" as Louis walked out of Gemma's room he saw Harry wearing a football jersey and furrowed his eyebrows

"You look like a closeted jock"

"When my father is here-" the doorbell rang "I am"

They 2 boys walked down the stairs and saw Anne opening the door, an officer and a man came in with him

The mans eyes landed on Harry and Harry's breath hitched, he fixed his back posture and put his hands behind his back and Louis saw him fiddle with them

"Harry. You don't have to worry, I'm here" the officer said and Harry nodded still slightly shakey

Louis thought his dinners were depressing, Anne who was usually smiling had a scowl on her face, Gemma looked like a girl who just left church and Harry -admitted he- was a closeted jock

"Harry... how's football?"

"G-good"

"What's with the hair growth?"

"Dad-"

"N-no uhh... just g-growing it for c-charity"

"It's grown quiet long"

"That's kinda the point" Louis mumbled

"Did you say anything boy?"

Louis looked up and shook his head before going back to his food

"I want to use the bathroom, Harry where is it?"

"I-its d-down the hall"

"That's not how I raised you... SHOW me"

Harry looked at the officer who stood up and helped Mr. styles up before Harry led them to the bathroom

Once they were out of sight Louis turned to Gemma

"Ok nun explain"

"Dad is closed minded, he is abusive and he told Harry that he should only talk as little as he was allowed to and his voice should never get raised, he never allowed Harry's friends over or allowed Harry to use his phone unsupervised. When mum and I went to visit last time Harry told me all of this but I thought he was joking, so a week before he was set to move in with us Gerald, the officer with my dad called my mum and told her everything, Harry was beaten up badly by my dad once he tried to come out to him that it was the final straw, he ran to their neighbors and begged them to call the police before he collapsed, Harry woke up 3 days later and he told everything to the police, dad was taken into jail but was since he was in his best behaviors, whenever Harry visits him Gerald is always around"

"Shit Gem that-"

"GET OFF OF ME"

Louis jumped off his seat like it was on fire and ran towards where the sound was coming from, Anne and Gemma running after him

They saw Desmond cornering Harry in a corner while Harry was trying to squirm out of his grip

Louis -without thinking twice- jumped on his back and pulled him back, the man was more than twice his size and upon seeing the bruise on Harry's cheek he knew he wanted to kill this man

He pulled Des back and threw him against the floor climbing on top of him and punching him

He was kicked in the ribs and fell back and Demond climbed on top of him and beat him until Louis nose started to blood

Gemma took the chair Desmond suck under the Handle of the door, the officer got out of the bathroom and pulled Desmond off of Louis and Harry rushed to him

"YOU IDIOT" Harry said wiping Louis blood off his face with the sleeve of his jersey

"I'm pretty sure I broke an arm..."

"Why would you do that?"

"Because you fool... I'm in love with you"
