Nesrin and Hermione walked to the great hall like every day but still, it seemed different today. They stayed quiet the whole way walking which usually never happens. One of them always have to say something, even if it's just random thoughts, but not today. It was silent, both girls thinking about boys.
They enter the great hall and hear the loud noice of all students talking and laughing. They just walk over to their spot and sit down. "What's up ladies?" Lee asks smiling. He is worried but doesn't show it.
"We're fine Lee, just thinking in our own little worlds." Nesrin replies sighing. Ginny walks past not even looking at Hermione. Usually their the best friends.
"That was pretty cold, what happened?" Ron asks being worried for both his friend as little sister. Hermione looks over to the little redhead.
"We had an argument about a boy and now she's still mad." Hermione says being done with everything.
To everyone's surprise, Edmund walked over to their table. He smiles at Nesrin who smiles back and he gets to his older brother. "Susan asked me to give this to you. No idea what it is but good luck." He says giving a piece of parchment to Peter. Edmund glances over to Nesrin one last moment before walking away again.
"Well at least one of us has luck with the new boy." Hermione says poking Nesrin's arm. She rolls her eyes and sees George glancing at the Ravenclaw table.
"Oh no! Not you too!" Nesrin says looking at George.
"I don't know Nes, it almost seems like those new students love torturing us with their perfection." George replies staring at Susan. Nesrin rolls her eyes again. They finish breakfast and get to class.

First class for Nesrin of the day is herbology with professor Sprout. They all walk inside and get ready for weird plant theory. Edmund stands alone which makes Nesrin sad. Maybe it's my fault, because he stood up for me? She thinks.
She walks over to Edmund and stands beside him. "Hello, why are you standing alone?" She asks softly.
"Hi, oh well I don't think the other Slytherins really like me that much." Edmund replies nodding in the direction of Draco and Pansy talking.
"Don't worry, it would've been weird if they did like you. They hate everyone and anyone they don't know." Nesrin replies. Professor Sprout starts the class, explaining everything possible about different plants. They finally get out and walk over to their next class.
Nesrin stays with Edmund the whole day since she can't see him being alone. After all classes they walk to the library like the previous day to study together. They enter the library and sit down in the corner.
Nesrin explains things about transfiguration and shows Edmund some spells. He admires every movement of her wand when she says the spells and makes her owl disappear. He tries a couple of times messing up badly but Nesrin helps and gives tips.
"We should probably stop, we have ten minutes till dinner." Edmund says softly watching the clock in the room. Ow well tomorrow we'll see each other again I guess. Nesrin doesn't like it. She wants to spend more time with Edmund although she can't explain why.
Peter walks in catching the attention of Edmund and Nesrin. He is followed by seven girls desperate for him to notice them. He gets a book and walks back outside, ignoring the girls like it's normal for him to be chased. The girls don't give up though and follow him back outside. "Peter seems to have luck, every girl likes him." Edmund says looking down.

"Not every girl." Nesrin replies quickly, too quickly. Edmund looks up confused.
"What do you mean?" He asks making directly eye contact with Nesrin next to him.
"I don't like him. I mean he is a great guy but I'm not in love with him all of a sudden." Nesrin replies smiling. She doesn't? Why not? Seems like she could easily get him if she wanted. Edmund thinks.
"Then you're the first one being different from the others." Edmund replies gathering his stuff together.
"Yeah well, I like being different, different is a good thing, right?" Nesrin asks suddenly a bit less confident.
"Yeah, if everyone was the same we would live in a really boring world." Edmund replies smiling.
They take their stuff and walk to the great hall in a comfortable silence. Both of them just walking next to each other, thinking about different things. Why don't you just talk to him, ask him his favorite color or something stupid. Just to hear his voice. She thinks. She can't stand her thoughts sometimes.
Make her talk to hear that adorable high pitched voice, of make her laugh to see that cute smile. Or do something that will break this stupid silence. Edmund's thoughts are slowly killing him. He wants to tell her, scream at her what she makes him feel like but he stays quiet, until they reach the great hall.
"Well, I guess I see you tomorrow then." Edmund says when they both stopped and looked at each other at the front of the great hall, in the doorway.
"Yup, tomorrow it is." Nesrin replies but none of them makes a move to leave. Should I hug him? Is that weird? She thinks. She actually hesitates though.
Just leave Edmund, you're making it awkward for yourself. He thinks. Suddenly her two arms are wrapped around him in a hug, he is confused at first but quickly changes his mind and hugs her back. Did she really just...
Did I really just, and did he just hug me back? They pull back, both having a slightest blush on their face and both smiling. They walk away at the same time and sit down at their own tables. "Did I just see that correctly? Did you hug him?" Hermione asks Nesrin.
"I think I did, and did he hug me back?" Nesrin asks back being confused as to what had just happened.
"I think he did! You're going straight for him don't you?" George asks happily. He loves seeing his best friend like that, he never saw her in love or even close to this.
"He must really like you Nesrin, Edmund usually hates hugs and would rather pull away then hug back." Peter says smiling proudly over to his little brother at a different table.
