《Malfoy v. Diggory (reader x draco malfoy x cedric diggory x reader love story)》chapter 24

"I'll catch up with you later." I say as I wave goodbye to Luna and skip over to Draco who's too busy with his own thoughts to be aware of his soundings. I approach him from behind and cover his eyes with my hands. "Guess who" I hum in his ear.
"Blaise?" he replies with a grin.
I roll my eyes in response. I uncover his eyes and hug him from behind. "Is there something going on between you and Blaise that I'm unaware of?" I mock.
He pulls out of my embrace, turning to face me and cups my face. "Sorry, he made me promise not to tell" he smirks.
"If you're trying to get me to kick his ass it's working" I chuckle.
He laughs.
I give him a quick kiss and pull away.
"Woah, where're you going?"
"You should be getting ready for your last match of the year. I don't want to be a distraction, I'll see you there love". I give him one last smile before walking over to the great hall.
---
I spot Blaise sitting alone at our table and decide to give him company. "Hey Blaise!"
Blaise sees me and smiles. "Y/n, hey. How're you?"
"Fantastic! Today's the last day of school and there's no better way to end the year than with a good Quidditch match" I respond. I fix myself a plate and continue on. "Want to accompany me to the game?"
"Yeah, of course" he responds.
"You know, you should really try out for the Quidditch team next year" I announce.
Blaise looks up from his food meeting my eyes. "I think I will, it'll be great fun to play with Draco. I already practice with him often."
"Great! Well, I should get going, I still have one last assignment to turn in for extra credit". I get up from my seat and place a quick peck on Blaises cheek. "I'll be in the library" I shout as I exit the great hall doors.
---
I take seat at a table in the far corner of the library and get to work. Professor McGonagall granted me an extra credit assignment to help boost my grade. She gave me a packet on how to turn objects into several different things, and then after reading I basically had to restate what I just read.

"Y/n?"
I lift my eyes off the paper and and see Cedric. "Cedric, hey!" I beam. It's been a couple months since I last spoke to him. We didn't really talk much after the whole Draco incident, but things were good this way.
He takes a seat at my same table, placing himself across from me. "How've you been?" he asks with a cheery smile.
"Great, actually" I respond.
"Things must've worked for you and Draco then?" he asks.
I nod.
"That's good, I'm glad you're happy Y/n" he beams.
"And yourself? How've you been?"
"I've been pretty good as well, keeping busy" he replies.
"Ced!"
I shift my attention over to the Ravenclaw standing at the exit of the library, surely the one who just called Cedrics name. Cedric turns around spotting the Ravenclaw then turns back to me. "I've got to go, but I'll see you next year." He proceeds to stand up and join the Ravenclaw out of the library. Who even was that? I couldn't really make out their face, they were too far away.
I focus back on my work and eventually finish it. I run over to McGonagalls classroom to turn it in, but no ones there. I place my work on her desk hoping she'll see it and I quickly leave the room. I would've waited for her to arrive or had gone to look for her, but I didn't want to miss the Quidditch match.
On my way back to my room I run into Luna. "Hey Luna!" I say stoping in my tracks.
"Hey" she responds with a soft smile.
"Headed to the game?" I ask.
"Yes, even though it's not a Hufflepuff game I'm off to support Gryffindor, see you there." she says and skips off to the direction of the field.
I finally arrive in my room and struggle to find something to wear. I've just about dumped everything from my closet and dresser and found nothing. I sit on bed in defeat. 'Ugh'. And then a light bulb goes off. I swiftly leave my room closing the door behind me and walk down the hall to Dracos room. I open the door carefully just in case he happens to be there, though he should already be on the field. Empty. I walk over to his dresser and open the second drawer. Ahha! I pull out his Quidditch sweater and hold it up observing it. It has his last name on the back and a '#7' on the left cuff of the sleeve.

"Y/n?"
I snap my head to the door and see Blaise standing there.
"What're you doing here?" he asks leaning against the wall.
I rest the sweater on my forearm and close the drawer. "Well I was struggling to find something to wear to the last match of the year and thought maybe I could wear this?" I say holding up Dracos sweater. "You think he'll mind?"
Blaise laughs. "No, I'm sure he'd love to see you in his sweater" he responds.
"Brilliant!" I pull the sweater over my head and immediately get hit with the smell of Dracos cologne. I smile. I walk over to his large mirror and adjust the sweater once more before leaving with Blaise.
---
As Blaise and I walk over to the Slytherin section of the stands I notice a familiar Hufflepuff sitting with the Ravenclaw that most likely was the same one I saw in the library. After a couple people shift over paving the way for me to see clearly, I'm able to finally identify the couple: Cedric and Cho. My eyes roam down to their hands and notice Cedric holding her hand. I subconsciously feel my mouth drop open.
"Y/n, are you coming?" Blaise asks tugging at my arm.
I turn my attention away from them and onto Blaise. "Yes. Lead the way!"
We take our seats and wait for the game to start. Cedric and Cho? Since when? I couldn't help but feel a little jealous. But I immediately snap myself out of it, I have no right being jealous. He's found someone who makes him happy I reassure.
---
After a nail biting game between Gryffindor and Slytherin, though both did amazing Slytherin won, winning them the house cup.
"Do you want to come down to the field with me to congratulate Draco?" I ask turning over to Blaise.
"No that's fine you go ahead. I'll meet you guys back in the common room" he reassures, standing up to leave. He's no doubt about to go help set up a victory party.
I wait in the stands until each team is released back onto the field after having changed out of their uniform. Once I spot Draco on the field I jolt down from the stands and onto the field.
"Draco" I announce engulfing him into a hug. "You did so good" I praise.
"Thank you love" he says backing away to take a look at me. "Is that mine?" he questions pointing at the sweater I have on.
"No, actually it's Marcus Flints. He leant it to me a couple days ago" I tease. In saying this I knew it would make Draco angry, but I liked messing around with him.
"Y/n I swear-"
But before he can finish I turn around pointing to the back of the sweater.
He lets out a sigh. "You know I'm not always going to give you a chance to explain yourself" he smirks.
"Well try" I grin.
He lifts me up placing me on his lower abdomen as I wrap my legs around him. He places his forehead against mine as he smirks. "You look so good in my sweater" he whispers. I bite my lower lip looking down at him. "Good, because it's mine now Malfoy" I respond.
We make our way over to the common room and as soon as we enter we are meet with loud booming music and a bunch of fellow Slytherins dancing. I kiss Draco before walking in. "I'm so glad I met you this year Draco." He smiles down at me intertwining his hand with mine and places a kiss on it. "Me too."
