Jai and I walk out of the house hand-in-hand. He opens the door to the limo and we climb in. He tells the driver where to take us. I lean against him and close my eyes. All the fresh air today has made me so tired, but I will push through it to spend the night with my boyfriend.

Jai looks at me. "I love you, Chloe."

Turning around I look at him. "I love you, too."

He leans down and claims my lips. I wrap my arms behind his neck and deepen the kiss.

If I keep doing this with Jai we're probably going to end up naked in the back seat of the limo and I really don't want anyone other than Jai to see me naked.

I pull away from him and he frowns. "What's wrong?" He asks.

"I don't want to have sex in the back of the limo."

He laughs. "I think I might have to show you some interesting places where we can do it." He winks. "It's a rush knowing that you could get caught at any moment."

I touch his face. "Have you done that before?"

He shakes his head. "You're the only woman that I have thought about doing it with."

I laugh. "Someday we can take the chance and do it, but right now I want to do it in places I feel comfortable with."

He kisses me again. "Anything you want, baby."

"Thank you,"

The limo comes to a stop and we step out.

Jai takes my hand as we walk into the restaurant.

There are candles on the tables and the lights are turned off. Also, there are hearts around the room.

It's not Valentine's Day. Why do they have all this stuff up?

A waitress walks over to us. Her eyes linger on Jai.

He pulls me into his arms and he kisses the top of my head.

She clears her throat and her eyes never leave Jai's face. "I'm Anya. I will be your waitress this evening." She looks around. "Is it a table for two? Or are you expecting more people to come?"

I look at her. "It's only the two of us. Can you get us a table that's not in your section? I don't want to be put off my food with you flirting with my man. Besides, I don't trust that you won't try to slip something into my food."

Jai wraps his arms around me. "Do you still want to eat here?"

Touching his chest, I say. "Yes, any place with you will be safe. I know you won't let anything happen to me." I see my cousin sitting in the corner booth in the dark.

So, that's where he's been hiding? In the shadows. Now, I know where to find him when I need him. He isn't that good when it comes to his job if he keeps showing himself to me.

I whisper to Jai. "Did you know my cousin is here?"

He shakes his head. "I didn't tell him where we were going. He does have his way of finding things out himself." Jai looks at him. "Do you want to say hello to him?"

"No, this is our date and I'm not going to let anyone ruin it. Especially, him." I follow the waitress to the table. I sit down and look over the menu.

There's heaps of nice food on here. I look at the pictures on the other page and I lick my lips when I see the seafood basket.

I show Jai the picture. "Can you share it with me please?"

He smiles. "Alright, we'll also get some garlic bread and dessert. I know that you'll love the chocolate sundae."

I rise and kiss him on the cheek. "Thank you."

He pulls me onto him and he claims my lips. He pushes his tongue into my mouth and I deepen the kiss as I wrap my arms behind his neck.

Someone clears their throat behind us.

Rude. I thought as I continue to kiss Jai.

The person clears their throat again. "If you two don't separate right now I'm going to have to ask you to leave."

I pull away from Jai and look at this guy with disgust. "What do you want?"

He holds up the notepad and pen. "I'm here to take your order." He leans in closer to us. "I don't think the other patrons feel comfortable with you two nearly having sex on the table."

I feel my face heat up and lie my head on Jai's chest.

Jai laughs and kisses the top of my head. "I didn't think you would get embarrassed that quick." He looks at the guy. "We will take the seafood basket and garlic bread."

The guy writes the order down and he walks away.

I rise and move over to my seat. Crossing my legs I fill the glass in front of me with water.

The waiter comes back with a bottle of white wine.

When did Jai order the wine?

The waiter pours two glasses for us and then he puts the bottle into a bucket with ice. He walks away from the table.

Jai picks up his glass and he looks at me. "To our first real date without worrying about Aleysa and Nate. I'm glad you agreed to come out on a date with me." We clink glasses and take a sip of the wine.

The wine has a fruity taste to it.

Jai puts the glass down. "What do you think of the wine?"

"It's great. I like the fruity tang it has." He nods. "What kind of wine is it." He tells me the name of it. "We should order some bottles when we're at home."

Jai pulls his phone out and he types stuff into it. He looks at me. "I just ordered six bottles. "We're going to need them for the upcoming parties at our place."

What parties?

The waiter returns with the garlic bread and seafood basket.

There's a different variety of seafood in the plate. There's prawn cutlets, prawns, calamari, fish sticks, seafood highlighter, octopus. It's the baby octopus with its legs on it.

I look at Jai. "There's an octopus on the plate."

He laughs. "Have you tried octopus before?"

I shake my head.

Jai sticks one in his mouth and I begin to gag. He chews on it. "It's chewy," he says around the food in his mouth. He picks a second one up and holds it out to me. "Eat it."

I crinkle my nose at it. "I don't want to try it."

He finishes off the octopus. "You don't know what you're missing out on if you don't try it."

Fine!

Jai brings the octopus to my mouth and I open for him. He lets go of the octopus and I suck on his finger before pulling away.

Here goes nothing.

I start chewing on the octopus.

It's not that bad. It's chewy. I just hope that I can finish it all.

During dinner, Jai and I talk and laugh a lot during our meal.

When we've finished the waiter walks over to us. "Can I get you some dessert?"

"Yes, please."

Jai smiles. "We will have two chocolate sundaes, please."

The waiter writes it down before he walks away.

I look at him. "I wanted to share my ice cream with you." I rise and sits in his lap.

He whispers. "Next time."

The limo drops us back at the house and we look at it. The lights are all on in the house as Jai and I stand looking at.

He wraps his arms around me. "I like this place."

A smile spreads across my face. "Me too. Do you think you'll be able to put an offer on it or..." I trail off.

He whispers. "Or we look for a place of our own?" I nod. "I'll put an offer on this place. I want to bring my kids here when they grow up and then I want them to spend Christmas at my other house near the snow."

How many places does he own?

"I have six houses. Three in Los Angeles. One in New York, one in Chicago and another in Paris." He looks at the house one last time. "We should get in there."

We walk into the house hand-in-hand.

Veronica and Ricky are in the living room when we walk in.

She looks at me and disappointment flashed across her face and she shakes her head. "I thought he would have asked her to marry him tonight."

Ricky pulls her into his arms. "He will when the time is right."

Jai looks away from his parents. "I didn't know they wanted me to pop the question this soon."

I look at the ground finding it more interesting. "When you're ready you'll find the perfect time to do it." I walk away from him.

Suddenly I'm lifted up and thrown over his shoulders. "Let's go to bed."

He walks in the direction of our bedroom.

When we get there he helps me out of the dress and I help him out of his clothes.

That night we made love.
