Early morning, Heeyeon woke up before Jin and went to the kitchen. She went to prepare breakfast and cooked a soup for Kim Jae Chul, she knows he will get sick and tired of fish soup soon so she decided to cook samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup) for him. Jin couldn't find Heeyeon when he woke up, the moment he stepped out of his room, he bumped into his cousin.
Minha stared at Jin.
"What are you doing here?"
"Why can't I be here?"
"Aigooo! You never go back to your own room last night!"
"Does it concern you?" Jin raised his brow.
"Ewww dude" Minha jokingly said as she walks out.
Jin walked back to his room, washed up and got changed. He went downstairs and look for Heeyeon, he found her busy in the kitchen.
Jin goes behind her.
"Why didn't you wake me up?"
"Omo! I thought who's that! You scare me..." Heeyeon was shocked by the sudden appearance of him.
"Follow me to the office later?"
Heeyeon stared at him with big eyes.
"For what?"
"Let me go back sign some documents then we go try your bridal gowns." Jin smiled.
"Hmm, so soon?"
Minha steps in and interrupt.
"Cous is so eager to make you his official wife and tie you by his side." Minha smirked.
"Aish jinjja... mind your business ok?" Jin pouts.
"Hmph! Can't be bothered with you..." Minha shows a lopsided smile, walks away again.
Jin turns to Heeyeon.
"I really mean it."
"But, hmm... is not nice for me to appear together with you right?"
Jin hugs her from behind. "Who said so? It's time to give you a legal status—" Then he whispered softly. "—since you were already mine long ago."
Heeyeon blushed at Jin's words.
While they were talking, Jin's grandfather appeared to be standing behind them. Seeing how much Jin loves Heeyeon, he's really glad that he didn't do anything harsh to force her to leave Jin, or else.. he would regret for life.
His grandfather cleared his throat.
"Ahem"
Seeing Kim Jae Chul is standing behind them, Heeyeon immediately pushed Jin's hands away, but he refused to let go.
Jin's grandfather smiled at them, then he started to speak.
"Jin, can I talk to you for a while? Follow me at the living room."
"Yes, I'll go ahead." Jin responded and stared back at Heeyeon.
"I'll see you later" Then he kissed her cheek before stepping out of the kitchen.

Jin and his grandfather seated at the couch and started their conversation.
"Though you are the main handler of the company, I think you should get married first. It's good to start a family first so that you can concentrate on your career. That was what I did when I was younger, is a pity that your grandmother passed away too early, or else we will be enjoying our retirement."
"I know what I should do.. no worries." He smiled at his grandfather's advice.
"Thank you for the advice harabeoji."
————————
Breakfast was served. Jin asked Heeyeon to go office with him. His mother and the rest didn't show any disapproval.

"Afraid to go back?"
"Who said so? I shall go back with you!"
Jin laughed off at his fiancé's strong-character.
That's the typical Ahn Heeyeon...
She never admits her fear.
"Aunty... I think you will be having a grandchild soon, hehehe." Minha looks at the two lovers.
Jin's mother just laughed it off.
After breakfast, Heeyeon went and get changed. Just before she is about to leave her room, Jin's mother went up to her.
"Heeyeon-ah"
"Aunty.."
"You can just call me eomma" Jin's mother smiled.
Heeyeon feels slightly embarrassed making herself blush.
"I'm not teasing you... I just want to let you know.. you are the Kim's daughter-in-law, we are your family. Don't have to worry about your family background. We have accepted you as what you are, even Jin's grandfather has also accepted you. This has already proven it."
Heeyeon nods her head.
"Kamsamnida (thank you) au—eomma.. I understand." Heeyeon shyly smiled.
"I hope to hear you readily call me eomma soon..." His mother gently smiled and pats her daughter-in-law's head.
"...I better leave before he starts complaining. Bye eomma." Heeyeon hug her as she also hugged back.
————————
After Jin and Heeyeon left, Kim Jae Chul, Minha and Mrs. Kim were at the living room.
"Looks like its time to prepare their wedding." Jin's grandfather glared at his daughter-in-law (Jin's mom)
"I think so too."
"I'll have a discussion with them and let them decide on what kind of wedding they like. So long as they are happy, I am fine."
"Appa.."
"Harabeoji... you have really changed a lot. No longer that arrogant and domineering. I believe.. your changes are because of Heeyeon-ah right?" Minha question as she stare at her grandfather.
Kim Jae Chul got up and walked towards the staircase.
"Maybe it is..."
Seeing Kim Jae Chul making his way upstairs, Mrs. Kim and Minha smiled.

When reaching the building entrance, the past memories flashed back across Heeyeon's mind. It reminded her of her first day to work together with Jin. They were rather cold towards each other at that time. Now , they are walking into the building hand in hand in front of everyone. Most of the people at the reception were stunned to see this."
Moonbyul didn't noticed Heeyeon's presence.
"Director.. you have a meeting at 2pm."
Moonbyul turned back and saw Heeyeon beside Jin.
"Hani-ah?"
Heeyeon smiled. "Byulie.."
"Moonbyul, cancel all my appointments and meetings for today. Send out the memo that I will be getting married end of next month, so will be busy preparing for the wedding, unless necessary or else try not to disturb."
"Huh..? ——Ah yes sir!"
Getting married? Did I hear wrongly?
Moonbyul looks back at Heeyeon.
"Hani-ah.. you are here for...?"
Heeyeon also don't know how to explain to Moonbyul so just gave her a smile. Very soon Jin has settled his stuff, he came out putting his hand around Heeyeon's waist and talked to her gently.
Moonbyul finally knows who is going to be Jin's wife. Jin is a well-known flirt, she never knows that Heeyeon would be the one able to change him. This really surprised Moonbyul.

After leaving the office, Jin drove to the bridal boutique.
"Eh.. why are we doing here?"
"Forget what I have told you? We are going to try the wedding gowns."
"You.."
Jin knows what she wants to say.
"I am serious!"
After parking his car, he grabbed Heeyeon's hand and walked into the boutique. Heeyeon had no choice but to walk in with him.
"Good afternoon..how can I help you?" The saleslady greeted as they entered the shop.
Jin smiled at the saleslady.
"My fiancée and I are here to try wedding gowns."
"You are Mr. Kim?"
"Yes."
"Alright this way please.."
The salesgirl brought Jin and Heeyeon to the selection room. The sales girl helped Heeyeon to select a gown that's suitable for her. After a few minutes, Heeyeon stepped out of the changing room, she was wearing a stunning sequin-studded dress. This really stunned Jin with her gorgeous look.
"Mr. Kim, your fiancée is ready..."
Jin walked towards Heeyeon and whispered to her.
"You really looked gorgeous in this.."
Heeyeon blushed and looked at him.
"I.. I don't really feel comfortable wearing this... too fitting.."
"But I like it.." Jin smiles proudly.
Heeyeon turned her head away from him.
"Shouldn't you go and select yours?"
Jin just grins and walked towards the other side and selects his suit. After getting changed, the salesgirls around him were drooling.
—————————
2 saleslady are checking out Jin, admiring his visuals.
"Whoa! So handsome...."
"So sad.. he's going to get married."
A lady saw Jin from outside and entered the boutique.
"Oh? You are getting married? I never knew you would get married with.." The lady looks at Heeyeon from head to toe. "..this kind of girl."
"What are you doing here?" Jin looked towards at the lady.
"Hahaha.. why can't I be here? You don't own this boutique." The lady raised her brow.
Who is she? Such an elegant look..
Jin noticed Heeyeon's facial expressions and walked towards her. He pulls her into his arms, with his hand around her waist.
"So protective over her? Jin, seems like you have changed your taste? Are you really serious in getting married? This is so unlike you."
Hearing this, the sales-ladies left the room as they could sense something's going to happen, behind the closed doors.
———————
"I remembered you ever said, you won't be serious with any women and don't even mention marriage. You don't wish to be tied down by family commitments don't you? Or are you using this to spite your grandfather again?"
"I did say that before but that was before I met her—" Jin puts his hand around Heeyeon's waist, tightened. "—she's the one who's able to make me change my mind and willing to stay by her side for the rest of my life. I am willing to be tied down by her, love her whole-heartedly."
The lady huffed at Jin's words. "Oh? This is so unlike you! When we were together, I guessed you said the same thing that you would love me, in the end we still broke off."
Then the lady warns Heeyeon.
"Jin doesn't suit you, you better leave him."
Heeyeon sensed the tight grip around her waist and looked at Jin then looked at the lady.
"Whether does he suit me is not up to you to decide. Still I have to thank you for your kind warning. I knew what kind of person is he, entering a marriage stage won't exist in his mind until he met the right person. I can daringly say... I am the one. From now on, there won't be any other women beside him except me, because I have occupied his heart." Heeyeon points at Jin's heart looking bravely at the lady.
That lady was Jin's first girlfriend – Jisoo, up till now she still has liking for Jin so is natural for her to have this reaction. Imagine he's getting married but the bride is not her. She never knew that Jin would really give up his womanizing life for a simple women like Heeyeon. She really wondered how did this simple and normal girl would be able to do so.
"Then I wish you luck!" Jisoo turned and walked away.
After she left, Jin turned Heeyeon to face him.
"Do you really mean what you said?"
Heeyeon taking the initiative to hug him for the first time. "I mean it."
Jin hugged her tighter.
"Thank you Heeyeon ... thanks for believing me." Jin gave her a light kiss.
————————
Soon the wedding day is here, though Heeyeon said she doesn't want a grand wedding, as Jin is a well-known person in the business world so there's no choice for them to go for a simple wedding. This is also a good way to let others know that he, Kim Seokjin has been taken and that's the end of his womanizing days. He's starting a new chapter of his life with his loved one, will be holding her hand and walk through the rest of his life with her. Fate plays a big role for both of them, without fate both of them wouldn't come together.
Before the wedding, Heeyeon brought Jin back to her hometown where her mother was buried. Jin has made his promise in front of his mother-in-law that he will take care and love Heeyeon and thanked her for asking Heeyeon to bring the necklace to look for his mother or else both of them won't meet. Jin and Heeyeon have received the blessings from his grandfather Kim Jae Chul and the others. They knew they will be by each other side supporting each other.

In The Tall Grass
Elizabeth Wilson commits suicide. She was the golden girl among her peers in Darkwood, Washington who stood above the pressure of her drug-ridden town. Explore the summer before her senior year that triggered the domino effect of Elizabeth's emotional and psychological breakdown that lead her to take her own life. This is the prequel to the main story, Petrichor and was never intended to be made. I wrote this because I wanted to explore Elizabeth's character and show how the main characters have changed since this event. I decided to release this first because Petrichor is undergoing a full rewrite. In the meantime, I'm writing a side story called Mourning Glory that takes place between the second and third act of Petrichor. Development is going rather fast so I suggest to to read that if you like this story

Fall of Jupiter
What happens when the most powerful man in the world loses his soulmate to a heart attack? What happens when an innocent woman is dragged into a world of magic, and superheroes? Who is the true hero of the story? Note: This is the first book I ever wrote seriously. (I even had a cover made before I decided against publishing it) I'd like to think my writing style has improved with practice, and the multiple other books I've worked on. It felt wrong to leave a nearly completed book gathering dust in my google docs, but I don't think it's good enough to be officially published. As a result, I'm putting it here instead where it at least won't be totally wasted. Eventually, I'll put in the last 10 hours or so to finish it for you guys. Hope you like it :)
